A California man is charged with threatening to kill FCC Chairman Ajit Pai's children because he was "angry" about the repeal of net neutrality regulations, the Justice Department said today.

Markara Man, 33, of Norwalk was arrested in Los Angeles and charged with threatening to murder an immediate family member of a U.S. official.

Prosecutors say Man sent three emails to Pai in December 2017, the month the Republican-led FCC voted to repeal the Obama-era net neutrality rules.

'Protecting Israeli sovereignty': Israel boosts military presence with 'armor & artillery' troops in Golan Heights

Israel has ramped up its military presence in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights region amid recent Syrian Army advances against militants in the Deraa province, citing the need to protect "Israeli sovereignty."

Taking a defensive stance, Israel claimed the additional forces - including "armor and artillery troops" - were deployed solely to "respond" to potential incidents.

"The IDF will continue its non-intervention policy in the Syrian conflict, while reacting firmly to cases in which Israeli sovereignty or civilians are threatened," the military said. A short video, released by the IDF along with the statement, features self-propelled howitzers, armored command vehicles, and tanks.

Billy Eichner is latest Hollywood leftist calling for harassing Republicans

Comedian Billy Eichner jumped to Twitter to call for a campaign of harassment against GOP Sen. Mitch McConnell as the Senate gears up for the coming debate over the next Supreme Court nomination.

The Funny or Die alum exclaimed that the Republican Majority leader is a "monster" and liberals should "interrupt" his "every meal, and then some."

"Mitch McConnell is a monster and has always been a monster. We need to give him hell every step of the way. Interrupt every meal, and then some," Eichner tweeted on June 28.

Comment: These people are essentially calling for liberals to move towards acts of terrorism. Considering the utter lack of sanity displayed by the left for the last year and a half, it's likely that such madness will continue and escalate. And if it does escalate, it will likely result in a backlash from the right, who is far more armed than the left and values order and the family, and anyone who doesn't want to be associated with these crazies.

And that would likely not end well for anyone.

EU leaders said in a joint statement released Friday after hours-long debates in Brussels that Russia should accept its responsibility for the 2014 downing of a Malaysian plane in Ukraine.

"The European Council reiterates its full support for UNSC Resolution 2166 concerning the downing of flight MH-17. It calls on the Russian Federation to accept its responsibility and to fully cooperate with all efforts to establish truth, justice and accountability," the paper read.

Comment: Europe Diplomatic comments:
Earlier Malaysian transport minister Anthony Loke said in an interview that there was no conclusive evidence to point at Russia for the crash:

"There is no conclusive evidence to point at Russia under the JIT evidence," Malaysian transport minister Anthony Loke told Channel NewsAsia in an interview.

Just 10 rivers carry 90% of plastic polluting our oceans

Over the last decade we have become increasingly alarmed at the amount of plastic in our oceans.

More than 8 million tons of it ends up in the ocean every year. If we continue to pollute at this rate, there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean by 2050.

But where does all this plastic waste come from?

The left's overlooked immigration problems

refugees welcome demonstration
I'm still ticked off at him for not building the wall, but THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP, FOR POINTING OUT THAT MAXINE WATERS HAS A LOW I.Q.!

And there's more great news! Contrary to every single New York Times editorial and opinion piece on the president's "Muslim ban," this week, the Supreme Court upheld the ban.

Or, as a Times op-ed put it back on Jan. 27, 2017: "(T)he order is illegal. More than 50 years ago, Congress outlawed such discrimination against immigrants based on national origin. ..." -- "Trump's Immigration Ban Is Illegal," by David J. Bier, immigration policy analyst at the Cato Institute.

Comment: If a nation functions as an organism, then the metaphor for borders would be a semi-permeable membrane that selectively and intelligently lets things inside of the organism. The ideal functioning of that membrane would be to let in the good of other nations while leaving out the bad.

Clearly America's not succeeding in that regard.

'Path of Blood' documentary film-maker defends use of footage shot by al-Qaida terrorists

A Bafta-winning film-maker has defended his decision to make a documentary using video footage taken by jihadist terrorists, saying the work humanises but does not glamorise.

Path of Blood, which opens in cinemas next week, has no narrator or interviewees and relies solely on the raw footage filmed by the terrorists themselves as they plot to detonate car bombs in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

"People say 'don't give terrorists air time', but what they should say is 'understand these people'. Only by understanding the nature of their faith, the nature of their psychology will you be able to combat them," said Jonathan Hacker.

Democrats debate anti-establishment candidates despite their increasing delusions and irrelevance

The public debate for Democrats has centered around whether the party is drifting to the left.

But on the heels of Rep. Joseph Crowley's (D-N.Y.) upset primary loss to 28-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the real battle is looking more like a fight between establishment and anti-establishment forces.

"I think it's less about left-right and more about new-old," said Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), who defeated a Democratic incumbent to win his seat in Congress in 2016.

Comment: There is no left-right in American politics: there's only Deep State and not Deep State.

Comment: The Democrats have clearly and increasingly demonstrated their radical left postmodernist agenda, their delusional views of reality, and their utter uselessness over the last two years while alienating the majority of Americans. Only in their deranged fantasies will they see any gains in the upcoming elections.

Democrats becoming no party for Old White Men

Paul Ryan
© Associated PressSpeaker of the House Paul Ryan, R-Wis., joined by Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., talks to reporters following a closed-door GOP strategy session at the Capitol in Washington June 26, 2018.
For Nancy Pelosi, 78, Steny Hoyer, 79, and Joe Biden, 75, the primary results from New York's 14th congressional district are a fire bell in the night.

All may be swept away in the coming revolution. That is the message of the crushing defeat of 10-term incumbent Joe Crowley, who had aspired to succeed Pelosi and become speaker of the House.

The No. 4 House Democrat, Crowley, 56, had not faced primary opposition since 2004. He outspent his opponent, 28-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who was tending bar a year ago, by 10 to one.

The son of an Irish immigrant, Crowley was leader of the Queens Democratic Club. He had the unions' support. So confident was he that he skipped a debate and sent a Latina politician to stand in for him.

First comes Hubris, the god of arrogance. Then comes Nemesis, the goddess of retribution.

AIPAC's power: House introduces new bill empowering Donald Trump to punish US companies that boycott Israel

The House Committee on Foreign Affairs unanimously passed a measure on Thursday that would give the Trump administration power to decide how to punish U.S. companies that engage in or promote boycotts of Israel - including through criminal penalties.

The committee passed an amendment by voice vote from Rep. Ed Royce, R-Calif., that largely replaced the text of a bill called the Israel Anti-Boycott Act. When the original legislation was first introduced last year, it drew outrage from activists, and the American Civil Liberties Union warned that by threatening to impose steep criminal penalties on boycott activists engaged with international bodies' boycotts, the bill was unconstitutional.

Comment: Israel has good reason to be running scared. The world is finally becoming disgusted with 'that sh*tty little country'.
