Former CBS correspondent Sharyl Attkisson accused the Department of Justice (DOJ) of monkeying around with her hard drive while her computer was in their possession. She tweeted on Thursday, "What would you think if I told you the hard drive of one of my personal computers was secretly switched out w/another while in custody of the Justice Dept. Inspector General -- before they gave it back to me?"

You may recall that Attkisson's computer was hacked back in 2012 while she was working for CBS and reporting on the Benghazi scandal. CBS News spokeswoman Sonya McNair said at the time that a cybersecurity firm hired by CBS News "has determined through forensic analysis" that "Attkisson's computer was accessed by an unauthorized, external, unknown party on multiple occasions in late 2012."

Immigration enforcement head blames Oakland mayor Schaaf for 800 missed arrests

illegal immigrant arrest ICE
© Charles Reed/U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Associated PressIn this Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, photo released by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, foreign nationals are arrested during a targeted enforcement operation conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) aimed at immigration fugitives, re-entrants and at-large criminal aliens in Los Angeles.
About 800 "criminals" avoided immigration arrests because Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf alerted the public to the surprise operation, an extraordinarily high number of missed targets, according to a federal official.

Thomas Homan, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's acting director, told Fox News that the mayor's warning on Twitter was "beyond the pale" and compared her to a gang lookout who tells people when a police car is arriving. Homan said the Justice Department is looking into whether Schaaf obstructed justice.

The mayor's unusual public warning last weekend came hours before the agency launched an operation in Northern California that resulted in more than 150 arrests as of Tuesday, according to the agency.

The agency declined to elaborate on the 800 who allegedly got away or answer other questions about the operation that began Sunday. Danielle Bennett, an agency spokeswoman, said more information would be released later in the week.

US propaganda may be collapsing in Syria, but the global threats remain

bombing in syria
Propaganda used by the United States and its partners amid its destructive campaign of regime change aimed at the Syrian government has collapsed. Western media platforms find themselves relying on increasingly absurd narratives told to an increasingly smaller audience. They also find themselves the targets of growing criticism from around the world.

The US and its allies are currently reporting "violations" of the UN resolution regarding a ceasefire in Ghouta despite the text of the resolution itself authorizing continued military operations against Al Qaeda and its affiliates both in Ghouta and across the rest of Syria.

The UN resolution states clearly that:
...the cessation of hostilities shall not apply to military operations against the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as Da'esh), Al Qaeda and Al Nusra Front (ANF), and all other individuals, groups, undertakings and entities associated with Al Qaeda or ISIL, and other terrorist groups, as designated by the Security Council;

Official new guidance on "equal treatment" instructs judges to favour non-white defendants in order to "redress inequality", despite recent research having found young white men to be the most derided group in Britain.

Produced by the Judicial College, the organisation responsible for training judges in Britain, the Equal Treatment Guide's latest edition says: "True equal treatment may not ... always mean treating everyone in the same way."

Google is reportedly being sued by a former recruiter who claims he was dismissed for not rejecting white and Asian male job applicants. It's alleged the company instigated a policy to further workforce diversity.

Recruitment specialist Arne Wilberg, an employee at Google and its YouTube unit for nine years as a contractor and employee, filed a lawsuit in California, according to Bloomberg. The suit reportedly claims that his employment was terminated after he complained to human resources that Google discriminated against white and Asian men in favor of applicants who were Hispanic, African American or female. It's also alleged that management deleted emails and other records about diversity requirements late last year.

Hated in the Nation, online mobbing and the removal of all 'negative people' from one's life

Peterson
In the season finale of Black Mirror (S03 E06)-"Hated in the Nation"-a hacker uses Automated Drone bees to kill all of the internet trolls in the U.K. All of their Facebook-liking cheerleaders are killed too, as well as everyone who's ever participated in a Twitter pile-on (e.g., all of the progressives who participated in the online mobbing of a provocative, politically-incorrect journalist are killed, as well as all of the conservatives who participated in an equally nasty pile-on). If something like this happened, would it lead to a better world? I doubt it. I think it would be like destroying a person's immune system to kill off a treatable infection. Some trolls are like viruses, it's true; but others are like white blood cells. Alas, telling them apart is no easy task.

If Socrates was alive today and on Facebook he'd be that annoying guy that keeps asking uncomfortable questions, bringing up annoying facts. This was, writes John Ralston Saul, his modus operandi: "He spent his life wandering around Athens annoying everyone in the city." Trolls used to wander around the internet doing the same thing. But they've been doing it less and less these days because it's getting easier and easier to block them. In the Wild West days of the internet, when online communities tended to govern themselves anarchically, troll management was all about extinction. Hence the expression: "Don't Feed the Troll!"

The problem is America: The malignant cultural hegemony

2016 US republican candidates debate
© Unknown
What is wrong with the American people? After several years of horrific policy toward the waking world, democracy's standard bearers seem to be drowning in a lake of selfishness. Distracted, apathetic, or simply dumbed and numbed by unrelenting propaganda, the most admired society on Earth has turned to a wriggling mush of diverging ideals. I fear that American have become what we ultimately deplored, just another despicable cultural hegemony. Here's a short brief on the matter.

A recent article by James Carden at The Nation prompted me to discuss this unsavory truth today. The title of the piece, "Trump's Syria Policy: Perpetual War Without Debate", provides a stunning introduction for my "proofs" of America's war on peace. But, the reader need not read Carden's story to understand that the United States has been transformed into a lawless international pirate state. This paragraph is evidence enough our government has gone rogue:
"Currently there are, in the absence of congressional authorization and in violation of international law (since the United States was not attacked by Syria, nor are US troops there at the invitation of the sovereign Syrian government), an estimated 2,000 American troops based in Syria. Given this, it was odd, though hardly surprising, when major US media outlets like CNN carried the news that American occupying troops were acting "defensively" last week when the United States launched a series of strikes against regime forces, killing over 100 Syrian soldiers, in retaliation for an attack on a headquarters of US-allied Syrian Democratic Forces in Khusham. Reports emerged this week that perhaps dozens, if not hundreds, of Russian mercenaries were also killed in the US attack."

Comment: If there is one word that explains all the problems of the most powerful Empire in the modern human history, it will be "Psychopath". Psychopaths invaded all walks of life including government, Military, Media, Politics, Wall Street, Corporations, Foreign Policy, Education, Technology, ponerized the human mind with their all encompassing power, hypnotized the common man to be obedient and subservient citizen while making them pretend to be exceptional. The parasitic nature of psychopathy sucked every thing from the planet and common man to enrich top 1% of wealthiest in wealthiest at the expense all else.

Sick society: Israeli soldiers brutally assault wounded man, leave him to die

On the night of 22 February 2018, at approximately 1:00 A.M., about twenty Israeli soldiers entered the city center of Jericho in the West Bank. According to the military, they were on a mission to carry out arrests in the city. Some fifteen minutes later, several soldiers entered a home and searched it, while others waited at the entrance to the alley where the house was located. The soldiers' presence led to clashes in which Palestinians threw stones at the soldiers. At some point, Yassin a-Saradih (35) ran with an iron bar attached to a car wheel rim towards the soldiers who were standing at the entrance to the alley, in an attempt to attack them.

In video footage captured by security cameras of nearby stores, a-Saradih is seen running towards the soldiers with the bar. A soldier then shoots him in the lower body at point blank range. After the shooting, three other soldiers emerge from the alley and all four forcefully kick a-Saradih, who is lying on the ground. The soldiers are seen beating him with their rifles and dragging him into the alley. There, they continue to drag him along face down and then lean over him, shine flashlights on him, kick him lightly and move him with their feet. After about ten minutes, during which time they offer the wounded man no medical assistance, one of the soldiers fires a tear-gas cannister at the entrance to the alley. The soldiers are then seen dragging a-Saradih into the alley, out of the cameras' range, apparently to avoid the tear gas that drifted their way.

Jackson Middle School student Keith Simons, 13, was found dead in one of the school bathrooms with a semi-automatic rifle. The seventh-grader first left the bathroom with the .22 caliber weapon intending to begin his assault, but quickly changed his mind, went back inside, and turned the gun on himself.
