Tony Cartalucci: Confronting the threat of ethnic specific bioweapons

ethnic bioweapons
The United States Air Force's 59th Medical Wing's molecular biology branch recently was revealed to have been collecting specifically Russian RNA and synovial (connective) tissue samples, prompting fears in Russia of a possible US directed ethnic-specific bioweapons program.

TeleSUR's article, "'Ethnic Bomb' Feared as US Air Force Confirms Collection of Russian DNA," would report:
Russia has raised its concerns over attempts by the U.S. military to collect DNA samples from Russian nationals, noting the potential use of such biological samples for the purpose of creating new genetic warfare weaponry.

The U.S. Air Force has sought to calm the Kremlin's concerns, noting that the samples would only be used for so-called "research" purposes rather than for bioterrorism.

Addressing Russian reports, U.S. Air Education and Training Command spokesperson Captain Beau Downey said that his center randomly selected the Russian people as a source of genetic material in its ongoing research of the musculoskeletal system.
The report would also state that:
However, the usage of Russian tissue samples in the USAF study fed the long-brewing suspicion that the Pentagon is continuing in its hopes to develop an alleged "biological weapon" targeting specifically Russians.

Foreign and Commonwealth Office says visitors should not hand documents to Israeli officials unless absolutely necessary

Britons travelling to Israel are warned not to hand their passports over to Israeli officials unless it is absolutely necessary in travel advice issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The advice, posted on the FCO website yesterday, serves to underline the government's anger and grave concern over the forged passports controversy.

The advisory was issued on the back of information from the Serious Organised Crime Agency. FCO officials admitted such a step was not usual but said it had a "duty" to protect British citizens whose lives might be endangered.

It follows Britain's belief that passports were copied by Israel at Ben Gurion airport.

Comment: Still good advice. The Israeli government is not to be trusted with documents from other countries.

Evidence suggests US special forces have killed 10 civilians in Somalia

Civilians killed by US soldiers
Civilians killed by US soldiers
An investigation by The Daily Beast on the ground in Somalia appears to confirm that American soldiers were involved directly in the deaths of 10 innocent civilians.

Updated with Defense Department response appended, 1:30 p.m. EST, Nov. 29, 2017.

It was around five in the morning when Abdullahi Elmi heard the gunfire. Sitting in his small home in Bariire, in southern Somalia, the farm administrator had been recording the names of the laborers who had worked the day before. Stacks of accounting books sprawled on the floor around him. Across the room, his wife sat with their 3-year-old son who dozed as his mother rocked him back and forth in her arms.

When the sound of gunshots began, Abdullahi thought they were too far away to be heading toward his farm. But within seconds they seemed to grow louder, and closer, sending Abdullahi and his wife, carrying their young son, sprinting through the nearby forest of banana trees in search of safety.

'Libya slave trade' ruse: Macron announces EU plans to take military action in Libya

French President Emmanuel Macron said Wednesday EU leaders were pondering to crack down collectively on people's smugglers in Libya, in an interview with a local news network.

"We are proposing to take police and military action. We are not waging war but this is a country in a political transition," he told France 24.

He said groups of human traffickers were smuggling people from the Sahel region to the Mediterranean coast, from where they were sent on their way to Europe. Thousands have perished in the sea.

European and African officials have been meeting in Abidjan in Cote d'Ivoire to address this and other issues. Macron said he had discussed Libya action with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni.

Libya is one of the main transit countries for migrants. According to UN figures, 90 percent of migrants, who cross the Mediterranean to Europe depart from Libya. The civil war in Libya, as well as the unstable situation in the region, have brought the humanitarian situation in the country to a critical state. Over a million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in Libya.

Comment: What a mess. They created this situation by "taking military action", and now they're going to "take military action" to undo the mess. Good luck with that.

Now we see why the MSM has been pushing this 'Libya black slave trade' misinfo of late:

"Libyan slave trade" story is fake news

Trump retweets anti-Islamist tweets from far-right Britain First leader - world goes crazy in response

trump
© Jim Bourg / Reuters
US President Donald Trump has gone on an anti-Muslim retweeting spree, sharing three tweets originally posted by the deputy leader of far-right group Britain First Jayda Fransen. The three tweets all include violent videos of Muslims, including one where a teen is thrown off a roof and beaten to death.

Comment: Would videos of American cops beating mentally ill children be anti-American? Would videos of Israeli troops shooting Palestinian children be anti-Semitic? The only thing anti-Muslim about the tweets is that they came from Jayda Fransen.

Trump beamed out his retweeted death videos in quick succession to his 45 million followers on Wednesday morning.

Comment: London mayor Khan: "Britain first is a vile, hate-fuelled organisation whose views should be condemned, not amplified." Jeremy Corbyn: "I hope our Government will condemn far-right retweets by Donald Trump. They are abhorrent, dangerous and a threat to our society." Piers Morgan, who has been a supporter of Trump in the past, tweeted: "Good morning Mr President - what the hell are you doing retweeting a bunch of unverified videos by Britain First, a bunch of disgustingly racist far-right extremists? Please STOP this madness & undo your re-tweets." Even Paul Joseph Watson was critical:

White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders "said Wednesday that she was not sure how Trump found the videos, which he retweeted from the leader of an extreme far-right British group."
Asked if the president had a responsibility to verify the content, Sanders said: "Whether it's a real video, the threat is real and that is what the president is talking about."
...
The tweets drew a sharp condemnation from British Prime Minister Theresa May's office, which said it was "wrong for the president to have done this."
...
President Donald Trump says in a tweet that British Prime Minister Theresa May should focus not on him but "on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom."

But this takes the cake: The guy destroying the Virgin Mary statue was an American-supported FSA militant:

Atta is wrong about one thing though: Salafists are Muslims, same as ultra-conservative Orthodox Jews are Jewish. Saying he's "not a Muslim" is like saying Stalin wasn't a communist.

Flashback Dr. Keith Ablow: Donald Trump is "stone cold sane"

trump
Let me issue the standard disclaimer of psychiatrists who discuss the mental health of public figures: I have not personally examined President Trump.

Now, let me put to rest the concerns of Sen. Al Franken and political commentators John Oliver and Andrew Sullivan and anyone else who publicly or privately has questioned the president's sanity:

Donald Trump is stone cold sane.

When a man acquires billions of dollars through complex real estate transactions, invests in many countries, goes on to phenomenal success in television and turns his name into a worldwide brand, it is very unlikely that he is mentally unstable.

When the same man obviously enjoys the love and respect of his children and his wife, who seem to rely on him for support and guidance, it is extraordinarily unlikely that he is mentally unstable.

Why the US wants to sever ties with the Palestinian Liberation Organization

Unfortunately, Trump's team has no concrete strategy and no frame of reference.

On Nov. 18, just days before the 50th anniversary of United Nations Resolution 242, the U.S. State Department took its first step towards severing its ties with the Palestinian Liberation Organization.

The timing of this decision could not be any more profound.

The first formal contact between the U.S. and the PLO occurred in mid-December, 1988, when U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia, Robert H. Pelletreau Jr., picked up the phone to call the PLO headquarters in Tunis to schedule formal talks.

Palestinian PLO officials were "elated" by the fact that the U.S. made the first move, as reported by the New York Times.

This assertion, however, is quite misleading. For over a decade prior to that "first move," PLO chairman Yasser Arafat had to satisfy many U.S. demands in exchange for this low-level political engagement.
