EU Parliament passes resolution on establishment of tribunal on 'crime of aggression against Ukraine'

The European Parliament has called for establishing a tribunal on the developments in Ukraine in a resolution that was passed at a parliament session in Strasbourg on Thursday.

The document calls for "the establishment of a tribunal on the crime of aggression against Ukraine." As many as 472 lawmakers voted in favor of the resolution, 19 voted against it and 33 abstained.


Comment: It's telling that supposedly educated adults would create such a blatantly biased bill.


"MEPs urge the EU, in close cooperation with Ukraine and the international community, to push for the creation of a special international tribunal to prosecute Russia's political and military leadership and its allies," the European Parliament said in a statement following the vote.

Comment: The UN hasn't established such a tribunal, because it's highly likely that it would fail to pass, because the 'international community' is increasingly outnumbered.

The mainstream narrative spinners - from politicians to the CDC to the media - have started reporting "possible harms" due to Covid "vaccines".

This is a potentially seismic shift in the narrative, but as usual we need to ask the perennial questions -

Why this?

Why now?

For almost two years, those of us expressing concern about the possible damage done by forcing untested and unnecessary gene therapies on billions of people have been either ignored by the noisy majority or slandered by them. And this includes both mainstream and "alt" media.

On the rare occasion an "anti-vaxxer" was given any kind of platform, it was usually either a hand-picked kook, or a minor celebrity making arguments from emotion.

The actual science - and the professionals communicating that science - were banished from the mainstream airwaves. Airbrushed out of sight and mind.

The vaccines were branded "safe and effective", by everyone everywhere.

Until now.

Last week the UK's BBC News invited Dr Aseem Malhotra to discuss prescriptions for statins to prevent heart disease (yeah - another issue, for another time).

New Zealand PM's resignation might leave China nervous

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced she will resign in February, saying she doesn't have "enough in the tank" to keep going, ending a six-year tenure in Wellington which, for the most part, was praised around the world. Some called her "one of the greatest prime ministers in New Zealand's history."


Comment: One could also call her one of the greatest totalitarians of the world in the last 20 years. She turned her country into a prison for its residents. She should live in infamy the rest of her life, not talked about glowingly like she saved the world from evil.


But as she leaves office, there will be big geopolitical ramifications as well. China, for one, will be watching events in New Zealand carefully, and will be nervous about whether her successor, whoever that might be, will continue to follow what was Ardern's "China-friendly" foreign policy, a notion which often put her at odds with her Five Eyes allies.

When it comes to the Five Eyes, a US-dominated espionage alliance founded during World War II, New Zealand has been the odd duck, or odd kiwi if you like, when it comes to China. While the United Kingdom, Canada and, for a while, Australia have become hyper aggressive against Beijing and uncritically signed up to the US-led containment agenda, New Zealand under Ardern was different, and opted in many respects to do its own thing.

Report: DOJ permitted Biden's personal attorneys to search for classified documents without FBI

President Joe Biden's Justice Department reportedly permitted the president's personal attorneys to search for classified documents in separate locations without security clearances or the FBI present.

Critics have questioned why Biden's personal attorneys were initially looking for classified documents. Others have questioned why the president's legal team was continuing to search his home Thursday for classified documents after a special counsel was appointed earlier that day.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the initial search, authorized by DOJ, involved people with no security clearance looking for potentially classified material.

The report said:
"Mr. Biden's legal team prepared to search his other properties for any similar documents, and discussed with the Justice Department the prospect of having FBI agents present while Mr. Biden's lawyers conducted the additional searches.

"Instead, the two sides agreed that Mr. Biden's personal attorneys would inspect the homes, notify the Justice Department as soon as they identified any other potentially classified records, and arrange for law-enforcement authorities to take them."

Comment: The DOJ is either complicit or leveraged to ignore such breaches of protocol at the highest level of government.


Comment: Mar-a-Lago was a test run to accuse, assess reactions and explore the ramifications of supposedly hidden sensitive documents timed with the election. It backfired as there was little to find.

So, what is fifth generation warfare and why does it matter?

5th-Gen warfare is an extension of Asymmetric and Insurgent Warfare strategies and tactics, whereby both conventional and unconventional military tactics and weapons are incorporated and deployed, including exploitation of political, religious and social causes. This new gradient of warfare uses the internet, social media and the 24 hour news cycle to change cognitive biases of individuals and/or organizations. It can be conducted by organized or unorganized (ergo decentralized) groups; it may be led by nation states, non-nation state actors and organizations, non-governmental organizations or even individuals. A key characteristic of 5th Gen warfare is that the nature of the attack is concealed. The goal is to disrupt and defeat opponents by creating new cognitive biases.

The most effective 5th Gen warfare strategies employed by those lacking integrity are not purely based on pushing false narratives, mis or dis information. The most effective strategies mix truth with fiction, and act to increase confusion and disorder in the thoughts and minds of those being targeted, so that they are not sure what or whom to believe.

President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that Russia's powerful military-industrial complex was ramping up production and was one of the main reasons why his country would prevail in Ukraine.

Speaking to workers at a factory in St Petersburg that makes air defence systems, Putin said overall military equipment output was rising even as demand for it was growing because of what he calls Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine.
"In terms of achieving the end result and the victory that is inevitable, there are several things ... It is the unity and cohesion of the Russian and multinational Russian people, the courage and heroism of our fighters ... and of course the work of the military-industrial complex and factories like yours and people like you.

"Victory is assured, I have no doubt about it."
Putin said Russian arms companies manufactured about the same number of anti-aircraft missiles as the rest of the world combined, and three times more than the United States.

Germany just upped the pressure on the Biden administration regarding growing calls to send Ukraine M1 Abrams tanks, which the White House has thus far resisted, fearing further escalation with Russia.

It comes as Germany just appointed a new defense minister, Boris Pistorius, after scandal-plagued Christine Lambrecht resigned the day prior, after also long being accused of representing weakness on arming Ukraine. The Scholz government said it will be up for the new defense minister to mull the question of tanks for Ukraine, as Kiev's pleas grow louder.

According to fresh Wall Street Journal reporting:
"Germany won't allow allies to ship German-made tanks to Ukraine to help its defense against Russia nor send its own systems unless the U.S. agrees to send American-made battle tanks, senior German officials said on Wednesday."
Multiple NATO countries have now expressed their willingness to send the highly sophisticated German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine, namely, Poland, Denmark and Finland - but Berlin has to sign off on it first.

Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi has censured "some Europeans" for their attempts to designate an official force as a foreign terrorist organization, stating that the move clearly attests to the mental and political weakness of its architects.

Vahidi, after weekly cabinet meeting in the capital Tehran on Wednesday, told reporters:
"There is no room for concern about the plan, and Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) will strongly press ahead with its path.

"All residents of the [West Asia] region consider themselves indebted to the efforts of the IRGC and late General Soleimani. They wishfully think they can undermine the IRGC, which has a place in the hearts of the public and serves the nation."
He underlined that the decision by a number of Western governments to blacklist the elite force as a terrorist organization contravenes the international regulations, and is a testimony to the mental, moral and political weakness of its engineers. Vahidi praised it as the most important and effective force in the fight against terrorism.

Comment: Accusations are a form of deflection. There is no saving the US from itself.

First: One of the key take aways from the World Economic Forum annual shindig in Davos, Switzerland is when Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed al-Jadaan, on a panel on "Saudi Arabia's Transformation," made it clear that Riyadh "will consider trading in currencies other than the US dollar."

So is the petroyuan finally at hand? Possibly, but Al-Jadaan wisely opted for careful hedging: "We enjoy a very strategic relationship with China and we enjoy that same strategic relationship with other nations including the US and we want to develop that with Europe and other countries."

Second: The Central Banks of Iran and Russia are studying the adoption of a "stable coin" for foreign trade settlements, replacing the US dollar, the ruble and the rial. The crypto crowd is already up in arms, mulling the pros and cons of a gold-backed central bank digital currency (CBDC) for trade that will be in fact impervious to the weaponized US dollar.

Jacinda Ardern will leave her Labour Party without a leader in an election year.

New Zealand's Jacinda Ardern has announced her resignation as Prime Minister and Labour Party leader, saying more than five years in office had left her exhausted and that she did not have the energy needed to continue in the role.

Ardern announced the decision on Thursday afternoon, saying she had reflected on her future as PM during the New Zealand parliament's summer break and determined she would prefer to spend more time with her family.

Comment: Don't let the door hit you on the way out! One wonders if Ardern was perhaps asked to leave given her plunging popularity.

The reality, however, is that "she failed in much that she tried to achieve, and the hero-worship which she enjoyed around the world made things worse by adding to her hubris".
