Flashback Rise of the War Harpies: The Women Destroying our World

Harpy

Comment:
08.03.2022: Update: It is now close to 6 years since this article was written and in light of the recent conflict in Ukraine, a small update is in place. A number of those war harpies mentioned have lit up again and added their voices in support of the imperial war machine. An addition to the list of war harpies which is hard to ignore since we are talking about Ukraine is the Canadian Chrystia Freeland, currently deputy prime minister of Canada and listed on the Forbes 100 2021 list of most powerful women.

During the Canadian trucker convoy, she was happy to crush any freedom of speech and protest for freedom. Yet, that proved to just be when it came to Canadians protesting freedom. Merely a couple of weeks later, she could be seen leading a protest in Toronto holding a Ukrainian scarf in the colors of the far right Ukrainian nationalists, advocating for freedom in Ukraine.
Chrystia Freeland OUN scarf
The tweet was quickly deleted and the offending scarf removed. Freeland has Ukrainian roots and presents herself as having knowledge of Ukrainian politics and culture. So it is unlikely that she didn't know exactly what the colors of the scarf represented. Especially when considering that her grandfather likely held the flag of this movement in his hands.
Chrystia Freeland's grandfather Mikhail Chomiak, a propagandist and spy for the German Army who advocated and assisted in the murder of the Jews, Poles and Russians during World War II, and took his reward by stealing Jewish property - a publishing company, office, apartment, antique furniture, and limousine.

The point isn't that Freeland is culpable in her grandfather's sins. Her sin is hiding them, and her reason for doing so. She agrees with Chomiak on turning Ukraine into the Greater Galicia was Adolf Hitler's objective to achieve between 1939 to 1945: that's to say, cleanse the territory of Jews, Poles and Russians by killing them all. Chomiak succeeded with the first two; he was then employed by the US Army on the third. Freeland is keeping the plan in the family; they now have the Canadian government behind them. Demonizing Russians is part of the same plan as it was in Chomiak's day.
From the far from complete list of war harpies listed in the article, a few have happily stuck their heads out again to pour fuel on the fire of war and chaos.

Victoria Nuland aka. Victoria f*ck the EU Nuland and one of the architects of the Ukraine coup in 2014 has obviously been quick to support her minions in power in Ukraine. She was out of office under Trump and came back after Biden was placed in the POTUS seat and is now in the position of Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs. She had a head start by already announcing two months before Russia entered Ukraine, the consequences:
Speaking to the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland explored possible ways that Washington could punish Moscow for any military incursion.

"What we are talking about would amount to essentially isolating Russia completely from the global financial system, with all the fallout that would entail for Russian businesses, for the Russian people, for their ability to work and travel and trade," Nuland said.
And in January:
The US has some 18 "different scenarios" up its sleeve to react to any form of Russian attack on Ukraine, leading official Victoria Nuland has warned, promising to inflict "sharp pain" on Moscow should it make such a move.
Another harpie is Hillary Clinton, who just can't miss an opportunity to get some limelight. Today of all days it is womens day and the war harpy was in the irony of things duly rewarded:
On receiving the International Women's Day Lifetime Achievement Award by Forbes on Tuesday, Ms Clinton criticised Russia's limited ceasefire that was announced on Monday.
[...]
Hillary Clinton has called on world leaders to put a full embargo on Russian oil and gas exports as the civilian death toll in Ukraine continues to rise.

Speaking at the Forbes 30/50 Summit in Abu Dhabi, the former US secretary of state said blocking the country's energy exports would be the ultimate step in escalating the sanctions campaign imposed by the West.

Her call to action came on the same day that Russia threatened to cut off gas supplies to Europe over the war in Ukraine.
Another war harpy Condolizza Rice felt moved to comment on the situation:

And this:
"We have to make sure he really understands that the cost would be extraordinary to try to cross an Article 5 line," she said, noting that Baltic states are part of NATO and have its protection.

She also expressed support for the sanctions against Putin and Russia over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine, saying that the U.S. should "concentrate on making him pay the highest cost for what he has already done."
Another of the original war harpies, Samantha Power mentioned in July 2021 that only women can bring peace:
USAID administrator Samantha Power was mocked on Friday after she suggested that world peace could only be delivered by a woman - with social media users pointing out Power's history of promoting military intervention.

"Good afternoon. I come bearing a simple message: if you want peace in this world, trust women to deliver it," said Power during a speech on Friday, which quickly inspired ridicule online.
Regarding Ukraine she piped up again, this time at the Polish border to Ukraine, where she pretends to care about the Ukrainian refugees:

Samantha Power is the administrator of USAID, which is a humanitarian front for the CIA to help destabilise countries and effect regime change when it is deemed necessary. Tony Cartalucci writes:
USAID and Co. - Low Intensity Invasion and Occupation

Iraq and Afghanistan are extreme examples of the US exercising global hegemony, which included spectacular, full-scale military invasions, lengthy occupations, and nationwide "nation-building" carried out by various organizations utilized by the US to project power abroad.

One of these organizations is USAID. It should be, but rarely is, troubling to the world's nations that USAID played an integral part in the invasion, occupation, and conquest of Iraq and Afghanistan, while it also maintains an extensive presence everywhere else US interests have directed their attention.

[...]
The US through USAID is essentially playing a game of go against an unskilled player who doesn't even know the game has begun. USAID is then able to quickly and easily overwhelm the board with its "pieces" - NGOs it funds, organizations and talent it has co-opted, and entirely parallel institutions running various aspects of a targeted nation right under the nose of that nation's government.

In coordination with other US State Department-funded political fronts and NGOs, the business of then eliminating indigenous institutions and overthrowing established governments in favor of proxy institutions run by Western interests and client regimes bent to the will of the US, can begin in earnest.

[...]
Counterinsurgency Manuals are USAID's "Rule Book"

USAID's version of "go" has its own rule book of sorts, found easily online as free downloads from any number of US government websites in the form of counterinsurgency manuals. In these manuals, it is described how gaining control over any given population requires controlling the basic essentials that population depends on - everything from energy production to education, to garbage collection and job creation.

By controlling these aspects in any given population, one then controls that population itself. It is the key to not only defeating an "insurgency," it is also the key to running a successful insurgency oneself. USAID projecting its influence into any given nation is in fact a sort of insurgency - a literal attempt to take control of a government - however incremental and patient the nature of that insurgency might be.

Original article follows:
The biggest problem besetting the psychopathic elite in their push for global domination is that normal human beings don't want war. Most people, for the most part, just want to live a peaceful life with their family and friends. So how do you sell something as unpalatable as war? There are several options, which can be used alone, or in combination:

Biohazard

Do Ukrainian biolabs violate the ban on biological weapons programs?

Unless either Ukraine or the US can prove otherwise, the available evidence points to Kiev operating biological laboratories which may have violated the Biological and Toxins Weapons Convention.

Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland appeared before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations on March 8, testifying on the US and international response to Russia's attack on Ukraine. After delivering her opening remarks, the veteran US diplomat took questions from the committee members. One question, asked by Senator Marco Rubio, a Republican from the state of Florida, stood out. "Does Ukraine have chemical or biological weapons?" he asked.

Nuland answered the question very deliberately. "Ukraine has biological research facilities which, in fact, we're now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of, so we are working with the Ukrainians on how we can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach," she said.

Russian MoD on US biolabs: One goal was to create bioagents that can target certain ethnic groups

The Russian Defence Ministry earlier announced that the United States had poured money into biological research facilities in Ukraine, alleging they may have been used in order to create biological weapons and conduct bat coronavirus-related experiments.

Among the goals of the biological research laboratories in Ukraine suspected of having been funded by the United States was the creation of bioagents that would be capable of targeting certain ethnic groups, the Russian Defence Ministry revealed on Thursday.

"The available documents confirm numerous cases of the transfer of biological samples of Ukrainian citizens abroad. With a high degree of probability, we can say that one of the tasks of the United States and its allies is the creation of bioagents that can selectively affect various ethnic groups of the population", said Igor Kirillov, the head of the Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces.

Comment: Another 'conspiracy theory' moves into the realm of fact. Unfortunately most normal people cannot comprehend the psychopathic mind-set that engages in such research. And those who have warned about such developments seem to meet bad ends. Investigative reporter Dilyana Gaytandzhieva's excellent work:

The non-government in Kiev is simply not allowed by the Empire to negotiate anything.

By now what we may call a Triple Threat has been established as the catalyst anticipating the launch of Operation Z.
  1. Ukraine developing nuclear weapons. Zelensky himself hinted at it in the Munich Security Conference.
  2. U.S. bioweapons labs in Ukraine. Confirmed, tersely, by none other than the Sinister Cookie Distributor neocon wife in the uber-neocon Kaganate of Nulands, who described them as "biological research facilities".
  3. An imminent attack on Donbass with massive civilian deaths. It could have been in March, according to documents seized by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Or even in late February, according to SVR intelligence, which was monitoring the line of contact on a minute-by-minute basis. This is what eventually prompted Operation Z as a Russian version of R2P ("Responsibility to Protect").
So after years of CIA-instigated shouts of "conspiracy theory!" and less than zero "fact checkers" activity, it turns out "it was all happening in Ukraine", as divine messenger Maria Zakharova once again pointed out:
"We have found your own products. We have found your biological material."

Moscow sets conditions for Putin-Zelensky negotiations

Talks between the Russian and Ukrainian leaders shouldn't be "a meeting for the sake of meeting," Russian FM Sergey Lavrov has said

There may be a need for direct talks between Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, and the Russian president is ready to take part in such negotiations, but it would require some preparation, Russia's foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, has said.

"We've confirmed today that President Putin isn't rejecting the idea of a meeting with President Zelensky," Lavrov said after "difficult" talks with Ukrainian FM Dmytro Kuleba in Turkey's Antalya on Thursday.

He said he reminded his Ukrainian counterpart that Putin and Russia are "always ready to meet if we can achieve some added value and solve the problem."
"Moscow sees no use in meeting simply for the sake of meeting. Possibly at some point, such necessity will hopefully arise. But for this to happen preparatory work must be done along the Belarusian track.

"Our very specific proposals were heard out by the Ukrainian side, and they promised that there would be very specific answers. We're waiting."

Comment: Talks: A little bit of 'give' and not a bit of 'take':
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba says a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, the first high-level talks between the two countries since Moscow launch an unprovoked invasion of its neighbor last month, failed to make progress on a cease-fire.

Kuleba said after the meeting in the Turkish resort city of Antalya on March 10, 15 days into the war, that Lavrov did not commit to ensuring a humanitarian corridor in the besieged city of Mariupol.

He added that Ukraine was ready to continue to engage with Russia on finding a path to stop the war.

For his part, Lavrov said Russia was also willing to continue talks, noting that there had been some progress in three rounds of discussions between Kyiv and Moscow at the border with Belarus.

Lavrov said Moscow has presented Ukraine with its proposals on how to end the conflict and expects a reply.

Kuleba characterized Russia's demands as nothing short of a full surrender.
When in stalemate, enlist a new negotiator:
Gerhard Schroeder, who served as German chancellor from 1998 until 2005, has arrived in Moscow and is expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Politico claimed on Thursday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

If the report is anything to go by, the German politician is going to try to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine. Schroeder's visit, if confirmed, would come off the back of a meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian foreign ministers in Antalya on Thursday.

Meanwhile, a criminal complaint has been filed in Germany against the former chancellor in connection with possible "crimes against humanity," Badische Neueste Nachrichten newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Kathrin Soefker, a spokesperson for Hanover's prosecutor's office, told journalists that the criminal complaint against the former chancellor and several other individuals had come in last week. The official also said that Hanover prosecutors "forwarded the files to the Federal Public Prosecutor" on Monday.

Among the cases the German authority is currently looking into are possible war crimes allegedly committed in Ukraine. German Justice Minister Marco Buschmann earlier confirmed to the media that prosecutors were going to "collect and secure all evidence of war crimes." The official also described Russia's military offensive in the Eastern European country as a "serious violation of international law that cannot be justified by anything."

Responding to journalists' requests for comment on the Schroeder case, a representative for Germany's Federal Public Prosecutor said she could not disclose any details. The Federal Public Prosecutor "does not, as a matter of course, reveal if it is or was looking into a case."

Since the start of Russia's military offensive against Ukraine on February 24, Schroeder has been under growing pressure over his refusal to step down from his posts at several major Russian energy companies. The politician serves as the chair of Nord Stream 2 AG's administrative board, as well as the chief of the supervisory board at Russia's Rosneft oil company. Moreover, in early February, the former German chancellor was nominated to join the supervisory board at Russia's Gazprom - a major supplier of natural gas to Europe.

Schroeder has never made a secret of his friendship with President Vladimir Putin.

While the ex-chancellor denounced the Russian military offensive in Ukraine, and called for an end to the war, he also noted that NATO, too, had made mistakes in the way it had treated Russia.

Schroeder's closeness to the Russian leadership and businesses saw his entire staff of four walk out on him last week, with some in Germany calling for the politician to be stripped of the benefits and pension he enjoys as an ex-chancellor.

Twitter allows death threats against Russians in new Ukraine war policy

Twitter has made an exception to its rules that now allows for users to make death threats against Russians, due to the war in Ukraine.

The Daily Beast quietly reported on March 8 that it had obtained an internal Twitter memo that states,
"Based on the current safety guidelines on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, content wishing, hoping or calling for serious harm against leaders of the Russian government, military leaders, soldiers or para-military fighters will result in No Action."
That is to say, now that Western governments are sending billions of dollars of weapons to Ukrainian insurgents and essentially waging a war on Russia, the social media company gave its users the green light to discuss killing Russian politicians and soldiers.

Like most major Silicon Valley corporations, Twitter is a US government contractor, and has worked with the Department of Homeland Security while taking money to promote US state propaganda outlets.

This policy update came after prominent right-wing US Senator Lindsey Graham used Twitter to call for the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

NATO member bans arms supplies to Ukraine

Orban
© NewsBeezer.comHungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban
Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban has signed a decree banning weapons supply to Ukraine, explaining the decision by the need to defend his own country's security.

In a video statement, published on Monday on Facebook, the prime minister said that the decree has been released following an assessment of the situation in Ukraine. As the "military actions are getting closer and closer to the Hungarian border," Orban said, it was decided to outlaw the weapons supply.

"The order makes it clear that weapons cannot be transported from Hungary's territory to the territory of Ukraine," Orban said.

The announcement follows a Sunday statement by the country's foreign minister, Peter Szijjarto, who said that
"The government's paramount goal is to prevent Hungary from entering this war. To this end, we resist the pressure and the demands of the opposition: We will not send soldiers or weapons to Ukraine, nor will we allow the transfer of deadly weapons in our territory."

The great awakening vs managerial liberalism: Thoughts on Dugin and the Russian incursion

Alexander Dugin
Alexander Dugin
This post picks up where the last one left off, looking a little more closely into the proposition that Russia's military intervention into Ukraine constituted a major blow against the managerial class' globalist faction. Toward fleshing out these ideas I'll be taking us on a quick tour of key relevant ideas of Alexander Dugin, who, at the time of Russia's invasion of Crimea, Foreign Affairs characterized as "Putin's Brain." However, while Dugin's thinking provides the geopolitical context for understanding the relevance of these events, the intellectual history he offers to underpin the relevance of that geopolitical context provides a less thorough fit to the facts than does the theory of managerial liberalism. If Dugin's nominalist explanation is replaced by the theory of managerial liberalism, his geopolitical analysis becomes more compelling.

It would be convenient if we could just launch directly into Dugin, but unfortunately I've not yet had occasion to expand on the theory of managerial liberalism in this blog, so a brief introduction will have to precede the Dugin discussion. The fuller explanation of managerial liberalism is available in The Managerial Class on Trial, but in the meantime, we'll have to do the best that we can as a brief summary, here.

Will we see a Syria-style "chemical attack" in Ukraine?

chemical attack

Over the past two weeks, media headlines worldwide have been dominated by the Russian military intervention in Ukraine - launched in response to almost nine years of Western provocations.

These provocations began with the CIA and MI6 orchestrated Euromaidan colour revolution in November 2013, following then-President Viktor Yanukovych's decision to suspend an EU trade deal.

This coup would, in turn, lead to the predominantly ethnic Russian Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics in the eastern Donbass region breaking away from Kiev's control in April 2014. The catalyst for this secession being the anti-Russian far-right sympathisers that would make up the Western-backed post-Maidan government of Petro Poroshenko.

Diplomacy fail: Saudi, UAE leaders ignore Biden when he calls to talk gas prices

The leaders of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates would not come to the phone when President Biden tried to call them to discuss boosting oil exports to offset price hikes linked to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, according to a report.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan declined Biden's attempted outreach, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.

"There was some expectation of a phone call, but it didn't happen," a US official told the newspaper. "It was part of turning on the spigot [of Saudi oil]."
