Ridiculous! New York health dept shuts down 7-year-old's unlicensed lemonade stand

As 2018's summer of snitches continues, a story out of New York shows just how well the see something say something propaganda is working on society. Multiple vendors at a state fair in Ballston Spa, New York called government officials last month to have a nearby lemonade stand-run by a 7-year-old boy-shut down.

As TFTP reported in June, the Country Time lemonade company launched a campaign pledging to pay fines and permit fees for young entrepreneurs who are reprimanded by the police state for their harmless refreshment stands.

The story below proves why that campaign was so desperately needed.

The vendors who called the state Department of Health were either completely brainwashed by the state into thinking the boy was committing a crime, or they-like so many other corporate welfare leeches do-were using the state to shut down their competition. Either way, the state did their part.

Two killed, four injured after shooter fires high-powered weapon from passing van in Philadelphia

Philadelphia drive by shooting
Two people have been killed and at least four more injured in a shooting in North Philadelphia, after someone reportedly opened fire with a "high-powered" weapon from a mini-van passing by.

"From the evidence out here it appears to be a large caliber weapon, possibly a high powered rifle," Philadelphia Police commissioner Richard Ross said, as cited by NBC Philadelphia.

A total of six people suffered gunshot wounds after at least 11 shots were fired from inside a light-colored minivan on the southeast corner of 12th and Huntingdon streets around 9:50pm.

Two people, a man and woman aged 34 and 32, have died, while at least one of the surviving victims remains in critical condition.

The number of hate crimes committed against Jews in Germany has increased by more than 10 percent, new official figures reveal. This includes recent violent assaults, which are mostly attributed to neo-Nazi groups.

Amid a string of reported assaults on members of the Jewish community, the German left-wing parliamentary party Die Linke demanded police reveal the number of anti-Semitic crimes.

According to the figures released, there were 401 offences between January and June this year, including 12 violent crimes. A majority (349) were at the hands of neo-Nazi and other far-right groups. One in five attacks took place in the German capital Berlin.

It comes amid a recent resurgence of anti-Semitism in the country, as reports emerged over the past few months of Jews being threatened, beaten and bullied because of their background.

Comment: As the societies of the West and those of its allies deteriorate further, it seems crimes against all sections of society are on the rise:

How Chinese tech girl Naomi Wu got royally screwed by Sarah Jeong, Jason Koebler, and Vice Magazine

Naomi Wu Sexy cyborg
Me in better times, excited by some new fiber optic cables.

Translator and proofreader's note: There are large parts of this document that don't parse well either from Chinese or from Naomi's written English into more fluent English. In trying to do so, some of the emotion that Naomi is trying to convey would be lost. I've left those passages as originally written in her own English because there was simply no way to clean them up without losing her intent.

Part 1 : Vice

I'm Naomi Wu a DIY and tech enthusiast in Shenzhen, China. Nine months ago Vice Magazine contacted me for an interview. A lot has been written about that, very little by me.

I've avoided writing about my experience with Sarah Jeong, Jason Koebler, and Vice Magazine in detail because I can't explain the whole story the way I want to. I can't really blame anyone who is unfamiliar with China's issues, who might say "Naomi, I don't see what's the big deal" or think I'm nuts, or who may've otherwise been unable to connect the few dots that I've provided. I'm sorry for being vague about my full side of it, but one day I'll be able to write every detail and things will be clearer. In the meantime, this is what I can write, and again, I'm very sorry it's so incomplete.

Comment: Again and again, Vice Magazine proves themselves to be complete amateurs playing at being real journalists. They don't practice journalism, they smear. Witness their interview with Jordan Peterson for a good indication of how Vice practices "journalism". They're lower than BuzzFeed. That Sarah Jeong came in to throw her weight behind Vice's position is also unsurprising.

In historic vote, Italy dumps mandatory vaccination

Italy Matteo Salvini
League leader Matteo Salvini called required vaccines "useless" and said they were "in many cases dangerous, if not harmful".

Now, they won't be required.

By a vote of 148 to 110 in the upper house of parliament, Italy has squashed mandatory vaccine laws and aims to be "more inclusive."

The 10 required vaccinations for preschools or nurseries are now suspended, at least in terms of mandatory laws.

Comment: Nice to see Italy acting with some sense. Regardless of how you feel about vaccines, the idea that any medical procedure should be mandatory is essentially medical fascism. People should have the right to choose the medical procedures that are best for themselves and their families.

Snowflakes 'furious' after Berkeley police tweet mugshots of Antifa 'activists'

Police in Berkeley, California have been criticized for tweeting out mugshots of left-wing antifa activists arrested on Sunday at a protest against a right-wing rally.

The arrests took place as left-wing Antifa protesters clashed with a right-wing 'No to Marxism' rally in the city's Civic Center Park. After being criticized for failing to prevent violence at a similar event last year, police managed to keep both groups separated, and only minor scuffles broke out.

Several vehicles had their tires slashed, trash cans were set on fire, and one Antifa protester smashed the window of a US Marine Corps recruiting office with a hammer.

Jews only: Israel stokes tensions by banning Muslims from Ibrahimi mosque for Jewish holidays

Hebron's Ibrahimi mosque
The Israeli authorities have decided to shut down the Ibrahimi mosque, in the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron, for Muslims and non-Jewish visitors allowing only Jews into the holy site, for Jewish holidays.

The Acting Head of Hebron Endowment, Jalal al-Rajabi, said that the Israeli authorities will shut down the site from 10 p.m. Wednesday until 10 p.m. Thursday, pointing out that the doors of the mosque will open to Muslim worshipers on Friday for the call to prayer.

Al-Rajabi added that the Muslim call to prayer will also be banned during the shutdown period.

BuzzFeed cheers YouTube for tagging wrong-think videos with liberal propaganda

PragerU screen grab

YouTube is now adding fact checks to videos that question climate change, BuzzFeed News has confirmed, as a part of its ongoing effort to combat the rampant misinformation and conspiratorial fodder on its platform.

On July 9, the company added a blurb of text underneath some videos about climate change, which provided a scientifically accurate explainer. The text comes from the Wikipedia entry for global warming and states that "multiple lines of scientific evidence show that the climate system is warming."

This new feature follows YouTube's announcement in March that it would place descriptions from Wikipedia and Encyclopedia Britannica next to videos on topics that spur conspiracy theories, such as the moon landing and the Oklahoma City bombing. In doing the same for climate videos, the company seems to be wading into more fraught and complex intellectual territory.

Comment: It seems that YouTube is going into overdrive in dropping all pretext of neutrality and pushing a particular viewpoint, which just happens to agree wholeheartedly with the mainstream liberal narrative. The ongoing battle for eliminating 'wrong-think' is being taken to a new level. Given the recent ousting of Alex Jones from their platform, this insertion of propaganda into videos that question the mainstream narrative is likely just the first step in YouTube's path to a wholly partisan platform. Eventually, YouTube will be indistinguishable from CNN.
