NATO state threatens to invade Israel

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has opened up the prospect of sending troops into the Jewish state.

Türkiye could ultimately "enter" Israel over the enduring conflict in the Gaza Strip between West Jerusalem and the Palestinian militant group Hamas, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned.

The president issued the threat on Sunday as he spoke during a rally of his ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP). Erdogan stated:
"We must be very strong so that Israel cannot strike Palestine. Just like we entered Karabakh and the way we entered Libya, maybe we'll do the same thing. There's nothing we can't do. We have to be strong."
Türkiye's leader referred to Ankara's active participation in the Libyan civil war, as well as the recent hostilities in the Azerbaijani region of Karabakh. Baku, which emerged victorious in the conflict and regained control over the breakaway region, has been receiving support from both Israel and Türkiye, yet the purported direct participation of Ankara's troops in the hostilities had not been reported before.

While Erdogan has long positioned himself as a major supporter of the Palestinian cause, he has abstained from threatening a direct invasion of Israel.

Comment: Israel threatens Turkey:
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has warned that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan could end up like former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, who was toppled and executed by a US-backed coalition, if he attempts to intervene in the Gaza war.

Erdogan traded threats with Israeli officials on Sunday over the IDF's ongoing military operation in Gaza, as well as rapidly escalating tensions with Lebanese-based armed group Hezbollah. Speaking at a rally in his hometown of Rize, Erdogan suggested that Türkiye could "enter" Israel in order to help the Palestinians. "We must be very strong so that Israel can't do these ridiculous things to Palestine."

In the past he has compared Israel's actions in Gaza to those of Nazi Germany - and likened Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler.

Katz responded with a warning of his own on X (formerly Twitter): "Erdogan is going down the path of Saddam Hussein and threatens to attack Israel. He should just remember what happened there and how that ended."

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid also blasted Erdogan, calling him a "danger to the Middle East" and a "wannabe dictator."

Lapid wrote on X: "The world, and especially NATO members, must strongly condemn his outrageous threats against Israel and force him to end his support for Hamas."

Saddam Hussein was overthrown during the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq. He went into hiding, but was eventually caught by US troops, convicted by an Iraqi court of crimes against humanity, and executed by hanging in 2006.

The US under President George W. Bush claimed at the time that the Iraqi leader had connections to Al-Qaeda - a group behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks - and had weapons of mass destruction. Both claims later turned out to be false, but Washington used them as rationale for attacking Iraq, despite having failed to secure the approval of the UN Security Council.

Is there a risk that Kamala Harris might 'go soft' on foreign policy?

Extraordinary Times: Biden renounces his election bid via in the slimmest of Sunday afternoon postings; retreats into a silence which finally is broken by a 'long farewell' pronounced from the Oval Office. Biden's staff didn't hear of his renunciation until a minute before his letter was posted. Then the internet was struck down by CrowdStrike, and the head of the U.S. Secret Service gives an account of the Trump assassination attempt that leaves both sides of the aisle in Congress aghast at the seeming incompetence - or mooting something 'worse'.

Everyone is left reeling.

With all media information streams tainted, and with no 'believable someone' to explain what is going on, we are pushed completely to the 'outside'. For now, it is impossible to orientate. The media increasingly is about one thing: 'Let us think for you. Let us be your eyes and your ears. Make our new words and phrases into your language. The explanations and hypotheses that are offered appear so unconvincing that they evoke rather, a deliberate attempt to dis-orientate the public - and to loosen their grip on reality'.

Nonetheless, even if the essence of the internal U.S. conflict is shrouded, a veil on the working of the Deep State has been peeled away: It is widely understood the Biden ouster was masterminded - behind the curtain - by Barack Obama. Pelosi was the 'enforcer' ("We can do this [Biden's ouster] the easy way - or the 'hard way'", Pelosi warned the Biden circle).

Rod Blagojevich (who has known Obama since 1995) explains the gist of what is happening in the Wall Street Journal:
"We [he and Obama] both grew up in Chicago politics. We understand how it works — with the bosses over the people. Mr. Obama learned the lessons well. And what he just did to Mr. Biden is what political bosses have been doing in Chicago since the 1871 fire - selections masquerading as elections. Mr. Obama and I know this kind of Chicago politics better than anyone. We both rose up in it and I was brought to ruin by it".

"While today's Democratic bosses may look different from the old-time cigar-chomping guy with a pinky ring, they operate the same way: in the shadows of the backroom. Mr. Obama, Nancy Pelosi and the rich donors — the Hollywood and Silicon Valley élites — are the new bosses of today's Democratic Party. They call the shots. The voters, most of them working people, are there to be lied to, manipulated and controlled".

"All along, Mr. Biden and the Democratic politicians have been claiming that this year's presidential race is about "saving democracy". They are the biggest hypocrites in American political history. They have successfully maneuvered to dump their duly elected candidate for president ... [Biden's] unfitness to run for re-election today didn't just happen. The Democrats have been covering it up for a long time. [However, after] June's presidential debate, Mr. Obama and the Democratic bosses could no longer hide his condition. The jig was up, and Joe had to go".

"The Democratic National Convention in Chicago next month will provide the perfect backdrop and place for Mr. Obama to finish the job and choose his candidate, not the voters' candidate. Democracy, no. Chicago ward-boss politics, yes".
Well, it seems that Kamala Harris - who never won a primary - is again about to circumvent the primary process through orchestrated acclaim, which rumour suggests is concerted by the Clinton family, whilst the Obama family (Dons of the Chicago political mafia) are against her, and fume quietly.

Is it done? Will Kamala Harris be the Democratic contender?

A key Google feature is failing to show results for the attempted assassination of Donald Trump — drawing claims from the former president's son that Big Tech companies are trying to influence the election.

It has also sparked a Senate investigation.

Google users were surprised to discover that the search engine's "Autocomplete" was apparently omitting suggested results related to the assassination attempt against Donald Trump.

The anomaly quickly caught the attention of social media users, including a Texas congressman and Donald Trump Jr., who began sharing screenshots of their own examples showing Google search suggestions coming up empty for queries about the deadly Pennsylvania rally shooting.

There's no mention of Trump even when the entire search term "the assassination attempt of" is typed into the Google homepage search bar.

Biden unveils unconstitutional plan to overhaul Supreme Court — with focus on limiting Trump's powers

President Biden formally unveiled his planned overhaul of the Supreme Court on Friday — with a clear eye on limiting the powers of former President Donald Trump should he succeed him.

The commander in chief took the unusual step of unveiling his major planned policy steps in a newspaper op-ed, with the Washington Post helpfully telling readers: "The writer is president of the United States."

The president laid out three main changes to the court — which he said is "mired in a crisis of ethics" — including term limits and a binding code of conduct.

However, the main focus was the court's recent decision to grant Trump broad immunity for any crimes committed in office.

Leaving Las Vegas: Inside the last tortured days of the Biden campaign

In late 1967, as the Vietnam War was raging and President Lyndon B. Johnson was becoming increasingly unpopular, I was recruited to handle the press and write speeches for Senator Eugene McCarthy of Minnesota, the only Democrat gutsy enough to run against the Democratic president.

Months later, working round the clock in a cluttered suite in a New Hampshire motel, I was curious about a courier from New York City who flew up most nights on the last Eastern Airlines flight. The courier would dash to the suite with a canvas bag attached to his wrist and turn it over to one of the campaign's richest and most enthusiastic benefactors. The guy was a multi-millionaire who ran a major stock market fund but was happy to sit in the suite I was then sharing with Richard Goodwin, a real political pro — unlike me and the college brats on the campaign — and just watch and do the various errands that needed doing.

One night I asked the millionaire what was in the bag. He threw it to me, with a key. I unlocked it and found myself staring at dozens of shiny packages of 100 dollar bills. I had no idea then or now whether the funds were properly reported and did not ask. So that's how it works, I thought, and I tossed the bag back. I knew then I was not long for the world of presidential politics.

Italian Prime Minister kicks off China visit, with economic cooperation in focus Visit to help stabilize and promote China's ties with Italy.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni kicked off her five-day visit to China on Saturday, with multiple business participants as well as observers of the two countries expressing their high expectations for the visit, highlighting the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation, especially in areas such as new energy products, new energy vehicles and other green technologies.

This marks Meloni's first visit to China since she took office, and she is the first European leader to visit China since the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China concluded.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang held a welcome ceremony for Meloni on Sunday afternoon at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China Central Television reported, and the two sides held talks after the welcome ceremony.

Comment: The ceremony likely reflects China's belief that this meeting is sincere, and will be fruitful. Because recent visits from EU and American dignitaries have not received the same fanfare.

Comment: The diplomatic efforts of Russia and China in recent months portend significant geopolitical shifts up ahead, however, unfortunately, it also means that the pathocrats in the West-Israel are likely to become even more desperate and vengeful:

The Hungarian government did not announce the deal, which was first reported by the local financial news site Portfolio based on publicly available data.

Budapest took out a three-year, floating-rate loan from Chinese banks on April 19, data on the Hungarian Government Debt Management Agency's website showed.

Best of the Web: CIA denies grooming Thomas Crooks to assassinate Trump

crooks lanza
"My name is Legion, for we are many"
Was the attempted assassination of former president Donald Trump earlier this month part of a secret CIA program involving brainwashed killers? That's the claim being made by some far-right accounts on X, but the U.S. intelligence agency is taking the unusual step of directly and forcefully denying the claims.

When it was revealed in the 1970s that the CIA had tried to develop a mind-manipulation program called MKUltra, it sounded like the most absurd conspiracy theory around. Unfortunately, it turned out to be true, even if the suggestive results of the program - and potential for creating Manchurian Candidate-like killers - have been exaggerated in the subsequent decades.

But MKUltra has become quite a meme in the 2020s, with many conspiracy theorists jumping into the fray after Trump was shot at by a 20-year-old during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. The shooter was identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks who acted alone.

Comment: ...according to the CIA's sister agency, the FBI...

But some people on social media are trying to claim Crooks was somehow trained by the CIA under an MKUltra program to go after Trump.

Comment: That last line is a CLASSIC SYMPTOM of a 'programmed patsy': there's no motive because they HAVE NO PERSONAL MOTIVE. Their 'will' is taken over by someone else's, namely the patsy's agency handlers.

Ah, journalists.

Venezuela's President Maduro wins third term: Electoral authority

Nicolas Maduro
© ReutersVenezuelan President Nicolas Maduro celebrates the results after the presidential election in Caracas, Venezuela July 29, 2024.
Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro has been re-elected as the country's president to take power for a third term, the electoral council has announced.

Elvis Amoroso, president of the CNE electoral body, said the 61-year-old Maduro won 51.2 percent of votes cast Sunday, securing a third six-year term in office.

Amoroso told reporters that opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia had obtained 44.2 percent of votes.

In first words after the National Electoral Council of Venezuela declared him re-elected, Maduro praised more than 900 election observers who monitored the election, and denounced those alleging election fraud, saying, "We've seen this movie many times before."

"It's the move of the extreme right. It came out 20 years ago, many of you hadn't been born yet, and they tried to besmirch the results back then - calling 'fraud' were all these press releases," he told the cheering crowd of supporters.

"They are ugly faces. The gorgeous ones are the people who are here and noble."
