US blew up Nord Stream gas pipelines - Moscow

Washington used Ukraine to separate Russia and the EU and fix its own economic problems, Nikolay Patrushev has claimed...

The US has used the ongoing Ukrainian crisis to drive a wedge between Russia and the EU while alleviating its own economic troubles at their expense, Nikolay Patrushev, the head of Russia's National Security Council, has said.

The security chef made the remarks on Tuesday during an offsite meeting of the council in the Siberian city of Tomsk. Patrushev squarely assigned blame for the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines last fall to Washington, pointing out that the incident has greatly benefited the US.
"The US, using the Ukrainian crisis, managed to sever economic relations between Europe and Russia and eliminate its economic competitors. They solve their economic problems at the expense of other countries. And to make sure Europe could not receive gas from Russia, the Nord Streams were blown up."
The US has demonstrated a similar pattern in other regions as well, the security chief suggested, stating that Washington's efforts to link the Ukrainian crisis to the new escalation in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas were an example of such behavior. Moreover, the US itself has largely provoked the new crisis in the region, the official asserted.

Western nations 'changing tune' on defeating Russia - Putin

Western nations, who previously insisted that Ukraine should defeat Russia on the battlefield, are gradually changing their position, President Vladimir Putin noted on Friday.

"They are changing their tune now, saying different things," the Russian leader told members of the Civic Chamber, a civil society body tasked with consulting the government on policymaking.

Putin argued that the nation should become stronger in all aspects, including the economy, military, and political stability. Such strength deters hostile actors from trying to isolate Russia, he said.

"They (EU nations) excluded our energy. So what? What is the result? Our GDP will grow [up to] 3% this year, and the leading European economies are shrinking," he noted.

"They suffer; they have real problems," Putin added, noting that he was saying this without joy. "This doesn't mean that we should behave aggressively. It means we must be sovereign in every sense of the word," he concluded.

Israel's Gaza operations not 'self-defense' - Moscow

Israel does not have the right to cite self-defense as justification for its military operations in Gaza because it is an "occupying power," Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia told an emergency special session of the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.

Nebenzia said all the US and its allies can do is "talk about Israel's supposed right to self-defense." However, he pointed out that "as an occupying power, it does not have such a right, which was confirmed by the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice in 2004."

The diplomat went on to accuse the US and its satellites of hypocrisy, stating that in other situations they always call to respect humanitarian law, create special commissions, and impose sanctions on those "who actually use force only as a last resort to stop decades of violence."

West hurting itself with sanctions - Putin

The Western sanctions on Russia have backfired and hurt the countries that imposed them instead, President Vladimir Putin said during a government meeting on Wednesday.

"Over the past years, our so-called partners have adopted countless packages of sanctions... trying to punish us. However, in the end - it's a completely obvious thing - the statistics show that they have hit their own economies, their own jobs," Putin said.

The Russian leader, however, urged officials to brace for more Western sanctions and even keep an eye on potential acts of sabotage from abroad.

"As the potential of the sanctions aggression against us has effectively been drained, it might be followed by actual sabotage on critical infrastructure sites," the president warned.

"We remember what happened with Nord Stream," he added, referring to the twin undersea pipelines built to deliver natural gas from Russia to Germany, which were bombed in September 2022.

Speaker Johnson suggests diverting IRS funding for Israel aid: 'Immediate and urgent need'

House Speaker Mike Johnson told "Outnumbered" co-host Kayleigh McEnany in a recent interview that he was intending to divert some IRS funding for aid to Israel.

"My intention and my desire in the first draft of this bill is to take some of the money that has been set aside for building and bulking up the IRS right now," he said, and repurpose it for aid to Israel.

"They have about $67 billion in that fund and we'll try to take the $14.5 [billion] necessary for this immediate and urgent need," Johnson said of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas that started on Oct. 7 after terrorists killed, kidnapped and assaulted Israeli, American and other citizens at a festival.

Comment: While many Americans would have no problem cutting funding for the IRS, they probably don't want it going towards the murder of Palestinian children. Not that it matters what the public thinks.

The bill passed 226-196, with 12 Democrats voting for it and two Republicans voting against. It faces little chance of becoming law, however, with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer already saying he won't take it up and the White House threatening to veto it.

Best of the Web: What is the expected role of Hezbollah in the Gaza war?

Hezbollah car rally
© Reuters/Aziz TaherFILE PHOTO: Hezbollah rally
Hezbollah has historically been a significant player in the broader Middle East conflict, particularly in its confrontations with Israel. Its stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is well known, as it has always expressed solidarity with the Palestinian cause. However, predicting specific actions or decisions by Hezbollah is speculative. While Hezbollah can open a northern front against Israel from Lebanon, this would be a significant escalation. Such a decision depends on broader regional dynamics, including Hezbollah's relationship with Iran and Syria and domestic considerations within Lebanon. Lebanon has its own set of complex political and economic challenges, and any decision by Hezbollah to escalate its involvement in an external conflict would have to consider the potential domestic repercussions, mainly on the society that embraced it.

Hezbollah's engagement in the Gaza war

Since 8 October, the Lebanese-Israeli border has become a hotspot for military confrontations between Hezbollah and the Israeli occupation army. The area stretches 100-120 km from Naqoura on the Mediterranean coast to the disputed Shebaa Farms and the occupied Golan Heights, has been the scene of intense skirmishes.

Comment: Nasrallah's speech:

Timeline
  • The Israeli army is avoiding a major ground operation in Gaza because it is weak and impotent.
  • For an entire month, Israel has not been able to make a single military achievement.
  • Israel is repeating the mistake of setting unachievable goals.
  • A lot of the Israelis killed in Gaza's envelope were killed by the Israeli army's fire.
  • The Oct. 7 operation paved the way for a new era in the region.
  • This U.S. rush to support and assist Israel has exposed this entity's weakness and failure.
  • The Israelis now believe more than me that Israel is weaker than a spider's web.
  • Al-Aqsa Flood exposed the weakness of Israel.
  • Whatever the enemy's government does, it will not be able to change the strategic and historic results of Al-Aqsa Flood.
  • This operation caused a security, military, political and psychological earthquake in Israel.
  • The Islamic Republic of Iran publicly supports resistance movements in Lebanon and Palestine, but it does not practice any hegemony on them.
  • This is a purely Palestinian battle and it is not related to any regional or international file.
  • Nasrallah on Hamas' Oct. 7 operation: The decision of this great and blessed battle was 100% Palestinian and those who did it concealed it from the other Palestinian factions and the forces in the region.
  • We salute the Iraqi and Yemeni arms that have joined this blessed battle.
  • This is the celebration of our pride in the martyrs.

US drones flying over Gaza strip to 'help in hostage rescue efforts', anonymous officials claim

Eisenhower aircraft carrier
© AFPThe USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The United States has been flying surveillance drones over Gaza in search of hostages taken by Hamas when the Palestinian group attacked Israel on October 7, two US officials said on Thursday.

The two US officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the US was flying intelligence-gathering drones over Gaza to assist with hostage location efforts.

One of the officials said they had been carrying out the drone flights for over a week.

US officials have said 10 Americans who remain unaccounted for may be among the more than 200 people taken as hostages into Gaza, where they are believed to be held in Hamas' extensive tunnel network.

Comment: One could be forgiven for not believing the 'hostage rescue' explanation as the reason for US involvement, because the evidence, and Israel's own admissions, reveal that Tel Aviv isn't particularly concerned with its own people being held hostage. Furthermore, since Israel has been bombing mostly civilian facilities and infrastructure, it's clear that their focus, as of right now, isn't really on Hamas at all. Instead, as official Israeli documents brazenly stated, their intention is drive the people of Gaza toward the border and out of Tel Aviv's concentration camp.

Moreover, the first official admissions of US involvement in their proxy war in Ukraine began as 'intelligence' assistance, until later when it became known that numerous US generals actually died on the battlefield:

CNN claims that Assad agreed to send missile system to Hezbollah, as MSM fabricates case for US involvement and for attack on Syria

SA-22 missile system
SA-22 missile system
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has agreed to provide the Lebanese Hezbollah with a Russian-made missile defense system, according to two sources familiar with the intelligence, CNN reported on Friday.

The Wagner Group has been tasked with carrying out the delivery of the surface-to-air SA-22 missile system, the sources said. It is not clear whether it has already been delivered or how close it is to delivery.

The system was originally provided by Russia for use by the Syrian government, the sources said.

One of the sources said the US has been monitoring the recent movement of the system.

Comment: One air defense system isn't going to do much, and so it seems more likely that these anonymous sources are instead attempting to build a case to justify US involvement in the burgeoning conflict, as well as for an attack on Syria. Because, as a number of analysts have suggested, one of the primary targets of the chaos creation campaign, born of Israel's escalation of its ethnic cleansing campaign in Gaza, is Syria. Note also that the evidence suggests that US special forces are already working, and dying, on the ground in Gaza: Analyst Andrew Korybko explains why the report above is most likely a psy-op:
Three Reasons Why The Wall Street Journal's Report About Wagner & Hezbollah Is A Psy-Op

The Mainstream Media and its supporters have self-explanatory reasons for lending false credence to this information warfare provocation, but the Alt-Media Community should be made aware of what's going on and then stop functioning as their "useful idiots".

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) cited unnamed US officials on Thursday to report that Wagner is allegedly planning to send an air defense system to Hezbollah. If true, then it would represent Russia's indirect involvement in the latest Israeli-Hamas war on the Iranian-led Axis of Resistance's side. For as much as many in the Alt-Media Community (AMC) and Mainstream Media (MSM) want to believe this, each for polar opposite ideological reasons, it's arguably a psy-op as will be explained below:

----------

1. Russia Strictly Adheres To A Policy Of Principled Neutrality Towards This Conflict

Russia has invested considerable effort into defending its policy of principled neutrality towards this conflict, which readers can learn more about in this analysis here that reviews Lavrov's latest interview where he elaborated on his country's approach. It would therefore be an inexplicable break from precedent as confirmed by those official sources cited in the preceding piece for Russia to all of a sudden voluntarily involve itself in this conflict that it's thus far done its best to avoid getting dragged into.

2. It Would Make More Sense For Iran To Dispatch Analogues Systems To Its Allies

Iran has developed analogous systems to the one that the WSJ claimed might soon be sent to Hezbollah by Wagner, yet their report doesn't account for why the Islamic Republic won't dispatch them to its allies for battlefield testing, nor why Hezbollah supposedly seeks Russian systems instead. These two unaddressed questions make one wonder whether that report's actual aim is to sow distrust between Russia-Iran and Iran-Hezbollah as part of a creative divide-and-rule information warfare provocation.

3. The US Has Been Trying To Turn Russia & Israel Against One Another All Month

The last reason to be skeptical of this report is that the US has tried to turn Russia and Israel against one another all month. To that end, one of its partially government-funded think tanks falsely suggested that the first is allied with Hamas while Senate Minority Leader McConnell claimed that Russia is in an "axis of evil" alongside Iran and its regional allies. The latest report pressures Israel to break ties with Russia and/or launch preemptive strikes against its assets in Syria, both of which advance US interests.

----------

From the above, it can be concluded that the WSJ's report about Wagner and Hezbollah is indeed a psy-op that aims to: 1) discredit Russia's neutral stance towards the conflict; 2) divide Russia-Iran and Iran-Hezbollah; and 3) divide Russia-Israel, all to the US' hegemonic benefit. The MSM and its supporters have self-explanatory reasons for lending false credence to this information warfare provocation, but the AMC should be made aware of what's going on and then stop functioning as their "useful idiots".

I'm posting this two-segment video to set the record straight; there is credible information that indicates Israel, with the backing of the United States, intends to assassinate Syria's President Bashar al-Assad if Hezbollah opens a wide front from southern Lebanon.

To put this in proper context; since 2011, the U.S. waged a secret covert operation in Syria to topple Assad and install a friendly government in Israel. To achieve this goal, the U.S. and its regional allies spent tens of billions in arming and training multinational takfiri terrorist groups.

According to the New York Times, the secret program (Timber Sycamore) was one of the most expensive CIA covert operations in the history of the agency. However, Syria emerged victorious and the terror groups were mostly destroyed with the help of Iran, Russia, and Hezbollah.

While President Trump ended the covert operation in 2017, the Pentagon sent troops to the Eastern shore of the Euphrates to occupy the oil and gas fields and hence, disallow the Syrian government from using the revenues of the oil to reconstruct the war-torn country.

The pro-Syria alliance believes the CIA's attempt to remove Assad was urged by Israel because a pro-Israeli government in Damascus means the isolation of Hezbollah and eventually the Palestinian militant groups fighting against Israel.

With the escalation of the conflict in Palestine and the carpet bombing of Gaza, it is believed that Hezbollah has mobilized its elite forces and kept 1/3 of the Israeli army busy on the northern front by firing ATGMs and rockets at the Israeli forces. But if Israel wages a full-scale invasion of Gaza, it is believed that Hezbollah will intervene and wage a ground offensive on the settlements in northern Israel.

If Hezbollah's offensive materializes, my information indicates that Israel will bomb Damascus and try to kill Assad. Will Israel dare to do that? I believe with the current mentality governing Tel Aviv, everything is possible.

NOTE: the above text is an analysis based on my personal knowledge and different sources. It is not wishful thinking or scaremongering. It is simply a political analysis based on the available information to me.

A spokesman for the Council of Representatives, the country's lower legislative house, said economic cooperation with Israel would also be put on hold amid its bombardment of Gaza.

"This is a confirmation of the historic Bahraini position in support of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the fraternal Palestinian people, which has been previously declared by His Majesty the King at conferences and events," the statement read, referring to Bahrain's King Hamad Al Khalifa.

Comment: The position of Middle East nations towards the US (and therefore Israel) on the genocide in Gaza was made rather clear on a recent US tour of the Middle East whereby they were made to wait, or not given a hearing at all.

Since the 2020 normalisation deals were made, the geopolitical landscape has changed rather significantly, and it seems that the burgeoning multipolar polar, and the threat it poses to US hegemony, is partly what has compelled Israel-US to take such a risk in Gaza.

Meanwhile, in part thanks to the abominable and irrefutable images of Israel's war crimes being published on social media outlets like X/Twitter, increasing numbers of people across the planet are in uproar over Israel's ethnic cleansing, and leaders in the Middle East risk unrest at home if they're found to be going easy on Tel Aviv.

Moreover, these same leaders will also be well aware that the US and Israel don't intend to keep these war crimes confined to just Palestine; because another prime target for their chaos creation seems to be Syria and its leader Assad: Israel rushes warships to Red Sea after attacks by Yemen's Houthis, raises possibility conflict will spill over into Syria

Israeli military censorship hides the truth from you

Benny and guys
© UnknownIsraeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu
This was the most important information of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, yet it had escaped us. The attack on Israel was not carried out by Hamas jihadists, but by four united armed groups. This is the first time in fifty years that the Palestinians of Gaza have united. Like it or not, the long years of Western indifference to the fate of the Palestinians are ending. From now on, we will have to start applying international law.

Contrary to what I wrote last week based on dispatches from Western and Arab news agencies filtered by Israeli military censorship, Israel's attack on October 7, 2023 (Operation Al-Aqsa Flood) ) was not perpetrated by Hamas alone. Its triggering was decided by a unitary operation chamber of the entire Palestinian Resistance. Hamas, which is by far the main component, provided the bulk of the troops, but three other groups participated:
- Islamic Jihad (Sunni and Khomeinist),
- the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (Marxist), and
- the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-CG).
The Western press reported on the barbaric crimes committed by some of the attackers, but not on the respect of others. Once verified, the accusations of rape and decapitation of babies [1] constitute war propaganda. This one-eyed and lying journalism should no longer surprise us.

This clarification modifies the interpretation of the event. This is no longer a jihadist operation by the Muslim Brotherhood, but an attack by all Palestinians in Gaza. Only West Bank Fatah, which stands apart from the aforementioned groups and whose president, Mahmoud Abbas, is seriously ill, did not participate.

The aim of this operation was not to "kill Jews", even if some Hamas jihadists did so (the Israelis count 2,700 dead in total), but to take prisoners, civilians and soldiers, to exchange them with Arab detainees in Israeli high security prisons [2]. These are not necessarily combatants, but also civilians. The prisoners were taken away without being able to change clothes in a reminder of how the Israeli army treated Egyptian prisoners at the end of the Six-Day War.
