Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin Signals New Leadership with 11 Executive Actions on First DaySee also:
Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) signaled a new direction for Virginia on his first day in office, signing 11 executive actions aimed at changing the trajectory of the Commonwealth.
Youngkin signed nine Executive Orders and two Executive Directives, many of which focused on education, the coronavirus, and economic development, according to a press release.
In his first Executive Order as governor, the Virginia Republican promised to "restore excellence in education by ending the use of divisive concepts, including Critical Race Theory, in public education." The second order promised to "empower Virginia parents in their child's education and upbringing by allowing parents to make decisions on whether their child wears a mask in school."
Both orders signal the fulfillment of a major campaign theme about education and parental rights, taking on the Marxist critical race theory indoctrination scheme directly, and opening up the opportunity for parents to choose whether or not to mask their child, a practice that has proven to be detrimental to social development and mental health.
The final education-related order is the fourth, which promises to investigate the Loudoun County School Board which appears to have covered up the rape of a student in order to pass a sweeping transgender bill that would allow boys to use girls' restrooms and locker rooms.
Another coronavirus-related directive promises to "restore individual freedoms and personal privacy by rescinding the vaccine mandate for all state employees."
Youngkin also "declare[d] Virginia open for business," but backed up the order by stating his intention to withdraw from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and cut "job-killing regulations by 25 percent." He also spoke about a new direction for business in his inaugural speech.
"I'm not going to preview 18 different scenarios ... I would simply say that our commitment and the conversation that we have with our allies is around inflicting very sharp pain very fast, if Russia makes this move in any form."Western media, as well as multiple US officials, have repeatedly warned of an imminent "invasion" of Ukraine by Moscow over the past few months. Washington and its allies have cited the movement of Russian troops within the country's vast Western territory as 'proof' of such plans. Moscow has consistently denied the allegations, insisting it has a right to carry out military maneuvers within its borders as it pleases.
"We have too much tension on the border [with Ukraine]. We have too much tension in this part of Europe. It drags [in] more problems automatically. It is extremely dangerous for our continent."According to Peskov, the only way forward for the US and NATO is to finally address Russia's concerns in earnest, instead of brushing them off. "This is the reason we are insisting on receiving a direct response," he explained, adding that Moscow expected an "extremely specific" response to its "extremely specific proposals."

"The decline in forex deposit accounts has begun. We will see the declining trend in the forex deposit accounts continuing downward quickly."Turkey's economy is currently in crisis, with high inflation continuing to rise, while economic growth has stalled and the country's foreign-exchange reserves have plummeted.
Comment: The author has tacked her own (thoughtful) take on the 'Build Back Better' scheme onto Neil's monologue, which simply takes note of the similarity of language used by leaders to malign dissidents against their schemes as 'less-than-human'.
Regarding hidden motivations for these schemes, the author is - in our opinion - correct about climate change being the larger motivating factor for elites.
The true horror of the situation, however, is that, just as the 'war against the virus' is fanciful because governments cannot affect the trajectories of airborne respiratory viruses, neither can they affect climate change.
Part of the illusion is that they have sold people a misleading version of climate change. What's really coming down the pipe is sudden, catastrophic change, which governments are powerless to stop or even mitigate.
The entire scheme, therefore - Covid-as-trigger, vaccinations-for-control, 'saving the planet' by transforming civilization's infrastructure - is a global exercise in deluding people, keeping them asleep in the false belief that 'governments have this in hand'.
They do not, and they will flee when the sh*t hits the fan...
