The U.S. Coast Guard is offering up to $50,000 signing bonuses in an effort to bolster recruitment, after the number of guardsmen has plummeted, in large part due to the military's strict COVID-19 vaccination mandate.

According to internal USCG documents obtained by Fox News Digital from October detailing fiscal year 2023 workforce planning, "Culinary Specialist," or "CS," level recruits could receive bonuses up to $50,000 each.

Active-duty Coast Guard Lt. Chad Coppin called the $50,000 CS-level bonuses, which would involve positions such as cooks, "absolutely unheard of."

Comment: Countries across the planet, particularly those in the West, are knowingly destroying various critical public services, and businesses - including airlines, healthcare and the police force - by continuing to enforce the totalitarian vaccine mandates. And considering the widespread reports of vaccine ineffectiveness, injury and death, it's all the more sinister. Federal prosecutors allege that Johnson submitted two fraudulent PPP loan applications to the Small Business Administration in which he inflated Tea Penny's number of employees and payroll expenses.

The leftist founder and head of a BIPOC Portland charity group is facing federal charges in connection with alleged fraudulent applications for COVID-19 relief funds.

According to court documents, Theodore Johnson of Beaverton, founder of the Ten Penny International Housing Foundation, who has also served as the organization's president, executive director, board chairman, and CEO, was charged with bank fraud after receiving $273,165 in Paycheck Protection Program funds for the nonprofit that provides food, rental assistance, utility aid, and services to BIPOC families and small businesses.

The UK is experiencing a shortage of eggs and the situation is only getting worse, it has been claimed. Shoppers are already seeing empty shelves as avian flu continues to hit the 'broken' egg market.


Comment: As we'll see further below this is only part of the story, because, according to one egg farmer, supermarkets are refusing to pay the production price for eggs - which have been hit by soaring feed and fuel costs - and, in turn, farmers can't afford to sell them without making a loss.


Signs seen in Sainsbury's and Wetherspoons report supply problems, and some shoppers in Aldi have also struggled to pick up their favourite dozen. According to two suppliers, the shortage stretches up and down the country.

John Moore, from Knowl End Farm, in Todmorden, said: "There are massive issues. There is a very big shortage of eggs and supermarkets and suppliers are short of eggs which is forcing the price up and up and up. The cost of an egg is twice what it was six months ago and it will continue to rise. It will get to a point where people stop using eggs."


Comment: It has been noted elsewhere that the price of eggs is particularly volatile even at the best of times, however economies are evidently struggling a whole variety of issues which, taken together, reveals that these are unprecedented times, and it may be that the egg price and shortage is yet another of the early warning signs.

People who don't identify as the gender they were assigned at birth are able to withhold their previous name and their biological sex when applying for jobs in settings like schools, nurseries and hospitals.

Transgender people, unlike others who have changed their names, have to personally notify officials of their past identities, a report by Keep Prisons Single Sex has found.

While they are still legally required to inform the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) of their current and previous identities, the report author has told the Telegraph that it 'destroys confidence in the system' by putting the onus on the individual.

Authorities in Ukraine's capital city, Kiev, are reportedly working on a contingency plan that anticipates the evacuation of approximately three million of its remaining residents, should power supply become completely cut off, a local official has told The New York Times.

The article published on Saturday quoted Roman Tkachuk, the director of security for the Kiev municipal government, as having warned that the city "may lose our entire electricity system," if Russia continues striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

According to the report, Kiev authorities expect that, if worse comes to worst, they would have at least 12 hours' notice before the grid collapses completely. Tkachuk explained that if there are signs of imminent failure, "we will start informing people and requesting them to leave."

Nine people were shot after multiple gunmen opened fire outside a bar in Philadelphia Saturday night.
