Going insane

"Betting against Donald Trump is usually a bad idea."
— Insurrection Barbie on "X"
What apparently riles the credentialed political Left — the "gay/race communists" in the apt new phrase — more than anything, is that most of the country has opted to not be insane. This follows a decade-long attempt to drive the country insane, of course, to believe in things that are patently untrue and absurd, and to utilize falsehood and absurdity to garishly destroy the nation.

So, it fits that Donald Trump, the uber-realist of political game-playing, pushes what remains of the Democratic Party into a rapture of impotent rage. They've got nothing left but the empty acting-out of lunatics in an asylum of their own making. The wrathful grass-widows choking on their chardonnay in Martha's Vineyard, the furious nose-rings steaming under their keffiyehs in the summer heat, the "Transtifas" storming police lines with their ridiculous umbrellas, the doddering Boomer-hippies reenacting the festive protest marches of 1968, minus a single coherent principle, the wigged-out congresspersons storming the ICE detention centers, the Covid vaccine victims duped into multiple organ failure (their hearts and brains especially), the "allies" of every loser group from Bangor to Brentwood in a frenzy of baffled grievance — these poor, lost wretches so far gone that even the likes of David Axelrod, James Carville, and Frank Luntz can't stand to be associated with them anymore — is all the Democrats have left in their manure-stuffed donkey stable.

The abiding mystery remains: what exactly set in motion this fantastic cascade of political madness, especially among the highly educated demographic. The seemingly obvious answer is higher education itself, infested since the 1960s with Marxist zealots, sexual malcontents, and resentment-filled diversity hires. And while that has surely played its part, it doesn't sufficiently explain the ugly dynamic.

Comment: The gov needs to be reminded of what 'sanity' is, what sanity does and who it is for.

Russian warship openly escorts 'shadow fleet' tankers through English Channel for first time

Russia Navy Corvette class Boikiy
The Boikiy (hull number 532) is a Project 20380 corvette commissioned into the Baltic Fleet in 2013. It is equipped with a 100mm A-190 naval gun, Uran anti-ship missiles, Redut air defense system, and Paket-NK torpedo launchers.
Russia has conducted its first documented naval escort of sanctioned tankers through the English Channel, signaling a shift in its approach to maritime sanctions enforcement.

On June 16, AIS tracking data confirmed that the Russian Navy's Steregushchiy-class corvette Boikiy accompanied two shadow fleet tankers, the Selva and the Sierra, both under Western sanctions, as they transited toward Russian ports.

According to Army Recognition on June 23, the Selva, also known as Nostos or Naxos, was initially flagged under Panama but was later verified as operating under the flag of Palau. The Sierra, listed as Suvorovsky Prospekt, is sanctioned by both the UK and EU.

Comment: The MSM is propagating the scary phrase "shadow fleet". This is a term coined by Lloyds of London for any ship not insured with that organization. It was thought that denying insurance to ships intending to carry Russian imports or exports would contribute to strangling its economy. Instead, independent ship owners followed the strategies described above and insured them through companies (often Russian) that sprang up to fill the gap. If there's money to be made, it will be made, politics be damned.

What means 'winning'?

At one level, Iran plainly 'won'. Trump had wanted to be regaled with a reality-TV style, splendid 'Victory'. Sunday's attack on the three nuclear sites indeed was loudly proclaimed by Trump and Hegseth as such - having 'obliterated' Iran's nuclear enrichment programme, they claimed. 'Destroyed it completely', they insist.

Only ... it didn't: The strike caused superficial surface damage, perhaps. And seemingly was co-ordinated in advance with Iran via intermediaries to be a 'once and done' affair. This is a habitual Trump pattern (advance co-ordination). It was the mode in Syria, Yemen and even with Trump's assassination of Qasem Soleimani - all intended to give Trump a quick media 'victory'.

The so-called 'ceasefire' that rapidly followed the U.S. strikes - albeit not without some hiccoughs - was a hastily assembled 'cessation of hostilities' (and no ceasefire - as no terms were agreed). It was a 'stop-gap'. What this means is that the negotiating impasse between Iran and Witkoff remains unresolved.

The Supreme Leader has forcefully laid down Iran's position: 'No surrender'; Enrichment proceeds; and the U.S. should quit the region and keep its nose out of Iranian affairs.

So, on the positive side of cost-benefit analysis, Iran likely has enough centrifuges and 450 kg of highly enriched uranium - and nobody (except Iran) now knows where the stash is hidden. Iran will resume processing. A second plus for Iran is that the IAEA and its Director-General Grossi have been so egregiously subversive of Iranian sovereignty that the Agency most likely will be expelled from Iran. The Agency failed in its basic responsibility to safeguard sites at which enriched uranium was present.

The U.S. and European intelligence services thus will lose their 'eyes' on the ground - as well as forego the IAEA's Artificial Intelligence data collection (on which Israel's identification of targets likely was heavily dependent).

Iran's top military commander on Sunday questioned Israel's commitment to a recently agreed ceasefire following 12 days of fighting, warning that Tehran was prepared to respond forcefully to any renewed aggression, according to the semi-official Tasnim news agency.

Abdolrahim Mousavi, chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, made the remarks during a phone call with Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, as the two discussed the conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.

Comment: It is interesting that the content of the phone call was relayed in such detail by Xinhua News Agency, "the official state news agency of the People's Republic of China."

Canada caves: Scraps tax on US tech firms after Trump suspends talks

Canada's government announced late Sunday that it would scrap its digital services tax on U.S. technology companies, paving the way for the resumption of trade talks that President Trump suspended late last week.

Canada's government had planned to begin collecting the tax on Monday but said Sunday it no longer would do so "in anticipation of a mutually beneficial comprehensive trade agreement with the United States," according to Canada's Department of Finance.

Officials said Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Trump agreed to resume negotiations, aiming to strike a deal by July 21.

Comment: The New York Post adds:
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney caved just hours before the new levy was slated to go into effect on Monday, as the country scrambles to revive stalled trade negotiations ahead of a looming July 21 deadline.

A fuming Trump had nixed the talks Friday after Canada said it was sticking with its plan to slap companies — including Amazon, Google, Meta, Uber and Airbnb — with a 3% levy on revenue from Canadian users.

The tax would have been applied retroactively, leaving the companies with a $2 billion bill due in the US at the end of the month.

Trump ripped the tax and quickly vowed to set a new tariff rate on Canadian goods within the next week, threatening to upend US-Canada relations once again.

"They are obviously copying the European Union, which has done the same thing, and is currently under discussion with us, also. Based on this egregious Tax, we are hereby terminating ALL discussions on Trade with Canada, effective immediately."

"We will let Canada know the Tariff that they will be paying to do business with the United States of America within the next seven-day period. Thank you for your attention to this matter!" he added.
How has Canada managed to elect such a string of losers as prime minister? (Probably the same way the US did until the "too big to rig" election came along . . . . . )

Researcher suggests Biden's autopen signatures may not be his but are likely Jill's

biden trump autopen white house portraits
This would mean all autopen-signed documents are forgeries

A Missouri pharmacist suspects the Biden autopen signature is bigger than already reported.

On February 20, 2021 a Missouri pharmacist reached out to The Gateway Pundit and shared his observations on Biden's signature to date. (This was only a few weeks after Biden stepped into the White House and no doubt one of the first observations on Joe Biden's signature on official documents.)

This pharmacist noted:
I am a pharmacist in Missouri. I read a few days ago that none of Biden's Executive Orders have been posted to the Federal Register, so I looked, then, a few days ago. Those Executive Orders are showing up. However, I believe I have accidentally discovered his signature may be a forgery. I just sat on this discovery, thinking someone else more important would notice it. I guess no one has yet.

Part of my job as a pharmacist is to watch for forged doctor signatures and I am pretty sure Joe's are forged. I suspect that he is embarrassed by his shaky signature and had his wife sign for his signature stamp used for official business. As you can see on the attachment the last three signatures are identical, indicative of a stamp, and that's fine as long as it is his signature. Maybe that's easier to submit to the Federal Register. Otherwise, I believe it is illegal to have someone else sign for a signature stamp that binds a legal document. I have seen the signature of doctors get shaky at the end of their careers, but never change in a single year as Joe's purportedly has done.

Palantir's Shadow War On Iran

Palantir
© Global Delinquents
As the dust settles on the "12 Day War", it is ever-clearer that the conflict was a crushing defeat for Israel and the US. In retrospect, the Zionist entity's sole success was a wave of assassinations in the conflict's first hours. A fawning June 19th Financial Times report hinted cutting-edge technology drawing together diverse data and intelligence sources was responsible. This raises the obvious question of whether Tel Aviv was assisted in its murderous spree by notorious private spying giant Palantir.

An avowedly pro-Israel tech giant founded by Donald Trump confidante and ardent Zionist Peter Thiel, which reportedly provides artificial intelligence tech supporting Tel Aviv's genocide in Gaza, Palantir's tendrils extend typically unseen into almost every conceivable sphere of public and private life across the West. Moreover, the firm - launched with seed funding from CIA venture capital wing In-Q-Tel - has long-played a pivotal but barely acknowledged role in the International Atomic Energy Agency's monitoring of Tehran's nuclear research.

The interpretation Palantir was one way or another involved in Israel's illegal "preemptive" war of aggression against Tehran is amply reinforced by the release of sensitive Israeli documents by Iran's intelligence ministry. These files indicate the IAEA previously provided Israeli intelligence with the names of several Iranian nuclear scientists, who were subsequently assassinated. Additionally, current Association chief Rafael Grossi enjoys a close, long-running, clandestine relationship with Israeli officials. Subsequent disclosures could expose the IAEA's dark alliance with Palantir.

NASA's been pulling out of major astronomy meetings — and scientists are feeling the effects

NASA

"We are given rules by our own institutions about what we can and cannot say."

Something was missing at the American Astronomical Society's 246th meeting this year, a conference sometimes referred to as the "Superbowl of Astronomy."

It's a meeting that brings many of the country's most renowned scientists into the same room to share what they've been working on and thinking about lately; as you can imagine, that tends to organically foster brand new ideas for exploring the universe. Being at these events, you can almost feel study blueprints sprouting up all around you in real-time. It's electric.

But this summer, NASA wasn't there. And in fact, the National Science Foundation cancelled its planned talk at the meeting, too.

Both institutions are household names in the astronomy community, and for good reason. They keep some of the field's most vital instruments running — things like the powerful James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), the trusty Hubble Space Telescope, the massive Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope (DKIST) and LIGO, the awesome gravitational wave detector that can sense black holes colliding across the universe. It therefore makes sense that both NASA and NSF usually penetrate these conferences from all directions.

However, at the last minute, both decided to cancel their formal attendance at this summer's meeting — and their lack of presence was palpable.

Joining forces: Time for Jews to unite in the struggle against Zionism, apartheid and genocide

Protesters
© Jewish Anti-Zionist CongressJewish anti-Zionist network protest march • Vienna, Austria
The First Jewish Anti-Zionist Congress will take place from June 13 to 15 in Vienna, Austria, with the aim of amplifying Jewish voices against Zionism and assisting the global movement for justice and liberation in Palestine.

Anti-Zionism is as old as political Zionism. Both movements were born in the same year, 1896. One was a small movement, started by a Viennese journalist, Theodor Herzl, while the other was a mass movement of Jewish workers in Eastern Europe and Russia - the Socialist Labour Bund. While the Bund became a large movement in several East European countries - in Poland, for example, it was the second largest party in the Seym, the Polish Parliament - Zionism represented less than 1% of the Jewish population in Europe. During the great period of Jewish emigration out of Eastern Europe starting in 1881, millions of Jews immigrated to North and South America, Britain, South Africa, and Australia. During the same period, a few thousand Zionist Jews immigrated to Palestine.

Iran's complaint to the United Nations

direct hit
© UnknownSmoke rises from a direct hit.
I am writing to you with utmost urgency and deep alarm regarding a brazen and unlawful act of aggression perpetrated by the Israeli regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran. In a reckless and deliberate escalation that flagrantly violates the Charter of the United Nations and the most fundamental norms of international law, Israel has launched a coordinated series of military assaults targeting several Iranian cities and peaceful nuclear facilities, senior military officials, scientists and civilians.

Among the targets was the Natanz nuclear facility, one of Iran's principal nuclear sites, which operates under the full safeguards and monitoring of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This reckless attack has not only endangered Iranian civilian lives, but also posed an alarming threat to regional and international peace and security by risking a radiological disaster. Any deliberate military targeting of nuclear facilities under international safeguards constitutes a grave violation of international law. This dangerous assault further undermines the global non-proliferation regime and the integrity of the IAEA mission.

Simultaneously, a number of targeted assassinations of senior Iranian military officials and scientists have been carried out in the capital, Tehran. These deliberate and premeditated acts constitute clear instances of state terrorism. The responsibility for these heinous crimes has been publicly and arrogantly claimed by the regime's Prime Minister himself, constituting an open admission of responsibility.

Comment: Other than the fact that the UN is impotent...it may be worth the try.
