Abbas: Palestinians withdraw from all US and Israeli agreements

The head of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, has repeatedly warned Israel that he will tear up any bilateral agreements with the Jewish state if Tel Aviv attempts to further extend its sovereignty over parts of the West Bank, a possibility left open by Israel's new unity government.

Palestinians have terminated all agreements with Israel and the US amid Tel Aviv's intention to extend its sovereignty over "the Palestinian lands", the head of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, stated Tuesday to Al Jazeera TV channel:
"The Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian State today has discharged all obligations under all agreements with the governments of the United States and Israel, including those related to security."
The agreements Abbas hinted at, without directly mentioning them, allegedly include a series of documents signed in the 1990s during the Israeli-Palestinian conflict resolution process among which are the Oslo Accords, the 1997 Hebron Protocol and the 1998 Wye River Memorandum.

Zelenskiy announced an investigation Wednesday into the leaked tapes that allegedly feature the country's former president Petro Poroshenko and former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and appear to be yet another episode of an anti-Biden campaign waged by a Ukrainian lawmaker.
Ukrainian lawmakers released the recording of a 2016 phone call between Joe Biden and then-President Petro Poroshenko. In the recording, Poroshenko told Biden he asked prosecutor general Viktor Shokin to resign.

Biden has since admitted that he blocked aid to Ukraine unless the prosecutor was fired over Shokin's investigation into gas company Burisma and his son Hunter.

"I'm a man of my word and now that the new prosecutor general is in place, we're ready to move forward to signing the $1 billion loan guarantee," Biden stated.

He also asked Poroshenko to nationalize Ukraine's largest bank, which is a move that was reversed because it's considered illegal by the new Ukrainian government.

Despite Moderna's cheery press release this morning, the clinical trial results for its groundbreaking COVID vaccine could not be much worse.

The vaccine, developed and championed by Anthony Fauci and financed by Bill Gates,used an experimental MRNA technology that the two men hoped would allow rapid deployment to meet President Trump's ambitions "warp speed" time line.

Dr. Fauci was so confident of his shot's safety that he waved ferret and primate studies ( Moderna suspiciously reported no health data from its mouse studies). That appears to have been a mistake.

Three of the 15 human guinea pigs in the high dose cohort (250 mcg) suffered a "serious adverse event" within 43 days of receiving Moderna's jab.

Moderna did not release its clinical trial study or raw data,but its press release,which was freighted with inconsistencies acknowledged that three volunteers developed Grade 3 systemic events defined by the FDA as "Preventing daily activity and requiring medical intervention. "

Anniversaries commemorate past events. And you could be forgiven for thinking that an event which happened 72 years ago is indeed in the past.

This is true of most anniversaries, except when it comes to the Nakba, the "disaster, catastrophe or cataclysm" that marks the partition of Mandatory Palestine in 1948 and the creation of Israel.

The Nakba is not a past event. The dispossession of lands, homes and the creation of refugees have continued almost without pause since. It is not something that happened to your great grandparents.

It happens or could happen to you any time in your life.

'We'll cut off the whole relationship' -Trump threatened China in a recent Fox-Business interview, suggesting he may cut diplomatic relations with China and thereby saving US$ 500 billion. He didn't say how, though.

Mr. Trump's anger referred to what he calls China's "mismanagement" of the corona crisis. This is consistent with the new China bashing hard line being pushed by his administration. "I'm very disappointed in China," Trump said during the same Fox interview. "We asked to go over and they said no," he continued, referring to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) February offer of assistance to the virus-stricken city of Wuhan. "They didn't want our help. And I figured that was OK because they must know what they are doing. So, it was either stupidity, incompetence or deliberate."

These are strong and unsubstantiated words, since there has never been a clearly documented accusation against China in how precisely China mismanaged the COVID-19 outbreak and is supposedly responsible for the COVID crisis in the US where real mismanagement, corruption, conflict of interest and particularly pharma-interests, competing private vaccine company interests are written all over the walls, the walls of shame, falsifying corona statistics, by falsifying death certificates, paying hospitals for declaring any patient a COVID-patient, even if many of them aren't, and for using ventilators, though it is widely known that ventilators are causing death in 60% to 80% of patients.

President Trump announced an executive order Tuesday that aims to make hundreds of deregulations in the age of coronavirus permanent, something that would amount to a massive overhaul of regulatory policy.

"We've done far more regulation cutting than any president in history," Trump said at a Cabinet meeting ahead of signing the order.

Fox News is told the executive order tells regulatory agencies to look at more than 600 regulatory actions -- mostly deregulations, but also regulations and guidance -- taken during the coronavirus pandemic and tell the White House which ones should be made permanent.

In a successful operation against ISIS in Diyali province on Tuesday, Iraqi Shia militias discovered and annihilated 6 terrorist bases and managed to kill 4 of them, the Arabic-language al-Akhbariyeh news website quoted a security source in eastern Iraq.

The report states that the security and intelligence forces in cooperation with counterterrorism units in Diyali province found and destroyed 6 hideouts of the ISIS terrorists in the Wadi al-Thalab region and killed four of them.

In another development on Tuesday, the brigade 23 of Hashd al-Shaabi (Iraqi popular forces) engaged in clashes with the ISIS terrorists in the al-Azim region, killing a number of them near the village of Albu Mare'i.

When the Dodd Frank Act was passed in 2010, President Obama triumphantly declared, "No more bailouts!" But what the Act actually said was that the next time the banks failed, they would be subject to "bail ins" - the funds of their creditors, including their large depositors, would be tapped to cover their bad loans.

Then bail-ins were tried in Europe. The results were disastrous.

Many economists in the US and Europe argued that the next time the banks failed, they should be nationalized - taken over by the government as public utilities. But that opportunity was lost when, in September 2019 and again in March 2020, Wall Street banks were quietly bailed out from a liquidity crisis in the repo market that could otherwise have bankrupted them. There was no bail-in of private funds, no heated congressional debate, and no public vote. It was all done unilaterally by unelected bureaucrats at the Federal Reserve.

"The justification of private profit," said President Franklin Roosevelt in a 1938 address, "is private risk." Banking has now been made virtually risk-free, backed by the full faith and credit of the United States and its people. The American people are therefore entitled to share in the benefits and the profits. Banking needs to be made a public utility.

Leaked phone calls between Joe Biden and former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko explicitly detail the quid-pro-quo arrangement to fire former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Victor Shokin - who Poroshenko admits did nothing wrong - in exchange for $1 billion in US loan guarantees (which Biden openly bragged about in January, 2018).

The calls were leaked by Ukrainian MP Andrii Derkach, who says the recordings of "voices similar to Poroshenko and Biden" were given to him by investigative journalists who claim Poroshenko made them.

Shokin was notably investigating Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company that hired Biden's son, Hunter, to sit on its board. Shokin had opened a case against Burisma's founder, Mykola Zlochevsky, who granted Burisma permits to drill for oil and gas in Ukraine while he was Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources. In January, 2019, Shokin stated in a deposition that there were five criminal cases against Zlochevesky, including money laundering, corruption, illegal funds transfers, and profiteering through shell corporations while he was a sitting minister.
