A leading representative of a group of Jewish Labour Party members has described as "unacceptable" claims by a former minister that Jeremy Corbyn was a "f****** anti-Semite," and demanded an apology on RT's Going Underground.

Richard Kuper, co-founder of Jewish Voice for Labour said the alleged accusation made by Barking MP Margaret Hodge was "absurd" and maintained that the Labour leader "is not and has never been an anti-Semite or a racist." Hodge has since denied using the expletive.

He also called for the former minister to apologize to Corbyn for what he called "unacceptable behavior."

Comment: To be sure, Corbyn is a thorn in the side of the old British elite.

Amazon leaves workers to suffer after warehouse injuries

Guardian investigation reveals numerous cases of Amazon workers being treated in ways that leave them homeless, unable to work or bereft of income after workplace accidents

Vickie Shannon Allen, 49, started working at Amazon as a counter in a fulfillment warehouse at Haslet, Texas, in May 2017. At first, like many employees, Allen was excited by the idea of working for one of the fastest growing corporations in the world. That feeling dissipated quickly after a few months.

"I noticed managers would ask you questions all the time about any bathroom breaks, performance and productivity. What they do is code your time, and they are allowed to change it at will. To me, that's how they get rid of people," Allen said.

Amazon is now the world's most valuable retailer. Its customers are served by over 140 fulfillment centers like the one where Allen worked across the US. The revenues from these centers have made founder Jeff Bezos the world's richest man - Bezos' net worth recently crossed the $150bn, making him the wealthiest person in history, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

In the meantime, Allen has become homeless after a workplace accident left her unable to do her job.

Nor is Allen alone. A Guardian investigation has revealed numerous cases of Amazon workers suffering from workplace accidents or injuries in its gigantic warehouse system and being treated in ways that leave them homeless, unable to work or bereft of income.

Comment: Here's a small sample of what they're so "proud" of: One would think after making billions in profits they could improve work conditions there.

European Union has condemned Israel's new apartheid law

The European Union is concerned by Israel's new law defining a Jewish nation-state, protesting that it is discriminatory and will hinder a two-state solution.

The European Union expressed concern over the national law that was approved by the Israeli Knesset July 19. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini clarified that the law grants Jews alone the right to self-determination in the country and will hinder a two-state solution.

"We've been very clear when it comes to the two-state solution, we believe it is the only way forward and any step that would further complicate or prevent this solution of becoming a reality should be avoided," stated Mogherini July 19.

The Jewish nation-state law reads: "Israel is the historic homeland of the Jewish people and they have an exclusive right to national self-determination in it." It demotes Arabic from an official language to a secondary language. There are 1.8 million Arabs in Israel, 20% of the total Israeli population of 9 million people.

Comment: So long as the US has Israel's back (and that's guaranteed by AIPAC lobby money) Bibi and his fellow psychopaths will simply disregard any bleating from the EU. Money is the only way to influence Israel, just as it was for South Africa. Kudos to Ireland for implementing at least a partial ban on Israeli products. But it will take a lot more than that.

A young Paris resident has spoken out against sexual harassment after she was filmed being viciously assaulted by a man whom she told to "shut up" after he wolf-whistled at her.

Marie Laguerre has released CCTV footage of the moment she was hit in the face by a stranger as she walked home in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. She said the incident perfectly illustrates the dangers women face every day.

"It is time for this kind of behavior to end," Laguerre said. "Harassment is every day."

Laguerre had a chance encounter with her attacker on Boulevard de la Villette. She said he cat-called at her, whistled and made "dirty noises." When the 22-year-old shot back at the man his behavior turned violent.

Transgender 'woman' murders grandmother with a knife, media decides she's a 'man'

transgender killer
When is a transgender woman not a woman?

Apparently, when she kills her own grandmother, at which point "she" magically returns to being a "he"!

From AZ Family, "Police: Man killed 81-year-old grandmother because he was tired of caring for her":
A 30-year-old Arizona man was arrested after police said he killed his grandmother because he was tired of caring for her.

Officers arrived at an apartment complex in Chandler early Sunday morning and found 81-year-old Helen Smith dead. Her grandson, Brandon Smith, was later arrested and charged with first-degree in connection with her death.

According to Chandler police, Brandon was frustrated that he was the only one in the family taking care of Helen, who suffered from dementia.
How can they all the sudden call this *obvious* woman a man?

Comment: Zero. Left-wing activists only care if they get to attack Trump or conservatives. In this case, the media adhering to someone's preferred personal pronouns only matters when it suits their agenda. Otherwise, they don't care.

The personnel chief of the Federal Emergency Management Agency - who resigned just weeks ago - is under investigation after being accused of creating an atmosphere of widespread sexual harassment over years in which women were hired as possible sexual partners for male employees, the agency's leader said Monday.

The alleged harassment and other misconduct, revealed through a preliminary seven-month internal investigation, was a "systemic problem going on for years," said FEMA Administrator William "Brock" Long. Some of the behavior could rise to the level of criminal activity, he said.

Some of the claims about the agency's former personnel chief are detailed in a written executive summary of the investigation provided to The Washington Post. FEMA officials provided other details and confirmed that the individual under investigation, whose name was redacted from the report, is Corey Coleman, who led the personnel department from 2011 until his resignation in June.

Russia will continue supplying RD-180 rocket engines, which are used by NASA and the Pentagon, to the United States until at least 2020.

"We signed the contract until 2020, and we will supply our partners with six more RD-180 engines," said Igor Arbuzov, CEO of Russia's Energomash. The RD-180 engines operate at the first stage of the US Atlas V rockets.

The cheaper and more reliable RD-180 engine is developed and manufactured by Energomash and is designed for the US Atlas carrier rockets. The contract was extended by Energomash and United Launch Alliance (ULA), a private supplier to the Pentagon and NASA.

Iranian rial plummets to record low against dollar - central bank blames 'nation's enemies'

The unofficial rate of the Iranian rial plummeted to a record low of 112,000 rials against the dollar on concerns over the imminent return of full US sanctions.

The rial has lost more than a half of its value against the dollar in just four months, having fallen to the 50,000-mark for the first time in March. Iranians have been trying to buy more US currency on the black market for fear the economy can collapse when the US sanctions return.

In an attempt to curb currency speculation which has led to the rial collapse, the Iranian central bank unified the official and unregulated exchange rates. However, there have been reports that black market vendors are inflating the costs of goods imported in US dollars.

Over two-thirds of Russians approve of Vladimir Putin's performance as president, and almost half believe the country is developing in the right direction, an independent opinion poll has revealed.

The Levada Center published the results of an opinion poll on Tuesday, which showed that 67 percent of Russians approve of the actions of President Vladimir Putin. Some 32 percent of respondents said they were not satisfied with Putin's performance, and one percent found the question too complicated to answer.

This differs significantly from Putin's 82 percent approval rating that was recorded in April, between the president's re-election and swearing in for a new presidential term. In the same poll, 17 percent of Russians disapproved of Putin's work, while one percent remained undecided.
