Prof Rosa Freedman said she feared for her safety after the reaction to her discussing a government consultation on how people can change their gender.
The human rights lawyer had raised concerns on how the changes might affect women's rights.
The University of Reading said staff and student safety was a top priority.
Prof Freedman, who has said she is against self-identification, attended debates on the plans to change the Gender Recognition Act.
According to the Copenhagen-based financial institution, the upcoming year is set to be marked with X-Class solar flare that will evoke absolute chaos across the globe.
"In 2019, as Solar Cycle 25 kicks into gear, the earth isn't so lucky and a solar storm strikes the Western hemisphere, taking down most satellites on the wrong side of the earth at the time and unleashing untold chaos on GPS-reliant air and surface travel/ logistics and electric power infrastructure," Saxo's 2019 Outrageous Predictions reads.
Comment: Saxobank also predicted Russia and China would 'kneecap the petrodollar', and for a variety of reasons it certainly is falling out of favor.
It's notable that Saxobank isn't the first to draw attention to the problems posed by the grand solar minimum, because a direct hit by a massive solar flare isn't the only threat it poses:
- Professor Valentina Zharkova explains and confirms why a "Super" Grand Solar Minimum is upon us
- Volcanoes are erupting all over the place right now. Scientists have figured out why: A minute slowdown in the planet's rotation
- Scientists predict upsurge in major earthquakes for 2018 due to slowdown in Earth's rotation
- Solar minimum: The sun is getting quieter... and its rotation is slowing down

A new survey of Social Security Administration data shows that "Melania," like first lady Melania Trump, and "Ivanka," like first daughter Ivanka Trump, are a roaring pick of parents.
An AreaVibes review of names picked around the nation shows that the popularity of "Melania" has surged 227 percent, and for "Ivanka," it's up even more, 362 percent.
Archaeologists enraged after 6,000-year-old structure Stonehenge site 'damaged' during drilling work
"The drilling is alleged to have taken place through a man-made Mesolithic chalk platform at Blick Mead -- a tepid spring at the edge of the Salisbury Plain -- where archaeological excavations have been ongoing since 2005.
Archaeologists are concerned that further drilling, which is part of a $2 billion scheme to build a tunnel under the ancient site, will cause the water table to drop, potentially destroying key artifacts which have been preserved in the water-logged ground.
"This is a travesty," Professor David Jacques from the University of Buckingham said in a statement. "If the tunnel goes ahead the water table will drop and all the organic remains will be destroyed."
Doomsday Clock is an ongoing limited edition series, in which a universe of Batman and Superman gets intruded by characters (and themes) of the dark world of 'Watchmen' by Alan Moore - which is itself a deconstruction of the superhero comics. In the freshly-published issue #8, Superman visits a fictional Middle-Eastern nation ruled by supervillain/antihero Black Adam and sees scores of refugees sheltered there.
Black Adam introduces one of them, a child from Syria's Douma, saying that "his younger sister [was] gassed by Assad, the Russians' puppet." Some would say it's no big deal, considering it all happens in a world where a guy dressed in blue and red flies and shoots beams from his eyes, but can easily hide his identity by putting glasses on. By the end of the issue the US and Russia go to war, by the way.

Trash bins burn as students are rallying against the education reform in Marseille, France, December 6, 2018
Intense standoffs between students, protesting education reform, and law enforcement were reported in front of high schools in different French cities. Videos from the scenes show the police, armed with batons, riot shields and tear gas grenades trying to disperse the unruly crowds.
The protesters have been throwing Molotov cocktails and glass bottles at police officers. They also set numerous fires and burnt down several vehicles, parked nearby.
According to AFP, 146 people were arrested during the clashes near two high schools in Mantes-la-Jolie in northern Yvelines department. Two cars were burned following the standoffs.

CBS president Leslie Moonves attends the CBS Network 2015 Programming Upfront at The Tent at Lincoln Center on Wed., May 13, 2015, in New York.
According to the Times, the 59-page draft report says Moonves "deliberately lied about and minimized the extent of his sexual misconduct," partly to protect his $120 million severance package. He also allegedly deleted text messages and instructed at least one person not to speak to investigators. The report found either he or someone else handed over his son's iPad to investigators instead of his own.
"There were a lot of people at CBS that knew about the allegations against him. There were people at CBS that knew about his efforts to try and cover up his behavior and a lot of people who didn't do anything about it," said New York Times reporter Rachel Abrams.
Luxury property developer accused of Islamophobia after 'airbrushing mosque' out of marketing photos
Fairview New Homes has caused outrage among local people and attendees of the London Islamic Cultural Society and Mosque in Hornsey, north London, with their promotional shots for the new 'Altitude' development. The property developer has omitted the mosque, prompting accusations of Islamophobia for "trying to pretend" the religious building "does not exist" so that it does not harm sales.
RT's Anastasia Churkina went to the new property development to get the views of local people. One local insisted the mosque was too big for developers to simply miss it out, claiming "it's been left out deliberately. I imagine if you were a user of the local mosque you might be offended."

Instead of felony charges for sex assault by force, sex assault by a person in a position of authority and false imprisonment, the officer reached a plea deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to lesser misdemeanors of unlawful sexual contact and official misconduct.
Instead of felony charges for sex assault by force, sex assault by a person in a position of authority and false imprisonment, the officer reached a plea deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to lesser misdemeanors of unlawful sexual contact and official misconduct. As a result of the sweetheart deal, some have alleged, Arganbright now only has to serve 90 days in jail followed by four years probation, and has to register as a sex offender.
Criminal defense attorney Dan Recht told Denver's Channel 7 news the prosecution likely believed they did not have enough evidence in court to get a felony conviction. Recht described the difficult scenario.
They have a victim that was intoxicated. An officer saying that she was sexually aggressive and he foolishly and unlawfully reacted and was sexual, but that it was consensual...At the end of the day. It's clearly he said, she said. Except that he's a police officer and it's an abuse of power.
Comment: Proving yet again that the rules for those 'in authority' are vastly different than those applied to the rest of society.
The letter asked Secretary DeVos a series of questions, including two that were particularly relevant to FIRE. First they asked for "a list of all organizations, advocates, and experts that have been consulted in the process of developing [a notice of proposed rulemaking] thus far." They also requested that the Secretary "provide the analysis behind the Department's determination that the former Title IX guidance was 'widely criticized' and a 'failed system.'"
Because FIRE was one of the organizations that provided input to the Department and because we value transparency, we sent the Senators a letter to emphasize that the input we provided the current administration was consistent with the input we provided the Department during the Obama administration, and was the same input we have repeatedly provided to Congress and the public.
In order to keep the letter to a manageable length, though, we did not seek to set forth the extensive evidence behind the Department's assessment that the prior approach was "widely criticized" and "failing." It is important, however, to demonstrate the magnitude of that evidence for the public record. So here, in longer form, we are posting the evidentiary support for our statement to the Senate Democrats that our "concerns about the erosion of procedural protections have been subsequently echoed by a diverse range of widely respected organizations, individuals, legal scholars ... and an increasing number of state and federal courts."
Comment: Title IX gave accusers almost carte blanche to ruin the lives of many innocent young men:

Comment: Yet again libtards react with violence and threats against those who question their deluded world view. It says a lot about their ilk that they perpetrate the same acts of aggression they accuse others of:
