Russia warns US about biological weapons concern

Pentagon bioweapons
The actions of the Pentagon in the field of biological weapons, including in Georgia, cause concern in Russia. In order to exclude possible incidents, it is necessary to agree on this issue. This is stated in a comment circulated today, April 23, by the Russian Foreign Ministry in connection with the publication of the "signal" version of the report of the US Department of State on compliance with international treaties and agreements in the field of arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation. On the topic of the laboratory in Georgia, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova explained:
"The Pentagon's military-biological activity in various regions of the world, including in the immediate vicinity of Russian borders, raises serious questions," the Russian Foreign Ministry noted. - Particularly noteworthy is the activity on the basis of the so-called Public Health Research Center named after R. Lugar in Georgia, where the US military is implementing dual-purpose programs, which Washington does not provide information on as part of the confidence-building measures of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC). We urge the United States to responsibly fulfill its obligations under the BTWC and take concrete steps to address the above concerns. We count on Washington's support for Russian initiatives aimed at strengthening the BTWC regime. "

Comment: We beg to differ with Mr. Konstantinidi. From the article: Pentagon Biological Weapons Program Never Ended: US Bio-labs Around The World we commented:
The Pentagon's bio-weapon Frankenstein-research is not only alive and well, like NATO, it has metastasized since the collapse of the USSR, spreading into Africa, the Middle East, and on Russia's doorstep.

President Putin noted the uptick in US bio-research focused on 'Russians/Caucasians' last October and, addressing Russia's Human Rights Council, said:
"[...] do you know that biological material is being collected all over the country, from different ethnic groups and people living in different geographical regions of the Russian Federation? The question is - why is it being done? It's being done purposefully and professionally. We are a kind of object of great interest."
Franz Klintsevich, the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council's Committee for Defense and Security went on to add this on his Facebook page:
"I'm not saying that it is about preparing a biological war against Russia. But its scenarios, are, no doubt, being worked on. That is to say, in case the need arises."
It may, for now, remain more sci-fi than fact, but the concept of ethnic-specific weapons and/or viral means of 'improving the human genome' are clearly uppermost in certain American minds.

What do they think is going to happen if they unleash some kind of bio-weapon pandemic that ostensibly targets 'only Russians'? Or if they accidentally unleash a global pandemic that will hurt Americans too because they were attempting to 'make people more docile'?

It apparently hasn't yet dawned on them that most Caucasians are of mixed descent/genotype. Additionally, attempting to 'improve' the human genome would likely backfire on them.

Iran launches US fury

No wonder the US reacted with fury this week when Iran launched a satellite 465 kilometers into space. In baseball terms, the Iranians just hit the US ball out of the park.

Mike Pompeo, America's top diplomat, is demanding more sanctions against Iran over what he claimed was a violation of UN resolutions outlawing Iranian military missiles in space. He called on the "Iranian regime" to prioritise resources in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and to end its campaign of global terror".

You have to hand it to Pompeo for his total lack of awareness of America's own absurdity.

Pompeo cited UN Resolution 2231 which pertains to the 2015 international nuclear accord with Iran - the same accord that the Trump administration dumped in May 2018. So, Washington wants Iran to abide by resolutions relating to a treaty that is non-existent, as far as the US is concerned.

In any case, Iran says that its communication satellite does not violate UN resolutions because it is not for an offensive military purpose. Russia has reportedly backed the Iranian viewpoint.

Best of the Web: This pandemic is over. Now let's stop the economic suicide and get back to work

closed sign
With the latest reports of plummeting death rates from all causes, this crisis is over. The pandemic of doom erupted as a panic of pols and is now a comedy of Mash-minded med admins and stooges, covering their ifs ands and butts with ever more morbid and distorted statistics.

The crisis now will hit the politicians and political Doctor Faucis who gullibly accepted and trumpeted what statistician William Briggs calls "the most colossal and costly blown forecast of all time."

An egregious statistical horror story of millions of projected deaths, suffused with incense and lugubrious accents from Imperial College of London to Harvard School of Public Health, prompted the pols to impose a vandalistic lockdown on the economy. It would have been an outrage even if the assumptions were not wildly astronomically wrong.

Flattening the curve was always a fool's errand that widened the damage.

Eastern Europe beats West in Covid-19 fight, but West can't acknowledge it because of Cold War SUPERIORITY complex

By any objective assessment, governments in the eastern half of Europe have dealt with the Covid-19 outbreak better than many in the west. Yet, because of deep-seated attitudes of superiority, few are giving credit where it's due.

Europe is divided again, but this time not by a wall.

Compare the Covid-19 deaths worldwide per one million population, as of April 22, by country.

Top of the list is Belgium with 525.12 deaths per million. Then comes Spain (445.49), Italy (407.87), France (310.45), the UK (261.37), the Netherlands (227.26), Switzerland (173.54), Sweden (173.33), and then Ireland (150.41). Spot anything? They're all western European countries.

You have to scroll down quite a way before you get to countries in central or eastern Europe.

Schiff blocks release of declassified Russia probe transcripts, keeping Americans in the dark

adam schiff
Rep. Adam Schiff
The Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Rep. Adam Schiff is keeping the truth from the American people. He doesn't want anyone - beyond those in Congress and the Intelligence Community - to have access to the closed door transcripts of witnesses that have been already been declassified regarding the FBI's Russia probe.

Frustrating is mounting against Schiff, D-CA, and so is patience among those in the administration, Congressional lawmakers and intelligence community who believe the American people have a right to see for themselves the testimony given by 53 witnesses behind closed doors during Congressional investigations into the FBI's handling of the Russia probe.

There's a reason Schiff is fighting back, despite the unanimous bipartisan vote to release the transcripts in the fall of 2018. Schiff doesn't want you to know the truth. The truth will destroy his credibility and the deceitful disinformation campaign he worked so hard to spread against President Donald Trump and his administration for years. This is the major reason why he has fought so diligently against his own committee's vote and why he has scrambled behind the scenes on Capitol Hill to keep the documents, which should have been made public within weeks or months of the vote, from every seeing the light of day.

Many sources in the administration, who are familiar with the process, have said the same.

"It's really concerning Adam Schiff is negating the bipartisan vote to release these transcripts to the public," said an administration official, with knowledge of the declassification process. "He's even going against his own prior statements about transparency. Schiff obviously wants to control what people see in a desperate bid to keep the discredited Russia collusion narrative alive."

COVID Predictions
© Corbett Report
Sometimes it isn't all that hard to predict the future. All you have to do is listen to what the social engineers are telling you they're going to do.

For example, when the neocons tell you that we need a "new Pearl Harbor" to justify a transformation of America's military, you can bet a new Pearl Harbor is going to arrive as soon as they get into office.

And now, after years of Bill Gates warning us that a pandemic was going to strike and utterly transform the world as we know it. He even went so far as to "simulate" the exact scenario we're living through just before we started living through it.

So, you see my point. Sometimes seeing what's coming next is just a question of listening to what the planners are telling us. Keeping that in mind, let's look at four predictions for how the coronavirus crisis is likely to proceed from here.

US calls on vassal states in EU to put sanctions on Iranians developing missile program

The United States has called on the European Union to place sanctions on individuals and entities working on Iran's missile programs after Tehran said it successfully launched a military satellite.

Washington also called on all countries to extend the United Nations conventional-arms embargo on Iran, saying the launch was proof the country's space program was "neither peaceful nor entirely civilian."

"This satellite launch vehicle and others launched before it incorporate technologies identical to, and interchangeable with, ballistic missiles, including longer-range systems such as intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs). No country has ever pursued an ICBM capability except for the purpose of delivering nuclear weapons," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement on April 25.

Coronavirus color-revolution? California declares 'nation statehood' as Trump moves to quell 'Mutiny on the Bounty'

Bloomberg published a stunning piece on April 9th promoting the secession of California from the U.S., in an op-ed by Francis Wilkinson titled Gavin Newsom Declares California a 'Nation-State', which resurrected John C. Calhoun in a neo-confederate argument favoring nullification.

Bloomberg is part of a strategy to prevent Trump from a second term by way of legal means (election), and has now brought to the fore the spectre of secession or nullification. This does not mean we should normally expect some announcement by Governor Newsom that 'The California Republic is an independent nation-state'. Yet amazingly, it has been almost verbatim said in this way.

The Bloomberg article details how California Governor Newsom has begun using that term and also related legal constructions in discussing how California will manage the coronavirus response on its own.

Comment: California isn't really going to secede. What's happening globally, from the US to Brazil to the EU, is that the World Govt is bypassing the national govts to directly govern regions. That's why Trump was outflanked on Corona1984, and why Brazil's president is having to attend anti-lockdown protest rallies despite being president of his own country!

Sydney Powell prevails: Brady docs finally disclosed by gov exonerate Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn

Michael flynn
General Michael Flynn
Stunning documents withheld for years from former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn's defense reveal that the retired three-star general did not commit any crimes, as suggested by Department of Justice prosecutors in former Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation, his attorney said.

Embattled Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn has hired well known defense attorney Sidney Powell to represent him before his sentencing hearing in Washington D.C.'s federal court. Flynn, who fired his attorney's last week, will still fully cooperate with the government in all cases pending, Powell told SaraACarter.com.

The new evidence was turned over to Sidney Powell, Flynn's defense lawyer, by U.S. Attorney Timothy Shea, who obtained the information after an extensive review by attorneys appointed by U.S. Attorney General William Barr to review Flynn's case. Barr's team included United States attorney in St. Louis, Jeff Jensen, who is handling the Flynn matter, along with prosecutors from the office of the deputy attorney general, Jeffrey A. Rosen.

Comment: The Epoch Times adds:
The emails newly revealed by Powell date back to 2018 and seem to show internal communications regarding the plea deal between Flynn's previous lawyers from Covington & Burling.

"We have a lawyers' [sic] unofficial understanding that they are unlikely to charge [Flynn] Junior in light of the Cooperation Agreement," says one heavily redacted email sent on March 19, 2018.

The prosecutors threatened to charge Flynn Jr. based on allegations that Flynn's now-defunct consultancy, Flynn Intel Group, lied in its foreign lobbying disclosures.

The second heavily redacted email, dated March 27, 2018, suggests the prosecutors tried to keep the deal regarding Flynn's son unofficial to make future prosecutions easier.

"The government took pains not to give a promise to MTF [Michael T. Flynn] regarding Michael [Flynn] Jr., so as to limit how much of a 'benefit' it would have to disclose as part of its Giglio disclosures to any defendant against whom MTF may one day testify," the email said.

"Giglio" refers to a 1972 Supreme Court opinion that requires prosecutors to disclose to the defense that a witness used by the prosecutors has been promised an escape from prosecution in exchange for cooperation.

An analysis by The Epoch Times pointed out more than nine months ago that such a side deal may have existed.

Former FBI agent and Epoch Times contributor Marc Ruskin called such a deal "unethical" in a prior interview.

"To twist the father's arm with regard to his child is a pretty low thing to do, but we've seen low things done in these cases," said.
And from The Federalist:
According to the FBI official who spoke to The Federalist, FBI general counsel Dana Boente led the charge internally against DOJ's disclosure of the new materials. Boente, who briefly served as acting Attorney General after Trump became president, personally signed off on one of the federal spy warrants against former Trump campaign affiliate Carter Page. The new documents, which were filed under a protective order by DOJ on Friday, will reflect poorly on the FBI, the official told The Federalist. It is not clear when, or even if, those documents will be unsealed and made available to the public for review.

Because the documents were filed under seal, The Federalist has not been able to review them independently. Neither the Department of Justice nor the White House responded to requests for comment about the newly filed court documents or their legal or political implications. Trump has reportedly been weighing whether to issue a pardon for Flynn.

Multiple investigative reports issued by the DOJ Office of Inspector General revealed myriad instances of corruption by FBI officials throughout the multi-year investigation of Trump and his campaign. Former FBI director James Comey was even referred for criminal investigation by the inspector general. Attorney General William Barr, who was confirmed by the Senate and sworn into office last year, appointed a seasoned federal prosecutor to investigate and determine whether other DOJ or FBI officials broke the law in attempt to oust Trump from offic

The federal judge overseeing the government's case against Flynn refused to throw out his conviction last year, but is still considering whether to allow Flynn to withdraw his guilty plea. Flynn has charged his previous counsel with a conflict of interest and ineffective counsel. Sidney Powell, Flynn's current attorney, did not respond immediately to a request for comment on the matter.
