Allegations surface: Bill Gates allegedly pictured with Jeffrey Epstein's accuser in a 2014 photo

The new photos shows one of Epstein's alleged victim pictured with Gates at his Microsoft office after the woman was flown in on the financier's private jet.

A shocking new photo published by The Wall Street Journal appears to show Microsoft founder Bill Gates standing alongside a Polish model, in her 20s, who says that she was one of financier Jeffrey Epstein's alleged victims.

Gates and Epstein's friendship has been well documented with the billionaire saying he regretted their relationship. The new photo was taken in 2014, six years after Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida to procuring a child for prostitution.

During an interview with CNN this year, host Sarah Ferguson asked Gates whether he was warned by his former wife about Epstein's 'way of sexually compromising people.'

In an interview with WSJ, the Polish model says that she flew alongside Epstein to meet with Gates in his Microsoft office in Seattle in 2014. She was one of the many women who became ensnared by the pedophile with promises of a career and success. The picture was taken by Epstein himself, she alleges.
'Now when I look at myself there, it couldn't have looked normal. I saw the looks of those people, like what is she doing here?,' she told the outlet. The woman also posed for a photo with disgraced Oscar-winner Woody Allen.

SOTT Focus: 2023 - The Year The World Saw The U.S. Emperor as Naked... And Grotesque

Brandon
© Strategic Culture Foundation
American President Joe Biden likes to talk about "inflexion points" when he is lecturing about world affairs and the supposed superiority of the United States. This year is indeed an inflexion point.

It was the year that the entire world saw the truly hideous and criminal nature of U.S. power.

Washington's fuelling of the futile conflict in Ukraine and the despicable slaughter in Gaza is a wake-up call for the entire world. The United States stands barefaced and grotesque as the primary purveyor of war. There can be no doubt about that. For many it is shocking, scandalous and frightening.

Tragically, it seems, for the world, every year's end is an occasion to witness and lament conflicts, wars and suffering over the preceding 12 months. Often the causes of wars and suffering are seemingly unfathomable.

However, this year seems to be unique. The year ends with a horrendous massacre in Gaza that is unprecedented and perpetrated by Israel with the full support of the United States. The scale of deliberate mass killing in Gaza makes it a genocide. The fact that this abomination is occurring at Christmas time when the world is supposed to celebrate the divine birth of Jesus Christ - the Prince of Peace - in the very place where he was born some 2,000 years ago makes the abomination all the more profane and damning.

What is particularly wretched is that the heinous destruction of children is happening in full view of the world. There is no remorse or pretence. It is full-blown premeditated murder done with cruelty and sickening impunity.

Virtually the whole world is horrified by the devastating, relentless violence and absolute violation of international law. The butchery by the Israeli regime cannot in any way be rationalized by the previous attack on Israel by Palestinian militants on October 7. Those killings by Hamas have been cynically used as a pretext for the subsequent and ongoing annihilation of Palestinian civilians.

This genocide could not happen without the crucial support of the United States for the Israeli regime. Financially, militarily and diplomatically, Washington is sponsoring the horror in Gaza as well as the Occupied West Bank.

Ukraine launched the US-made projectile towards the 19-km Crimean Bridge, Kherson Region Governor Vladimir Saldo says

Vladimir Saldo, the governor of Kherson Region, announced on Thursday through a Telegram post that a US-made ATACMS missile launched by Kiev's forces was intercepted over the Sea of Azov.

The missile was directed towards the 19-kilometer Crimean Bridge, which connects the Crimean Peninsula to mainland Russia and had been previously targeted by Ukrainian forces.

"The air defense forces personnel worked swiftly and precisely," Saldo said in his post, adding that "another provocation by the Kiev regime has been thwarted." The Russian Defense Ministry has not commented on the development so far.

Congressional staff claims it tried to protect Gazan churches by sending locations to Israel

The Israeli military received and confirmed the coordinates of the church and covenant in Gaza, both of which aid groups say were later struck by rockets and snipers.

A church and a convent that were struck in Gaza last week were listed among Christian facilities congressional staffers had flagged to Israeli authorities for protection — according to a series of emails from October.

The emails, which were obtained by POLITICO, show an increasingly frenzied back-and-forth between Catholic Relief Services — one of the largest Christian aid organizations in Gaza — and Senate staff over an effort to get a commitment from Israel to avoid targeting a number of buildings where its staff and civilians were sheltering.

Comment: Looks like it worked out as well for the Christian churches as it does when the UN sends Israel its coordinates . . . .

Macron admits EU's Russia sanctions have failed

The EU must maintain its support for Ukraine and prevent Russia from winning on the battlefield despite rising doubts about Kiev's future, insisted French President Emmanuel Macron in an interview with the broadcaster France 5 on Wednesday.

The French leader stated that Western countries together with Ukraine had managed to win "strategic victories" such as preventing Russian forces from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory, including previously neutral Finland into NATO, and launching the accession process for Sweden to also join the US-led military bloc.

Comment: Only a fool would put these events in the "victories" category.

However, at the same time, he admitted that the US and the EU were "less successful" in collapsing the Russian economy through sanctions and limiting imports of Russian energy. Macron blamed this failure on countries allegedly helping Russia circumvent Western sanctions.

Comment: Everyone, including France, plays the circumvention game because were Western European countries to actually stop using Russian energy, instead of doing so in name only, their economies and societies would collapse in a week.

Moscow itself has repeatedly stated that the West's sanctions have effectively backfired on those who imposed them. Meanwhile, the restrictions have been "not so painful" for Russia, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also pointed out last month that EU companies had lost at least $260 billion due to the embargoes and that the bloc itself had become dependent on "expensive American energy," causing an industrial crisis.

Nevertheless, Macron insisted that the West must not weaken its support for Ukraine and stressed that "important decisions will have to be made in the coming months," without specifying which decisions he was talking about.

Comment: The sanctions were "less successful" in collapsing the Russian economy because the sanctions were never intended to hurt Russia. It was always about destroying Europe from the inside and using Putin as a scapegoat.

Scott Ritter: US 'builds trap for itself' in Red Sea

On December 18, following a tour of the Middle East with stops in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Israel, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced the establishment of Operation Prosperity Guardian, under the umbrella of Combined Task Force (CTF) 153, which focuses on security in the Red Sea, to protect maritime shipping.

Back on November 19, Yemen's Houthi rebels, operating in solidarity with the Palestinians of Gaza, took over an Israeli-linked cargo ship, the Galaxy Leader. The Houthis announced that they would block all shipping transiting the Red Sea toward Israel — in effect establishing a blockade of Israel — until Israel allowed humanitarian aid into Gaza.

The Houthis have subsequently attacked numerous vessels passing through the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, a narrow passageway leading into the Red Sea and further on to the Suez Canal, threatening global trade as major oil and shipping giants, including BP, MSC, Evergreen, OOCL, and Maersk, suspended operations through the Red Sea. The damage to the Israeli economy done by the Houthi blockage is estimated to run into the billions of dollars, and Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to use military force against the Houthis if the United States does not intervene on its behalf.

Best of the Web: Western leaders should 'stop playing the fool' - Putin

Russia will not collapse, so it would be better if the US and its allies changed their policy, the president has said...

Western nations that expect Russia to collapse are misguided and should instead let their economies benefit from cooperation, President Vladimir Putin said at a government meeting on Thursday.

The US and its allies have targeted Russia with unprecedented sanctions in a bid to punish Moscow for the Ukraine conflict. The country has largely adapted to the pressure however, according to the Russian government and Western analysis.

Putin raised the issue during a meeting of the Council on Strategic Development and National Projects, during which he described Russia's booming commercial ties with non-Western nations. He noted, however, that Moscow is not closing the door on the West.
"It's time for them [Western leaders] to stop playing the fool and waiting for us to collapse. Everyone realizes by now that if they want to benefit from cooperation with Russia, they should do so."

"Western nations have a choice between following 'ephemeral considerations' motivating them to seek Russia's destruction and 'the interests of their own nations and peoples,' which require cooperation based on a new foundation of a multipolar world."

Surrender or die - Netanyahu

Israel intends to fight until total victory, its prime minister has announced...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to continue the war against Hamas until the Palestinian group is eliminated entirely and Gaza poses no threat.

His comments come after Hamas reportedly rejected West Jerusalem's offer for another week-long "humanitarian pause" in exchange for freeing 40 Israeli captives.

In a video message posted on X (formerly Twitter) by his spokesman Ofir Gendelman on Thursday, Netanyahu said:
"We are fighting until victory. We will not stop the war until we achieve all of its goals: Completing the elimination of Hamas and releasing all of our hostages.

"The choice I propose to Hamas is very simple: Surrender or die. All Hamas terrorists, from the first to the last, are dead men walking."
He added that after eliminating Hamas, Israel will ensure that Gaza will no longer pose a threat and that "whoever thinks we will stop is detached from reality."

Comment: The 'Chosen'? Netanyahu chose. The choice? Surrender or die.

Houthi fighters threaten to strike US warships

The threat follows news of Washington planning to set up a coalition to stop attacks on cargo vessels...

US warships will be attacked if Yemen's Houthis are targeted by Washington, the group's leader Abdel-Malek al-Houthi warned on Wednesday, reacting to the news of the US setting up a coalition to counter their attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea.

Since last month, the militants have been firing missiles at international vessels sailing through the Red Sea. The attacks have been disrupting maritime traffic, with the group claiming the attacks were in response to Israel's strikes in Gaza.

On Monday US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin announced Operation Prosperity Guardian:
"Brings together ten countries to jointly address security challenges in the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, with the goal of ensuring freedom of navigation for all countries and bolstering regional security and prosperity."
The group includes eight NATO countries: the US, UK, Netherlands, Canada, France, Italy, Norway and Spain, as well as Bahrain and Seychelles. The coalition is planning to jointly patrol the sensitive area in order to repel and respond to Houthi attacks.

Russia has warned that it will react robustly to Western moves to seize its assets or deploy missiles.

Moscow could sever diplomatic relations with the United States should it confiscate Russian assets frozen under sanctions, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said on Friday. Officials also said the Kremlin would respond to the deployment of missiles in Europe or Asia, even as Ukraine reported that Russia had unleashed another barrage of attack drones overnight.

Ryabkov threatened that Moscow could cut diplomatic ties with Washington should it hand frozen Russian assets to Kyiv, which is desperate for funds, according to the Russian state news agency Interfax.
