Violent clashes have erupted in the Israeli city of Bnei Brak and some areas of Jerusalem as authorities tried to enforce Covid-19 lockdown rules on ultra-Orthodox Jewish communities and break up 'illegal' prayer gatherings.

Hundreds of people in the ultra-Orthodox city of Bnei Brak defied the latest ban on gatherings in enclosed spaces and restriction of outdoor prayers to groups of 20 or less on Sunday.

When the officers arrived and started slapping violators with fines for not wearing masks or 'social-distancing', some of them "began resisting and disturbing public order," resulting in chaotic scuffles according to multiple videos shared online.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement on Monday that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, but is experiencing no symptoms at present.

"After testing negative consistently, including every day since Thursday, I tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning while experiencing no symptoms," McEnany said.

"No reporters, producers, or members of the press are listed as close contacts by the White House Medical Unit," McEnany said, adding that she was going into quarantine following the diagnosis.

Comment: McEnany is the 9th person on Trump's team to test positive for coronavirus.

Global economy faces its 'worst state in a century' - business leaders call for urgent reforms

© Simon Dawson | Bloomberg | Getty ImagesA “Store Closing” sign is displayed in the window of a store at the Elephant And Castle Shopping Centre in London, U.K., on Sept. 24, 2020. The shopping center is being closed to make way for a Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment’s venture to build almost 1,000 homes, a new college campus and stores.
Top business leaders say the global economy is facing its worst crisis in a hundred years, and "downside risks remain elevated" unless urgent reforms are enacted during the G-20 summit hosted by Saudi Arabia in November.

"The global economy is in its worst state in a century," warned Yousef Al-Benyan, chairman of the Business Twenty (B20), a group made up of high-level CEOs from around the world. "The challenging opportunity is to build back better, with real urgency required from policymakers and business leaders," he added.

The B20 is an engagement group that seeks to represent the voice of the global business community across all member states and economic sectors in the Group of 20.

Shocking footage showing a man kicking a teenage girl in the face because she was not wearing a mask on a bus near Birmingham has unleashed a public outcry and prompted an investigation by the police.

The video begins with a middle-aged couple and a teenage girl embroiled in argument over masks, as the girl does not have hers on. At one point, prior to the beginning of the video, one of the pair allegedly told the girl to "go back to her own country."

"All I'm saying is put your mask on! I'm not being racist, but the virus is more common in black and Asians. Put your f**king mask on," the man can be heard saying in the video of the October 1 incident.

Racism in Canada: 'We're always treated differently': Relative of Indigenous Canadian woman sworn at on deathbed by Quebec medics

The fate of Joyce Echaquan, an Indigenous woman whose final hours were spoiled by humiliating slurs, isn't unique as native Canadians are stigmatized everywhere, her cousin told RT as anti-racism rallies are held nationwide.

Canada's Indigenous people are "always treated differently, and it doesn't depend on whether it's a public service or a shop or anything else," Reginald Echaquan told RT days after his cousin Joyce died in Joliette, about 70km north of Montreal.

Echaquan, a 37-year-old mother of seven, suddenly felt unwell and was admitted to a Joliette hospital with stomach pain in late-September. The drama unfolded last Monday, when the woman went live on Facebook, posting an extremely disturbing video that showed her screaming in clear distress and moaning in pain.

Pedophiles & violent criminals receive shorter prison sentences as UK justice system struggles to adjust to Covid-19

Criminals in the United Kingdom, including violent offenders, are receiving reduced sentences due to courts taking into account strict coronavirus regimes in the country's prisons, The Times has revealed.

British judges have shown leniency since April, after a court ruled that measures implemented to prevent the spread of coronavirus at detention facilities, including extended periods of isolation, could be considered when handing down a sentence. The case involved a man who sexually abused a schoolgirl, the paper reported.

Mercy was also given to a sex offender who was caught trying to groom an underage girl. In July he was jailed for a mere 20 months, apparently because the judge had concerns about the restrictive coronavirus policies adopted by prisons.

Lighter sentences are also being given to violent criminals. In September, two masked burglars who broke into a home and terrorized a family received reduced prison terms because the judge acknowledged that the thugs would have to spend 23 hours a day in their cells due to Covid-19 rules.

America is in throes of unrest unlike any in our 244-year history as our (un)civil war escalates towards the real thing

Nearly two thirds of Americans believe the US is on course for civil war. One third now support political violence. The first Civil War's death toll won't be beaten, but the second's nation-destroying potential will be unequalled.

The American left and right no longer inhabit a common moral universe. In fact, that imagined universe does not exist. The old, cherished political notions no longer apply, if they ever did. Not only are the terms 'left' and 'right' complete misnomers under the current configuration, but the players are not as they seem, or as they are made out to seem.

Good idea! Germany's Extra-Parliamentary Corona Investigative Commission launching a class action suit against corona criminals

Dr. Reiner Fuellmich, lawyer of ACU
Germany is again in the forefront in fighting the devastating, unjustified, illegal, economy-destructive, people debilitating and outright genocidal Corona Measures. The German COVID-19 Extra-Parliamentary Inquiry Committee - in German - ACU - German acronym for Ausserparlamentarischer Corona Untersuchungsausschuss - (see diagram from ACU2020.org website, on the left) is planning to launch a Class Action Suit against not only governments and government officials, but specifically against the manufacturers of the infamous PCR test (PCR - Polymerase Chain Reaction - is a technique used to "amplify" small segments of DNA) which, according to honest virologists all over the world, is absolutely unsuitable for covid-19 testing. It has actually not even been licensed to carry out such tests.

Nevertheless, the PCR test has been and is being touted and promoted by WHO - and by other leading health institutions in the western world, such as the US NIAID / NIH and CDC, as well as by researchers from the German Center for Infection Research (DZIF) at Charité, Hospital, Berlin. It was Dr. Christian Drosten, Director of the Institute of Virology at "Charité", who propagated this test which eventually was taken over by the German respective Government and health authorities, who made it a mandatory panacea to test and count "cases", mostly to manipulate statistics - which the media then uses to implant fear in the population.

Comment: This is the right idea! Let all the Corona criminals - private and public - prove that their profits and policies are legitimate in a court of law where all the data and evidence may be evaluated impartially.

As seen in the video below, the woman is seen being held down by several police officers before being escorted away.

"Why are you arresting her? What did she do?," a bystander is heard shouting at police.

A group of people surrounding the woman was heard shouting profanities at police as they made the arrest.

Why are journalists making Trump's illness all about themselves?

White House Dr Sean Conley

What's the most important part of this developing Trump-has-Covid story? Is it 'how sick is the President?' Or is it 'look at journalists trying to find out how sick the President is?' It can be hard to tell.

Yesterday was the day of the 'mixed messages'. At a press briefing, the physicians delivered what was meant to be an upbeat assessment of Trump's condition. The president had been fever free for 24 hours; his symptoms were 'resolving and improving'. Then came the questions and the answers became confusing. Dr Sean Conley, the incumbent physician to the President, became evasive when asked if Trump had been given oxygen. It turns out he had. The briefing also led to some confusion as to when exactly the President started to feel unwell.

Then came the Mark Meadows sideshow. The White House Chief of Staff got caught out briefing reporters that the actual situation was 'very concerning'. Silly Mark. He later went on Fox to clarify that Trump had made 'unbelievable improvements since yesterday morning' even though he was not 'out of the woods'. Which is a bit odd because Meadows had given a briefing outside the White House that morning in which he described Trump's symptoms as mild and said he was in 'not only in good spirits but very energetic.'
