Lawsuit seeks to reveal Jeffrey Epstein's pedophile circle involving prominent US politicians and world leaders

Epstein pedophelia
A federal lawsuit is seeking to expose a sex abuse ring of "prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, foreign presidents, a well-known prime minister, and other world leaders."

The long-awaited trial could potentially reveal more secrets of Epstein's alleged sex rings, including the possible involvement of high profile politicians, celebrities, and royalty.

A lawsuit against convicted sex offender and billionaire Jeffrey Epstein is scheduled to begin December 4th in Palm Beach County Circuit Court. If the trial is not further delayed or a settlement is not reached the public may learn more details of Epstein's disturbing pedophile adventures. Epstein is well known for his connections to many powerful businessmen, politicians, and royalty. Some of his friends include Prince Andrew, Duke of York, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump.

The upcoming trial relates to an ongoing legal battle between Epstein and lawyer Bradley Edwards. In 2008, Edwards successfully sued Epstein on behalf of women who claimed he paid them to massage while he masturbated. All of the women were teenagers at the time.

Refugee death rate in Mediterranean reaches highest levels since 2015

The U.N. attributed most of the deaths to the "decreased search and rescue capacity off the Libyan coast this year."

Refugee and migrants aid groups sounded the alarm over the latest report by the United Nations warning that the death rate for the migration crisis in the Mediterranean Sea has reached its highest level since 2015. One person drowned for every 18 migrants who reached Italy by boat for the first seven months this year, according to data released by the United Nations on Monday.

The death toll is nearly triple the rate during the same period in 2015 and double that from the following year, despite the fact that unauthorized migration along the route has dropped to its lowest level.

"A major factor contributing to the increased death rate is the decreased search and rescue capacity off the Libyan coast this year compared to the same period last year," the United Nations refugee agency said in its report.

Moscow's Zaryadye Park has landed a spot on TIME's "World's Greatest Places" list, with the magazine highlighting its boomerang-shaped bridge and ice cave. It's the first large-scale public park to be built in Moscow in 50 years.

The park, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro -the same architects behind New York's High Line- in collaboration with Hargreaves Associates and Citymakers, has hosted nearly 10 million people since opening in September 2017.

Ronan Farrow slams NBC after exec sends out memo defending decision to scuttle Weinstein sex abuse story

NBC News chairman Andy Lack has defended his network's decision not to air Ronan Farrow's Harvey Weinstein expose, insisting that the story 'wasn't ready to air' at the time
Ronan Farrow has hit out at NBC after the network's embattled chairman Andy Lack sent out a lengthy memo to staff defending his decision to drop Farrow's explosive story that would expose Harvey Weinstein's lecherous ways.

Following months of scrutiny, Lack sent the memo and an 11-page 'fact sheet' to NBC staff on Labor Day that pushed back on claims it tried to kill Farrow's story.

In a unique move for a media outlet, the memo included excerpts of Farrow's draft story script, a timeline of his reporting and also descriptions of the network's interactions with Weinstein and his lawyers while the investigation was going on.

In a statement on Twitter late Monday, Farrow said the memo contained 'numerous false or misleading statements'.

Honeymoon is over: Macron's popularity taking a nosedive after 'disastrous' summer of scandals and 'royal' behavior

Fewer people support Emmanuel Macron than predecessors at the same stage of their presidencies, according to a poll. It comes amid resignation of a minister, a bodyguard scandal and discontent over the leader's lavish lifestyle.

Only 31 percent of the French population is satisfied with the policies of their leader, who once said he wanted to be a 'Jupiterian' leader, the newly-released survey shows. It comes from IFOP, an international polling and market research firm, made for Paris Match magazine and Sud radio station.

The magazine insists that this summer was "disastrous" and even "murderous" for the centrist politician, adding that 31 percent is "the worst score" for him.

After just 16 months into his term a shadow seems to have fallen over France's 'Jupiter'. Macron's approval rating is 1 percent lower than the one of his predecessors - François Hollande at approximately the same time of his presidency, according to IFOP.

Nike shares nosedive and protesters burn their gear after Colin Kaepernick ad campaign

Nike's shares have dropped 2 percent after the company's decision to use Colin Kaepernick as the face of a new ad campaign, though the step has proved idiocy still knows no bounds as protesters 'boycott' and sabotage merchandise.

Kaepernick was recently announced as one of the faces of Nike's 30th anniversary "Just Do It" campaign, posting a black-and-white close-up of himself on Instagram on Monday featuring the Nike logo and "Just do it" slogan, along with the quote: "Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything."

As a direct result, it has been reported that shares in the Oregon-based Nike Inc. fell more than 2 percent, reportedly as much as around 2.85 percent. That is as a boycott has been strongly mooted online.

Comment: In response to the news from Nike, The Fraternal Order of Police made a very strong statement against the decision:
"If Nike chooses to create an ad campaign featuring a former quarterback who describes cops as 'pigs' and makes large donations to the family of a convicted cop killer and wanted fugitive, Joanne Chesimard, who murdered New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster in cold blood in 1973, they are free to do so."

After nearly 150 suspected illegal aliens were arrested at an Ohio meatpacking plant, 13 illegal aliens have been charged with using fraudulent identities to appear as though they were working in the United States legally.

In June, 146 suspected illegal aliens - primarily from Guatemala - were arrested at the Fresh Mark meatpacking plant in Salem and Massillon, Ohio in one of the largest worksite Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids of the year.

Since the ICE raid, 13 illegal aliens have now been hit with federal charges for allegedly using fake identities to gain employment at Fresh Mark, Cleveland.com reports.

All but two of the 13 illegal aliens charged are from Guatemala. The other two illegal aliens are from Mexico.

No charges for cop who admitted to pistol-whipping unarmed man and shooting him in the back of the head

Detective Brandon Potts
We at TFTP hear it all the time from the apologists. "There's always at least one bad apple in every bunch," they tell us. But when the system fails, which is supposed to weed out the bad apples, the entire police department is corrupted. Such is the case in the shooting death of an unarmed 26-year-old, Daniel Fuller, according to Fuller's family and Detective Brandon Potts own service record.

On July 5th, multiple members of the community called 911 to report a man who was going from trailer to trailer, attempting to break into homes. When police officers arrived, Fuller ran, eventually found hiding in grass near the train tracks. Police say Fuller did not immediately surrender and was resisting arrest when Potts was forced to shoot and kill the young man. He was unarmed and his family says he was trying to surrender when the detective pistol-whipped him and shot him in the back of the head.

As TFTP has consistently reported, officers who wish to teach a suspect a lesson will in unison begin yelling "stop resisting". After doing so, the officers will often times beat a suspect, attempt to break bones or joints, and rough them up, all done under the guise that the perpetrator is "resisting arrest".

Because the officers are yelling "stop resisting", bystanders also conclude a suspect is resisting and therefore somehow deserves the beat down they're receiving. But it's a carefully orchestrated psychological tactic designed to escalate the use of force, seemingly allowing the officer(s) to take out their own frustrations and anger onto suspects.

An exhausted moose who had just crossed a Vermont lake drowned over the weekend after a group of people crowded around the animal to take pictures, scaring it back into the water.

Local wildlife officials said the moose had just swam across Lake Champlain from New York to South Hero in Vermont on Saturday - a journey moose don't often survive - and was forced back into the water shortly after he made it onto land by people drawing close.

ISM: American manufacturers growing fastest pace in 14 years

ISM manufacturing index leaps to 61.3% in August.

The numbers: American manufacturers are on a roll: Business conditions surged in August to a 14-year high, according to a a survey of industry executives.

The Institute for Supply Management said its manufacturing index jumped to a 14-year high of 61.3% last month from 58.1% in July. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch had forecast the index to total 57.9%.

Readings over 50% indicate more companies are expanding instead of shrinking.

What happened: The ISM's new-orders index climbed 3.2 points to 65.1% and the employment gauge rose 2 points to 58.5%. Some 16 of the 18 industries tracked by ISM reported expanding in August.

The ISM index is compiled from a survey of executives who order raw materials and other supplies for their companies. The gauge tends to rise or fall in tandem with the health of the economy.

Big picture: Growth in the U.S. economy exploded in the spring and the third quarter that got underway in July is also shaping up to be a good one. The economy is firing on almost all cylinders, though the persistent threat of a broader trade war continues to threaten recent gains.
