A US mother says her family were "treated like dogs" and "deliberately" kept from their flight by Dallas Fort Worth International Airport security, who carried out a pat down screening on her child.

Jennifer Williamson's angry Facebook post said her family had "been through hell" after her son Aaron - who suffers from a neurological disorder - was pulled aside by agents from the Transportation Security Administration and subjected to a security screening.

Williamson said TSA agents delayed the boy for over an hour, thus missing their flight and being re-routed.

A man tried to break into the Islamic Center of Fort Collins with rocks, outdoor furniture, and even a Bible, resulting in heavy damage to the building's doors and exterior. About 1,000 people gathered later in the day to show support.

At about 4:00am local time on Sunday, a man did "quite a bit of damage" to the Islamic Center of Fort Collins, the center said on its Facebook page. The vandal threw large rocks and other objects to break glass doors outside a prayer room, though he did not enter the building.

No one was in the facility at the time of the incident. No injuries have been reported, according to local news outlets.

Study reveals Britain's poorest children constantly moving house and going hungry

Children growing up in Britain's poorest families are frequently made to move home, travel long distances to school and spend extended periods indoors because of how unsafe their neighborhoods are.

In a new study, the Children's Society interviewed 60 children on the problems of living in a low-income family.

It found that although poverty affected younger children's social development, the situation became worse for teenagers, as many of them are going hungry in school.

Video of TSA agent molesting a boy exposes the sick nature of the US police state

TSA agent patting down child
The TSA — one of America's most corrupt and incompetent agencies whose ostensible job is fighting terrorism — is apparently so unsatisfied with the mere ability to strip search babies, remove colostomy bags, beat up blind cancer patients, and fondle your genitalia, that they announced a more invasive physical pat-down earlier this month. The pat-downs, which TSA warned would probably prompt assault complaints with the police department because of their invasive nature, are now apparently being implemented. And a new video uploaded to Facebook this week shows the horrifying result.

Jennifer Williamson and her son Aaron were traveling through the DFW airport this weekend when they were targeted by power-tripping TSA agents and police. Apparently, Williamson's young son, who has Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), was deemed a threat by 'security' and pulled off to the side for extra screening. Scared for her and her son's safety, Williamson filmed the interaction. The result is nothing short of infuriating.

A woman in her 20s was burnt alive by a group of villagers in northern India for protesting the cutting of trees on her family's farm to widen a road, according to local reports.

The woman, identified in local media as 'Lalita', had objected to the trees being cleared in the village of Hariyadhana, in the Rajasthan district. She was reportedly doused with petrol and set on fire Saturday by a group of people and died from her injuries in hospital on Sunday.

"The dispute was over a road, my sister was opposing it...they poured petrol on her and set her on fire," the woman's brother said after the attack.

One mother's chilling close encounter with a team of child abductors

child abductors
After reading this article, you will never be careless with your child in a public place ever again. There really are predators out there that make a lot of money abducting children. Some of the children that are abducted are abused, tortured or even killed inside the United States, but many others are quickly sent to the nearest port, shipped overseas, and ultimately used for some of the most horrific purposes that you can possibly imagine. So if your child is kidnapped by professional traffickers, there is a chance that your precious little one could end up on the other side of the planet.

I want to share with you something that was originally posted by Amanda Cropsey Florczykowski on Facebook. When people read the account of what almost happened to her two-year-old daughter, they can't stop talking about it. This post has already been shared more than 169,000 times on Facebook, and my hope is that we can get that number to multiply by bringing as much exposure to this story as possible. Unless you have no emotional feeling left at all, what Amanda has shared about what almost happened to her daughter will send chills up your spine...

Brazen thieves make off with 100 Kilogram Gold Coin Worth $4.5 Million from Germany's Bode Museum

Perhaps even more brazen than the infamous theft of a bucket full of gold woth $1.6 million from an armored truck in broad daylight in Midtown Manhattan last September 29, moments ago local German press has reported that thieves broke into Berlin's Bode Museum and made off with a massive 100-kilogram (221-pound) gold coin worth millions.

According to German media, the stolen coin is the "Big Maple Leaf", a commemorative piece issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 2007. The three-centimeter (1.18-inch) thick coin, with a diameter of 53 centimeters (20.9 inches), has a face value of $1 million. By weight alone, however, it would be worth almost $4.5 million at market prices.

Ponerization: The CIA's corrupting influence on American intellectuals

CIA insig
How persistent and how strange is the look backward upon the intellectual life of the Cold War. The New York Times A3 page, Mar.5, carried this teaser, "The C.I.A. once ran a covert operation to publish a literary magazine, Encounter, as a propaganda exercise." The relevant piece, in T, the Style Magazine, happens to be rather different. "The Joys of Propaganda," by Andrew O'Hagan, is a shorty, touched by nostalgia for a simpler age of lies and half truths purported to be something other than False News - a distinction that remains elusive. A mere paid propaganda exercise, those old Cold War literary efforts? Actually, O'Hagan explains, it was a high minded effort to win the masses over from Communism by way of modernism, emphatically including poetry!

The contrast with the miseries of present day vulgarity is all too obvious. "The impulse to choose a side and press its case with wily elegance" is now gone, obviously. And badly missed—although no one who chose the other side seems to have possessed similar "wily elegance," notwithstanding the fame, reputation and readership of antiwar and anti-imperialist Leftwing (if not necessarily Communist) novelists, poets, screenwriters and so on hounded for their views and often enough, also their art. In the same issue of T, the hysterically Islamophobic French playboy-philosopher, Bernard-Henri Levi, has a lush photo and a page to talk about his favorite subject, himself. (He no longer highlights his enthusiasm for the US invasion of Iraq.) Perhaps things have not changed quite as much as our aesthete commentator laments.

First British female fighting in Syria against ISIS, says MI5 targeting her family

Kimberley

The first British female fighter to join the battle against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in Syria says UK intelligence agency MI5 is targeting her family, who are now "afraid for their own safety."

Kimberley Taylor, 27, has been fighting alongside the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), an all-female affiliate of the People's Protection Units (YPG), in Syrian Kurdistan. She is part of the 'Rojava revolution', a left-wing Kurdish movement in northern Syria. Taylor, from Liverpool, claims her mother, father, stepfather and sister have been visited by counterterrorism police at their homes in Prescot and Chorley.

Their laptops and phones were confiscated and have still not been returned, a month after they were seized, says Taylor, who also goes by the name Zilan Dilmar. "One month later, [police] still haven't been given anything back. This means that we haven't been able to have contact for all this time and their stress levels about my safety must be sky high," she told the BBC.

"My family are now not only afraid for my safety ... they are now also afraid for their own safety from the British establishment, which they do not see the reasons or aims behind," Taylor, a former University of Liverpool math student, added. "Their actions aren't justified at all. The British establishment are playing political games. This is not about controlling terrorist threats, this is about frightening people who want to change for the world and Britain too."

Comment: Nullify/insulate the public by fear and division while proving invasive security is on the job. Taylor and family are a designated example to keep the home crowd at home and out of the way. Can't have people discovering truth and realities from an inconvenient heroine.

From Daily Mail:
In an interview with Sky News in Syria last month, Miss Taylor said:
'The operation of Raqqa is a chance to tell our ideology, tell the reality of the revolution to the outside world. I see this as maybe the last step towards Daesh [Islamic State] being finished. And for that reason it's really important that we create diplomacy for outside. We take this chance now that everybody is listening to tell our ideology, to tell our revolution.'
This on Facebook:
'Life is powerful. Revolutionary women together on frontline. We are unstoppable. Soon I should be [re] joining the Raqqa operation. The capital city where ISIS keeps Yezidi children and forces them into sex slavery . . . together we are women liberating women. This is history in the making . . .'

Man sentenced to 5 years in prison for taping dog's mouth shut

A South Carolina man who wrapped electrical tape around a dog's muzzle to stop her from barking has been sentenced to five years in prison.

Media outlets report William Dodson's sentence Friday represented the state's maximum for animal cruelty. However, Dodson's sentence for mistreating Caitlyn won't extend his prison time.

The 43-year-old North Charleston man was sentenced a day earlier in federal court to 15 years on a gun charge stemming from a traffic stop months before Caitlyn was found in spring 2015. Under a plea agreement, the two sentences will run simultaneously.

"I wish I could give you more," Judge Markley Dennis told Dodson in court Friday.

Still, the sentence sends a message that animal cruelty won't be tolerated, said Aldwin Roman, Charleston Animal Society's director of anti-cruelty and outreach.
