Between vanishing livelihoods, car-jackings gone wild, fears of stroking out or infarcting from their mRNA boosters, threats of nuclear annihilation over Ukraine, and remorseless waves of mindfuckery emanating from the evil machine fronted by "Joe Biden," is it any wonder that Americans struggle to understand what is happening to our country?

Last week, the "president" blurted out "we beat Big Pharma!" That was a shocker. He didn't elaborate. Did the White House staff and the Pfizer C-suite meet for a volleyball game at Rehoboth beach? Karine Jean-Pierre didn't say. Nor did anyone mention the government-purchased 171-million doses of the new bivalent Covid "vaccines" the FDA is rolling out. Do you wonder what the price-per-dose was? Go suck an egg... you're not allowed to know. The compliant search engines will not tell you. Not even the one that goes quack. That was some "beat," though, huh? Wait for the news about who actually steps up to take this new, virtually untested shot. Hint: people who live under a rock.

Chinese leader Xi Jinping has ordered the Chinese military to be ready to seize Taiwan by 2027, according to CIA Deputy Director David Cohen this week.

CNN reporter Katie Bo Lillis tweeted:

Cohen's assessment is in line with assessments shared last year by U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) commander Adml. John Aquilino and his predecessor, Adml. Philip Davidson. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley discussed those assessments with Congress last year.
"Their assessment is based off a speech by President Xi that challenged the People's Liberation Army to accelerate their modernization programs to develop capabilities to seize Taiwan and move it from 2035 to 2027."

The Ukrainian President published a photograph on his social media channels showing one of his security escorts bearing a patch referencing the personal bodyguard unit of Adolf Hitler.

On September 13, Ukrainian President Vlodymyr Zelensky made a surprise trip to the city of Izyum in the Kharkov Region for a photo op following his military's recapture of the town from Russian forces. During the visit, a soldier who appeared to be guarding Zelensky was photographed wearing a Nazi-inspired patch on his uniform.

When the image drew criticism on social media, the Ukrainian president's official Telegram and Facebook accounts quietly deleted it.

In Izyum on September 14, Zelensky participated in a flag raising ceremony to the tune of the Ukrainian National Anthem and took selfies with local civilians and soldiers. While most of the men on the scene wore official military fatigues, it was not difficult to see which ones were for lack of a better term, working, and which ones were simply present to participate in the event.

There are plenty of formal peer-reviewed industry papers and articles published in specialized international oil & gas journals regarding theoretical "huge volumes" of supposed European nat-gas "reserves". Supposedly, such reserves would "solve" the absolutely unnecessary self-inflicted European nat-gas crisis. Furthermore, there are lots of curious back-of-the-envelope ´calculations´ plus added blah blah blah with the very same prognosis in mind. And even some European Commission members are on record describing a highly optimistic outlook on how long (months !) would Europe´s natural gas reserves 'easily' last after Russia stops delivering its traditional and highly reliable (and cheap) nat-gas feedstock. The hard part though — not ever explained by bureaucratic ignoramuses — is exactly how such nat-gas reserves would be forced out of their current storage without any back-flow pressure from Russian nat-gas to push it as required by Isaac Newton´s fluid mechanics, who if alive today would obviously be a hard-core Brexiteer.

'Selfish' Norway must share wealth with Ukraine - lawmaker

A Norwegian lawmaker has urged officials to share the country's soaring gas profits with Ukraine, saying it would be "morally wrong" to gain from the military conflict raging in Eastern Europe. The government, however, insists its top priority is to boost output as other EU states look to curtail Russian energy imports.

Former Green Party spokesperson and current MP Rasmus Hansson has floated a profit-sharing scheme to convert gas revenues into foreign aid for Ukraine, telling Politico:
"Norway is being short-sighted and too selfish. We are getting a windfall profit which is very big, but the question is: does that money belong to us as long as the most obvious reason for that price increase and that extra income is the disaster that has befallen the Ukrainian people?"
Hansson said experts with Norway's sovereign wealth fund, which manages state energy profits, must determine a "normal" gas price, and that all earnings above that level should be donated to a "solidarity fund" for post-war rebuilding efforts in Ukraine.

The White House has ratcheted up its political feud with Republicans over the US border crisis, suggesting that GOP governors who send illegal aliens to Democrat-run communities in faraway states resemble human traffickers. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters on Friday.:
"These vulnerable migrants were reportedly misled about where they were headed . . ., misled about what they would be provided when they arrived, promised shelter, refuge, benefits and more. These are the kinds of tactics we see from smugglers in places like Mexico and Guatemala."
The statement came two days after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent two planeloads of migrants to Martha's Vineyard, a Massachusetts island known as a playground of the rich and famous, where former President Barack Obama owns a beachfront mansion. Also this week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott sent two busloads of newly arrived migrants to Washington, where they were dropped off near the residence of Vice President Kamala Harris.

American officials admitted to CNN on Friday that US-led sanctions haven't crashed Russia's economy. Despite Moscow's record energy revenue and the strength of its currency, the officials insist that the effects of the sanctions are yet to be felt.

The US and its NATO and EU allies responded to Russia's military operation in Ukraine by applying unprecedented economic sanctions to its economy. Russia became the world's most sanctioned country within two weeks of the offensive, yet after successive rounds of penalties, energy embargos and excommunication from the SWIFT banking system, Moscow is reaping record profits from its fossil fuel exports, the ruble is as strong against the dollar as it was in 2019, and Russia's inflation rate has fallen.

"We were expecting that things like SWIFT and all the blocking sanctions on Russia's banks would totally crater the Russian economy," one unnamed US official told CNN. Another said that Washington "hoped to see the Russian economy suffering more by now, given the unprecedented severity" of the sanctions, CNN paraphrased.

Comment: The West has been trying for years to crash the Russian economy. Pathological persistence is the only explanation for continuing such a futile effort. A self-sufficent country can't be cowed.

In June, a hacker Telegram channel dubbed 'Beregini' published the action plan of the Information and Psychological Operations Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SSO). According to official information, the tasks of this unit include working with the population of foreign countries, creating agent networks, and infiltrating special services and military organizations to conduct espionage and destroy people who pose a threat to the Ukrainian government (including in other countries), as well as preparing coups and the overthrow of regimes.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) decided this week to take the side of Ukraine in the current war; blame Russia for the shelling of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP); and issue a demand for Russia to surrender the plant to the Kiev regime "to regain full control over all nuclear facilities within Ukraine's internationally recognized borders, including the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant."

This is the most dramatic shift by the United Nations (UN) nuclear power regulator in the 65-year history of the organisation based in Vienna.

The terms of the IAEA Resolution Number 58, which were proposed early this week by the Polish and Canadian governors on the agency board, were known in advance by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres when he spoke by telephone with President Vladimir Putin in the late afternoon of September 14, before the vote was taken. Guterres did not reveal what he already knew would be the IAEA action the next day.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is balking at the move to fly illegal aliens to the doorsteps of the nation's wealthiest on Martha's Vineyard even as she has remained silent when President Joe Biden buses and flies border crossers to working- and middle-class American towns.

This week, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) flew about 50 illegal aliens to Martha's Vineyard, a wealthy enclave of liberals and part-time home to former President Obama, who owns a nearly $12 million estate there.

Some of the nation's wealthiest citizens have summer homes on the tiny, elite island, and could house up to six million border crossers and illegal aliens if they wanted to. On Friday, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker (R) announced that the state was busing the illegal aliens off Martha's Vineyard to Joint Base Cape Cod.
