A 26-year-old man has died after allegedly being struck by lightning on Wednesday afternoon in the mountainous area between the Bukoshi and Delloci mountains.

Police reported that they had difficulty reaching the site as it was a "deep mountainous area."

At the scene, the emergency team determined the death of FB.

"The Suhareka Emergency has notified the Police that near the place called 'Guri i Dellocit', in the mountainous area between the Bukoshi and Dellocit mountains, it was suspected that a person had been struck by lightning and, according to initial information, was without signs of life. The Emergency had received this information from several residents of the Delloc village. Immediately after receiving the notification, a police patrol from the Suhareka Police Station, together with investigators, headed towards the scene of the incident," the KP announced.
