Saudi-led Arab coalition resumes airstrikes on Yemen following Houthi drone attack on UAE airports & oil depot

At least three people were killed and six others were wounded after three oil tankers exploded in Abu Dhabi. Drones are believed to have caused the blast. Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi group claimed responsibility.

A fire broke out at an extension of Abu Dhabi airport, police said

Drones sparked an explosion on three oil tankers in Abu Dhabi and may have caused a separate fire at an extension of Abu Dhabi Airport, police said on Monday.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) state-run news agency said that the suspected drone attacks killed three people and injured an additional six.

Comment: Sputnik reports on the Saudi-led retaliation:
Arab Coalition Announces Start of Strikes on Sanaa After Houthi Attack on UAE - Reports"The coalition air force is conducting a round-the-clock operation in the skies over Sanaa," the statement says. "We urge civilians to stay away from military camps and Houthi gatherings for their safety."

F-15 aircraft attacks were said to have destroyed "two ballistic missile launchers that were used on Monday to strike the territory of the UAE."Al-Masirah, a Yemeni TV channel owned by the Houthi rebels, reported that four people were killed and five were injured as a result of the coalition attacks.

The Houthi movement confirmed it had carried out strikes with mined drones on airports in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, threatening new attacks on strategically important objects in the UAE. According to spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces Yahya Sare'e, five ballistic missiles and a large number of drones were used to perform the attack.

Shortly after the attack, UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah Bin Zayed asked US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to reinstate the Houthis' status as a terrorist organization, Axios reported. President Biden, who removed the movement from the US Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) list last year, has argued that the designation hinders the delivery of humanitarian assistance for Yemen, as the country is hit by the world's worst humanitarian crisis.

Yemen has been engulfed in an armed conflict between the government forces, led by President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, and the Houthi rebels for over six years. The situation was further aggravated after the Saudi-led coalition, working in cooperation with Hadi's forces, joined the conflict in 2015 and began conducting occasional air, land and sea operations against the Houthis.

West no longer considering cutting Russia off Swift, considers sanctions instead

SWIFT
Western governments are no longer considering cutting Russian banks off from the Swift global payments system, Germany's Handelsblatt newspaper reported, citing German government sources.

Handelsblatt reported that, according to its government sources, economic sanctions targeting major Russian banks were being considered as an alternative.

The Russian rouble gained on the report.

Comment: The West clearly dropped the SWIFT threat because it's one sanction that they themselves can't afford to enforce, and this is likely because Russia and China foresaw this avenue of attack long ago and set up a viable alternative: Putin and Xi plot their SWIFT escape

Plans for Kazakhstan 'regime change' announced by Kazakh financier convicted of murder & fraud, appeals to Macron & West for help

Mukhtar Ablyazov
Mukhtar Ablyazov
Mukhtar Ablyazov, a Kazakh financier and political activist who has been living abroad for the past decade, told RIA Novosti that he is planning to return to the Central Asian nation, despite having been convicted in absentia for ordering the murder of a business partner in 2004.

"We have made a plan, we will achieve regime change," Ablyazov said in an interview published on Monday. "I'm going to fly in and will lead a temporary government of Kazakhstan for half a year. After that we will hold elections. If our party wins those elections, then I will become the legitimate prime minister. There will be no such thing as the president. We will liquidate that office."

The banker claimed that this could take place in the near future, and added that he plans to appeal for help from Western governments.

Comment: With his track record of alleged murder, fraud and embezzlement, he certainly has all the qualifications to be the West's regime change stooge in Kazakhstan. However, considering the West's recent failures in Venezuela with Guaido, and in Belarus, the odds are against Ablyazov, save for some significant (manufactured) crisis: Also check out SOTT radio's: NewsReal: Kazakhstan on Fire: Why US vs Russia 'Great Game' Could Spark Global Economic Collapse

Pentagon Fails Trillion Dollar Audit (Again!)

pentagon money
That's what should have been the biggest news of 2021.

Instead, the story, which broke on November 17, was largely ignored or buried. The nation's two main newspapers, the Washington Post and the New York Times, have simply ignored it. Other news organizations stenographically quoted Pentagon officials as admitting that they "failed again" but saw "progress," and as promising that they would achieve a "clean" audit by... get this ... 2027.

The Pentagon, with some $3 trillion (give or take a trillion but who's counting?) in assets and a record current 2021 budget of $738 billion, has for the third year in a row failed its audit. An army of 1400 auditors hired by us taxpayers for $230 million and borrowed from some of the biggest auditing firms in the country, spent the past year poring through the books and visiting hundreds of operations of the government's largest and geographically vastest single agency, and came back with word that they couldn't give it a pass.

They couldn't even figure it out.

Think about that for a minute. The US military, which each year sucks up close to half of the nation's now $1.6-trillion discretionary budget, is a financial black hole! Nobody in the White House Budget Office, the Congressional Armed Services or Budget Committees, the General Accounting Office, or in the Pentagon itself, can say with a straight face how much the Pentagon spends of all the funds it is allocated by Congress each year, where that money gets spent, of even where all the equipment it buys — planes, ammunition, bombs, ships, etc. — are currently.

Comment: What a good and informative article until the author makes reference to the events of Jan 6, 2021 with his bunch of "fascist yahoos" line. The author appears to be very well informed on some things - and others not so much.

Still, the major points made here are important, and the implication dire - and that is that the US Military Industrial Complex very almost runs a big part of the show. And there's not a darned thing anybody can do about it.

Biden Administration quietly making lists of religious vaccine objectors

covid vax record
© skaman306/Getty ImagesThe Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia announced a new records system that will store the names and “personal religious information” of all employees who make “religious accommodation requests for religious exception from the federally mandated vaccination requirement.”
A tiny administrative agency in the District of Columbia announced a new policy Tuesday that will likely serve as a model for a whole-of-government push to assemble lists of Americans who object on religious grounds to a COVID-19 vaccine.

The Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia — a federal independent entity that assists officers in the District of Columbia courts in formulating release recommendations and providing supervision and services to defendants awaiting trial — announced a new records system that will store the names and "personal religious information" of all employees who make "religious accommodation requests for religious exception from the federally mandated vaccination requirement."

The announcement does not explain why the agency needs to create this list except to say that it will "assist the Agency in the collecting, storing, dissemination, and disposal of employee religious exemption request information collected and maintained by the Agency." In other words, the list will help the agency make a list.

The announcement also does not say what the agency will do with this information after it has decided an employee's religious accommodation request.

And neither does the announcement explain why the Biden administration chose to test this policy in an agency with a majority-black staff, who are both more religious and less vaccinated than other groups. So much for the president's commitment to "racial equity."

Comment: One shudders at the thought of how the above mentioned list may be used to coerce and punish those who object to taking the jab under religious grounds. See also:

Junior academics cited by "Forbes", AP, Reuters and "The Independent" have not done their homework

Today in "factchecking the factcheckers", junior academics cited by Forbes, Associated Press, Reuters and The Independent have just not done their homework concerning the work of Professor Dr. Mattias Desmet of the University of Ghent in Belgum. All I can say about this is that I hope that their naive, ignorant, grandstanding statements to the press are brought up during their future Academic Tenure and Advancement reviews.

But there has been an amazingly coordinated effort to shoot the messenger and actively character assassinate (or "defenstrate") me as a surrogate while avoiding any reference to the highly credentialed academic Professor Dr. Mattias Desmet who actually developed the theory and has documented the extensive evidence in an upcoming academic book. So, what can we learn from this in the short term?

Clearly, Google was not the only corporation triggered by Joe Rogan podcast # 1757 which previously reached #1 podcast ranking worldwide, has been referred to as "the most important interview of our time" and has been seen by over 50 million viewers. But what absolutely has been generated by all of the coopted reactionary press and Big Tech titans metaphorically tripping over their shoelaces is a massive trove of real time data validating the brilliant Mass Formation intellectual synthesis developed by Professor Desmet over the last two years.

Brace yourself for impact: Elite launch 'Great Collapse' of Western civilization

Klaus schwab
You know time is running out on the false reality in which most Americans live when the corporate-owned mainstream media starts to report some of the things that we in the alternative media have been reporting for years.

I've been warning since 2018: America is heading toward civil war. For the last six months or so many of us have been warning about the creaky supply chain.

That chain is getting ready to buckle and break like a water pipe in the dead of winter, when frigid air sneaks in from the north.

It usually happens in the middle of the night, while everyone is sleeping in their warm beds. Under the stress of steadily dropping temperatures, the pipe starts to expand. Now compromised, the pipe starts to drip, then suddenly it pops. Water gushes out and into the house.

At that point, you have a big mess on your hands. If only you'd seen the cold weather coming, you would have wrapped your pipes and protected them from the damage.

That's how I see the U.S. supply chain right now. The pressure is building while the façade of normalcy reigns in the lives of 90 percent of American families. As they sleepwalk through life, they have no idea what kind of pressure is building on those pipes that keep money flowing throughout the global economy.

If Biden backtracked any faster from Tuesday's speech, he'd be moonwalking

If you want a barometer of how well Biden's disastrously ill-considered speech in Georgia on Tuesday went over, look at how the White House is now spinning it:
President Joe Biden was not making a "human" comparison between opponents of pending voting rights bills and historical racists and segregationists in his address in Atlanta this week, the White House says. In his speech calling for new voter protections, Biden asked whether lawmakers wanted "to be the side of Dr. King or George Wallace," "John Lewis or Bull Connor" or "Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis." The comparison generated some blowback afterward, but press secretary Jen Psaki said Biden was not drawing a personal link between current lawmakers and notorious southern segregationists and the president of the Confederacy.

"I think everybody listening to that speech who's speaking on the level, as my mother would say, would note that he was not comparing them as humans, he was comparing the choice to those figures in history and where they're going to position themselves as they determine whether they're going to support the fundamental right to vote or not," she said Friday.
Maybe my favorite criticism came from Nancy Pelosi, who may be 81 years old, but at least is self-aware enough — probably from working with a lot of twentysomething House staffers — to realize that some of Biden's references may also have gone over the heads of people under 60:
"Nobody knows who Bull Connor is. . . . You know, if we're making the case to say, 'We're going to be with Martin Luther King or Bull Connor' — who's that?"

Comment: The importance of this comparison isn't about an old fuddy spouting forgotten references lost on today's generation. It says something about the lessons and nuance lost on the current generation damned to repeat history first hand.

There has been an extraordinary amount of backpedaling of late on 'The Science', with official positions morphing into those held by 'conspiracy theorists' for the last two years. At the same time, however, there is as yet no rollback of the 'crowd control measures' introduced on the basis of said 'Science'.

On this NewsReal, Joe and Niall cover the glaring contrast between official pronouncements about how mild the virus has become, and the increasingly extreme measures governments are nevertheless forcing on populations.

In the second hour, they switch gears to discuss the increasing geopolitical tension between the US and Russia over 'who controls Europe', and the highly explosive Tonga volcano eruption that literally shook the world...

Best of the Web: Latest, brilliant Neil Oliver monologue: 'They call us hateful childish idiots, but then, what are they?'

Neil Oliver
© screenshot
Neil Oliver goes there, directly to the epicenter of "build back better." In this monologue not only does Oliver highlight the connective tissue and motives of the elite, but he also references their words to point out the bigger leftist agenda at work.

Point One - The "Build Back Better" agenda (in every nation) was never about anything except radical climate change legislation. Once you accept that baseline, things start to become much clearer.

Point Two - The "Build Back Better" phrase came from the World Economic Forum and was promoted by a multitude of international leaders and left-wing organizations. That reality then brings up the most important point. To get to "building back better", you first need to destroy something. That thing they needed to destroy was the global economic dependency on carbon-based fuel supplies (oil, gas, coal, etc.).

Point Three - In order to destroy the 'something of that scale', the energy program for the entire world, something massive is needed to fundamentally change the entire world approach toward energy production. Something is needed to create the crisis that provides the origin for the process to initiate.

Comment: The author has tacked her own (thoughtful) take on the 'Build Back Better' scheme onto Neil's monologue, which simply takes note of the similarity of language used by leaders to malign dissidents against their schemes as 'less-than-human'.

Regarding hidden motivations for these schemes, the author is - in our opinion - correct about climate change being the larger motivating factor for elites.

The true horror of the situation, however, is that, just as the 'war against the virus' is fanciful because governments cannot affect the trajectories of airborne respiratory viruses, neither can they affect climate change.

Part of the illusion is that they have sold people a misleading version of climate change. What's really coming down the pipe is sudden, catastrophic change, which governments are powerless to stop or even mitigate.

The entire scheme, therefore - Covid-as-trigger, vaccinations-for-control, 'saving the planet' by transforming civilization's infrastructure - is a global exercise in deluding people, keeping them asleep in the false belief that 'governments have this in hand'.

They do not, and they will flee when the sh*t hits the fan...
