Western journalists are providing breathless depictions of the harsh conditions facing U.S. basketball star Brittney Griner in Russia. Have none of them been inside a U.S. prison?

All of the major media outlets announced recently that former American women's basketball sensation Brittney Griner had been moved to a "Russian penal colony" after an appellate court rejected the appeal of her conviction and sentence of nine years for trying to smuggle a vial of THC oil into Russia.

The sentence is draconian, but it's not unlike drug sentences here in the United States. But that's not the point that I want to make here. What I do want to point out is the U.S. media's use of the term "Russian penal colony." Other outlets have thrown out the word "gulag," harkening back to the days of Josef Stalin.

NBC News reported that Griner was "transferred to a penal colony, the successor to the infamous Russian gulag." Insider Magazine said that Griner "fears facing inhumane treatment at Russia's penal colonies, where abuse is common, disease, is rampant, and labor is forced."

"We were lied to by everyone. We were lied to by the scientists. We were lied to by Pfizer. We were lied to by the government. We were lied to by the Biden administration ... I don't like being lied to."

Ben Shapiro, who has been an outspoken advocate for the Covid-19 mRNA vaccines, said during his show on Tuesday that he, like many others around the world, had been lied to regarding the efficacy of the vaccines, specifically with regard to their ability to prevent transmission of the novel coronavirus.

On Tuesday's episode of The Ben Shapiro Show, he said, "It is now perfectly clear that we were lied to. And we were lied to at a very high level and from very, very early on by both the vaccine companies, in terms of the ability of the vaccine to prevent transmission, and ... by our politicians who apparently knew better."

Shapiro's stated during the episode that part of what changed his stance was after Pfizer executive Janine Small said in an Oct. 10 hearing before members of the EU that the company didn't know if the Covid-19 mRNA vaccine it had developed would prevent transmission, yet the vaccine was marketed that it would.

Elon Musk is now Twitter's sole director after scrapping the social-media company's nine-person board of directors.

Musk's purchase of Twitter went through on Thursday evening. When first outlining his plans for his ownership of Twitter, Musk said he would need to take the company private to make his desired changes.

"On October 27, 2022, and as a result of the consummation of the Merger, Mr. Musk became the sole director of Twitter," the company wrote in an SEC filing published Monday.

The Atlantic suggests 'Covid deniers' forgive and forget after having been lied to for three years

A new article in the Atlantic published Monday titled "Let's Declare a Pandemic Amnesty" by Emily Oster makes the case that members of the establishment media and so-called "experts" should be forgiven for pushing measures such as social distancing at all times, wearing cloth masks outdoors, and draconian and cruel mandates for school children that left America's youth permanently behind in their education.

On Twitter, many of the people who questioned or outright condemned all of those measures in 2020 are calling Oster out on her request. Jesse Kelly wrote, "Take your 'COVID amnesty' thoughts and shove em somewhere. Don't ever say that to me again. There must be a reckoning. I will not let it go. I will not leave peacefully with people who allowed their fear to turn them into subhumans. No amnesty."

Canada: Alberta's new Premier under attack for refusing to associate with WEF

Recently noted as an opponent of vaccine and mask mandates, new Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is breaking previously established ties with the World Economic Forum, which has been deeply involved in a "health consulting agreement" revolving around the province's covid response.

"I find it distasteful when billionaires brag about how much control they have over political leaders," Smith said at a news conference Monday after her new cabinet was sworn in. "That is offensive ... the people who should be directing government are the people who vote for them."

The United Conservative Party premier said she is in lockstep with federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, who has stated he and his caucus will having nothing to do with the World Economic Forum. Earlier this month, on her first day as premier, Smith stated that people not vaccinated against covid are the most discriminated group she has seen in her lifetime.

In response, the Canadian mainstream media is pursuing a thorough hatchet campaign against Smith, consistently referring to all opposition to the WEF as being based in "conspiracy theory." As they say, if you want to know who is really in power, all you have to do is find out who you are not allowed to criticize.

Economic centralization is the ultimate form of organized conspiratorial power, because it allows a small group of people to dictate the terms of trade for a society and therefore dictate the terms of each person's individual survival.

For example, the Federal Reserve as a banking entity has free rein to assert policy controls that can disrupt the very fabric of the US economy and the buying power of our currency. They can (and do) arbitrarily create trillions of dollars from thin air causing inflation, or arbitrarily raise interest rates and crash stock markets. And according to former Fed chairman Alan Greenspan, they answer to no one, including the US government.

I have started to see a new narrative being spread within mainstream media platforms as well as alternative media platforms suggesting that the Fed is necessary because it is working to "counter" the agenda of Joe Biden and the Democrats. Some people claim the central bank is "protecting" America from the schemes of the UN and European interests.

This is perhaps the most moronic theory I've ever heard, but it makes sense that the central bank and its puppets would be trying to plant the notion that the Fed is some kind of "hero" secretly fighting a war on our behalf. The money elites associated with the Fed have inflated perhaps the largest financial bubble in the history of the world over the past 14 years. They did this with bailouts, they did this with QE, they did this with covid pandemic checks and loans, and now the bubble is popping. They know it is popping, because they WANT it to pop.

On Monday, US Marshalls took into custody Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips of True the Vote, for refusing to identify a confidential informant.

Federal Judge Kenneth Hoyt delivered the order, holding the two in contempt of court for refusing to identify the informant, according to independent journalist Ivory Hecker.

The total cost to British taxpayers is now close to exceeding £2.5 billion a year and is likely only to increase as a processing backlog grows.

The British government is currently spending £6.8 million (€7.84 million) a day on housing prospective asylum seekers and Afghan nationals in hotels across the country, the Home Affairs Select Committee learned on Wednesday.

Hearing testimony from Home Office staff and border chiefs, U.K. lawmakers sitting on the parliamentary committee were briefed that over 38,000 prospective asylum seekers had landed in Britain via the English Channel in 936 small boats so far this year, while a further 28,000 crossing attempts had been thwarted by French authorities.

Manhattan, New York, park roamers made a gruesome discovery Monday of a man hanging from a tree.

Police responded to a 911 call around 7:48 a.m. of a body hanging next to Pier 42 in the East River Greenway, police told the New York Post. The medical examiner's office believes the man aged between 55 and 65 years old hanged himself in an apparent suicide. Police have not released the man's name, according to the outlet.

A hacker from the DNR hacked into the American command and control program of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
A hacker from the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) "Joker" hacked the American command and control program DELTA ("Delta"), which is actively used by the armed forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on November 1 by the head of the press service of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov.

"To be clear, this is a program in which, for command and control, all data on friendly and enemy troops is entered, which are regularly updated with the receipt of intelligence. Very comfortably. The fact that our special services got access to it suggests that we now know everything about the enemy and we know everything that the enemy knows about our forces and means and their deployment, "Bezsonov said in his Telegram channel.

The hacker himself spoke about the hack. He pointed out that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, boasting of the American programs provided to them, "laughed at the Russian troops for using paper maps", so the "Joker" decided to "clear up".
