ISIS fighter implicated in burning alive of Turkish soldiers twice 'previously released' by Turkey

ISIS militants
Photographs appeared to show ISIS militant twice released by Turkey implicated in burning of Turkish soldiers in Al-Bab highlights folly of Turkey's previous support for the group.

As delegations - including one from Turkey - gather in Astana to discuss a peace settlement of Syria's ongoing conflict, comes bitter news which may in part explain Turkey's change of positions in seeking a peaceful settlement of the Syrian war.

The normally reliable Turkish Dogan news agency is apparently reporting that one of the ISIS activists responsible for burning alive two Turkish soldiers captured by ISIS near the strategic Syrian town of Al-Bab is a known ISIS militant who had twice been arrested by the Turkish authorities in Turkey - in 2012 and 2015 - and who was then twice released by them.

The Al-Masdar news agency, referring to the Dogan report, is showing a photograph of the ISIS militant in question -Hasan Aydin - under arrest in Turkey

Conspiracy theory goes mainstream: Can Trump 'red-pill' America?

Trump redpill
The only thing as unpredictable as Donald Trump's path to victory in the general election is perhaps his path out of it. Few can be sure of how Trump will hit the ground running after his motley of cabinet appointees and pledge to exculpate Hillary Clinton from prosecution. Some in the Alt Right think that the honeymoon is over, whereas those in the Alt Lite are delighted to see their civic nationalist President signalling newfound moderation - the only exception being his UN-vote flare-up of Israeli irredentism. The party seems to be over, and unfortunately it's not the GOP.

However, there are still a number of promising permutations of a Trump presidency that could deliver much-needed doses of political and ideological realism for a nationalist palingenesis. The ground is fertile in an America fatigued by wars, social problems, and government overreach. And then there is liberal America, where tens of millions truly believe that there is an epidemic of racist police shootings,

Comment: There is an epidemic of police shootings, but it's not necessarily racist.

that diversity is a strength,

Comment: It can be.

and that tougher gun laws will fix Chicago.

Comment: Wrong, of course. When guns are illegal, only criminals have them.

Blowback: France's self-inflicted refugee crisis

french refugees
Following rhetoric regarding Europe's refugee crisis, one might assume the refugees, through no fault of Europe's governments, suddenly began appearing by the thousands at Europe's borders. However, this simply is not true.

Before the 2011 wave of US-European engineered uprisings across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) transformed into Western military interventions, geopolitical analysts warned that overthrowing the governments in nations like Libya and Syria, and Western interventions in nations likeMali and the Ivory Coast, would lead to predicable regional chaos that would manifest itself in both expanding terrorism across the European and MENA region, as well as a flood of refugees from destabilized, war-racked nations.

Libya in particular, was singled out as a nation, if destabilized, that would transform into a springboard for refugees not only fleeing chaos in Libya itself, but fleeing a variety of socioeconomic and military threats across the continent. Libya has served for decades as a safe haven for African refugees due to its relative stability and economic prosperity as well as the Libyan government's policy of accepting and integrating African refugees within the Libyan population.

Because of NATO's 2011 military intervention and the disintegration of Libya as a functioning nation state, refugees who would have otherwise settled in Libya are now left with no choice but to continue onward to Europe.

No 'word bombs' or pressure from outside can stop Chinese naval drills in South China Sea

China will conduct its drills in the South China Sea despite provocations or "disruption of countries from outside," Chinese state media said, stressing that exercises far out at sea will become "extremely normal."

"These provocations, pressure, fantasies and over-exaggerations will not prevent the normal drills of the Chinese military," the Communist Party's People's Daily said on Sunday, as reported by Reuters.

According to the paper, no amount of "word bombs," such as remarks by US President Donald Trump's secretary of state pick, Rex Tillerson, could interfere with Chinese military exercises.

"The meddling and disruption of countries from outside the region can only run counter to the consensus of common interests that accords with this region and the world... Henceforth, the Chinese military's exercises far out at sea will become a kind of normal, extremely normal drills."

Richard Black, Virginia state senator - Trump's 'old friends become allies' goal refers to Russia

Trump's intention is to end the provocative actions that the US took against Russia and normalize relations, Virginia State Senator Richard Black said, adding that this is a great time to draw back from war, unnecessary conflict, and regime change.

Donald Trump's first full day as US president saw thousands marching in Washington, DC as a part of the Women's March. So-called sister events were held across the globe. Organizers said they wanted to send Trump a message "that women's rights are human rights."

This followed violent and destructive protests that erupted across the US after Trump's inauguration. In Portland, Oregon, demonstrators burned American flags. Other major cities saw violent clashes with police.

RT: Were you surprised by these pretty much unprecedented protests?

Richard Black: I am not surprised at all. There are people like George Soros who pay a great deal of money; I understand that many of these protesters have been paid $1,500 to $2,500 to attend. Most of the ones that I saw at the inauguration lacked energy, lacked passion... This is all just theatrics and it doesn't mean anything.

RT: Why do you think people are feeling anger that Donald Trump is now the president?

RB: The Trump administration may bring about more dramatic change than we have ever seen in our lifetimes. And a great deal of that is going to be in the area of foreign policy. And I think that you are seeing some Republicans who are very nervous about what is going to happen, because he will fundamentally alter our foreign policy.

It has begun: Changes Donald Trump has made since being sworn in as President

Trump in office

President Donald Trump promised a lot would happen on "day one" during his election campaign - although he later clarified he meant on his first Monday in office, rather than today. Apparently keen to get down to business, the billionaire tycoon went to the Oval Office immediately after yesterday's swearing-in ceremony but before the inauguration ball.

The first order he signed related to Obamacare - which he has pledged to repeal. The President signed an order to federal departments to "minimise the economic impact" of the Affordable Care Act, which grants health insurance to all Americans.

He then signed a stack of executive orders relating to his Cabinet appointments and other procedural matters.

One was a law to allow former Marine James Mattis to take the office of Defence Secretary, waiving the requirement that the appointee be a civilian for the past seven years.

President Trump made further nominations for his Cabinet, including Scott Pruitt for head of the Environmental Protection Agency and John Kelly for the Department of Homeland Security.

Mr Trump also signed a proclamation creating a National Day of Patriotism, although it has not been announced on what day this will fall.

Comment: So far, so good...the start of big things, terrific things.

Defeating Trump's presidency: David Brock's super-smart plan leaked

David Brock
David Brock
When you find out what their super-smart plan is, you might be disappointed. Just like they will be if they're really pinning all their hopes to this.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:
Confidential David Brock Memo: Defeat Trump Through Impeachment

"A confidential David Brock memo obtained by the Washington Free Beacon lays out the ways the Democratic operative plans to use his numerous organizations to take down President Donald Trump through impeachment.

Brock is currently at the Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura, Fla. for a weekend conference with more than 100 major liberal donors. Attendees are mapping out a course to combat the newly sworn-in president.

According to the private and confidential memo, Brock plans to defeat Trump 'through impeachment,' using American Bridge, his liberal super PAC, as the main vehicle to do so.

'No other progressive organization has the resources and assets that American Bridge has amassed over the past several election cycles to hold Trump, his administration, and the politicians accountable,' the 44-page confidential memo states."
The report goes on to say they will build a "Trump War Room" where they will uncover Trump's ties to Russia.

Yeah, that's sure to work.

After all, Democrats put hundreds of millions into doing that before the election.

And guys like David Brock ultimately helped Hillary Clinton get elected president, didn't he?

Oh wait.

Libya's neighbors have rejected any foreign intervention into the north-African state as the fighting between various armed factions rages on - six years since the fall of colonel Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.

The 10th ministerial meeting of Libya's neighboring countries, held in the Egyptian capital Cairo on Saturday, reaffirmed the need of maintaining Libya's stability, unity and sovereignty.

The final communique agreed on a "rejection of any external interference in the internal affairs of Libya."

Comment: But can they do anything about it?

No wonder he was murdered - Gaddafi predicted the New Cold War in 2009

Muammar Gaddafi
© Russia InsiderKilled for not bending the knee.
Amongst responsible western taxpayers, the name "Muammar Gaddafi" is synonymous with Hitler multiplied by anus herpes. Nevermind that Gaddafi turned a backwards, illiterate nation of slaves (literally, slaves, whipped into obedience by a western-backed monarch-monster) into the most educated, prosperous nation in North Africa. Before the glorious "civil war", Libya enjoyed a higher standard of living than two-thirds of the planet — including your beloved mother Russia.

And in an incredible, prophetic interview from 2009, Gaddafi told a Russian television crew that Ukraine would be ground zero of a new cold war between Washington and Moscow. In 2009! That was when even Moscow was masturbating furiously to the prospects of a new "reset" with the west.

No wonder Hillary Clinton murdered Gaddafi. He was too smart for his own good.

Watch the whole interview. Otherwise you won't appreciate how prophetic and scary his observations really were:

Now he's dead.

News report reveals Whitehall covered up 1st-time failure of Trident ballistic missile test near US coast

A Trident missile fired last year from a Royal Navy nuclear submarine off the Florida coast malfunctioned and headed to the mainland during a routine test, but Whitehall ordered a news blackout to avoid "severe panic," the Sunday Times reported.

The Trident ballistic missile was set to be tested for the first time in four years by the HMS Vengeance last June off the Florida coast, according to the Sunday Times.

Vengeance, the fourth and final Vanguard-class nuclear-capable submarine of the Royal Navy, had undergone a refit in Devonport dockyard before heading out for a firing test to verify if the ship and her crew were ready for active service.
