The United Kingdom has secretly resettled thousands of Afghans who worked with British forces, the British government revealed on Tuesday.

The secret relocation scheme followed a 2022 data leak on their identities, sparking fears for their safety from the Taliban government.

What did the UK government say?

Defence Minister John Healey unveiled the scheme to parliament.

"This was a serious departmental error," Healey said, in reference to the data leak, adding that "lives may have been at stake."

The previous Conservative government put in place a secret program to help those "judged to be at the highest risk of reprisals by the Taliban," he said.

The program later became known as the Afghan Response Route. Under it, some 900 Afghans and 3,600 family members have either been brought to Britain or are currently in transit.

Maurene Comey, who is the daughter of the former F.B.I. director James Comey, worked on the criminal cases against Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Maurene Comey, a Manhattan federal prosecutor who worked on the criminal cases against Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, was abruptly fired on Wednesday by the Trump administration, according to six people with knowledge of the matter.

Though the reason for Ms. Comey's firing was not immediately clear, her dismissal immediately raised questions, given her involvement in the Epstein-related cases that have roiled the White House in recent days.

Ms. Comey was informed of her firing in a letter that cited Article II of the Constitution, which describes the powers of the president, according to two of the people.

Ms. Comey is also the daughter of the former F.B.I. director James Comey, an adversary of President Trump who has recently been under scrutiny by federal law enforcement authorities.

Pentagon says Aspen Security Forum's values do not align with the US department of defence

Pete Hegseth has banned Pentagon officials from speaking at a security conference because it promotes "evil globalism".

Senior figures in the US defence department were set to speak at the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado this week, following a tradition under both Democrat and Republican administrations.

However, Mr Hegseth, the US defence secretary, has blocked his department from taking part in the four-day event, which is hosted by the Aspen Institute think tank.

Kingsley Wilson, a Pentagon spokeswoman, told Just the News that Mr Hegseth's office believes it "promotes the evil of globalism, disdain for our great country, and hatred for the president of the United States".

Comment: The Aspen Security Forum is one of those elite gathering of those who think they know better than the peons, to wine, dine and commiserate how difficult their jobs are trying to run the world. Decades of bad ideas have incubated there.

The Albanese government claimed it had nothing to do with a $900 million contract with Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems. It in fact directly signed it and closely vetted all stages of its engagement.

The federal government directly approved and signed off on the participation of Israeli weapons firm Elbit Systems in a major Australian defence procurement — contrary to denials by defence ministers Richard Marles and Pat Conroy, documents obtained under freedom of information reveal.

Elbit Systems, a company deeply engaged in and profiting from Israel's genocide in Gaza, provided the drone used by the Israel Defense Forces to execute Australian aid worker Zomi Frankcom, along with six of her colleagues, in a deliberate and targeted attack on aid workers in April 2024.

On May 12th, US ambassador to Syria 2011 - 2014 Robert Ford gave a talk to the Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs. Over the course of his oratory, he issued a bombshell disclosure - in 2023, a British "non-governmental organisation" specialised in "conflict resolution" made him an extraordinary offer. They sought Ford's personal assistance in transforming - the Al Qaeda and ISIS-offshoot that now claims to rule Syria - from 'terrorists' into politicians.

The NGO was particularly interested in rebranding Ahmed Hussein Sharaa, also known as Abu Mohammad Jolani, who is now Syria's self-appointed President. Captured as a senior Al Qaeda commander in Mosul, Iraq in 2006, he was inexplicably released from US custody in 2011, just as the foreign-fomented Syrian "revolution" was brewing. Ford explained he met Sharaa on two separate occasions, first in September 2023, then in January 2024 after HTS had seized Damascus. Kiev is showing signs of dictatorship and economic degradation like the Third Reich before it fell, the former Russian president has said.

Ukraine bears similarities to the Nazi state at the end of World War II and should undergo "demilitarization,""denazification," and "democratization" in a manner similar to postwar Germany, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has told TASS.

He spoke to the Russian news agency on Thursday, the 80th anniversary of the Potsdam Conference, which began on July 17, 1945. The conference was the last wartime meeting between leaders of the Soviet Union, the United States, and the United Kingdom. It laid the groundwork for postwar Europe, including plans for Germany's demilitarization and denazification.

Medvedev, who currently serves as deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, explained that the concept of the "three D's" had originally been formulated for Nazi Germany, which he described as an aggressor state that had disrupted the international order, according to TASS.

"The 1945 Reich and modern Ukraine are, of course, very different - in scale, global role, and even (formally) in state ideology. But there is also obvious similarity."

Declassified documents show top Obama-era officials overruled intelligence findings to manufacture the 'Russiagate' narrative, Gabbard says.

Former President Barack Obama's administration deliberately manipulated intelligence to frame Russia for interfering in the 2016 presidential election, according to newly declassified documents released on Friday by America's Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

Gabbard unveiled more than 100 pages of emails, memos, and internal communications, which she described as "overwhelming evidence" of a coordinated effort by senior Obama-era officials to politicize intelligence and launch the multi-year Trump-Russia collusion investigation. She dubbed it "a treasonous conspiracy to subvert the will of the American people."

The scandal severely damaged relations between Moscow and Washington, leading to sanctions, asset seizures, and a breakdown in normal diplomacy.

What else could it be? The agenda and the goons running it have to believe that the people of the world are not only useless eaters, but as about as sharp as a bag of marbles.

This is very sad, but there is no other explanation for it.

Remember when you were a young idiot, say around 17 or so (just assuming a few of you were like me at that age — for the most part, an adolescent, immature, idiot). And you might get involved in some cruel joke with a less fortunate fellow idiot in your class.

I mean a kid who wasn't totally together, not really bad off (you would never do this to someone really bad off, I know I didn't), but just not as sharp as you or your cohorts. You would tease him (usually a "him"), yeah, that's what it was, innocent "teasing." And you and your buddies would laugh and laugh — you couldn't believe how naive this guy was.

He would believe anything, no matter how preposterous.

I always think of Anthony Fauci when this idea comes up. He must have gone home laughing every time he made one of his news briefs. "Now it might be a good idea to wear two masks!" Hilarious. "Can you believe that???" He probably exclaimed, "They bought that?" How f — ing stupid are these people?" That's sad. Very sad.

But tell me if you have a better explanation for the last five years. And before that as well. What else could it be?

I think at one time, way back when, they went through a bit of trouble to trick us. They had not yet had enough experience to know "the people" would buy, for a fact, anything they threw at them. They probably thought they had to go through some effort to make it at least somewhat believable. Look at the JFK assassination.
