Desperate aggressor: Killary needs war in Ukraine to stop Trump

Image of Clinton, Putin and Trump
As became known today, September 3rd, US Republican Party candidate Donald Trump has jumped one percentage point ahead of his opponent from the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton. This is evidenced by the results of a public opinion poll conducted by Reuters and the research company Ipsos. One can safely conclude that this survey has caused panic not only at the Democratic Party headquarters, but also in Ukraine.

It is well known that Ukrainian business and political structures are full of sympathy for the Democratic candidate. Viktor Pinchuk, a former Ukrainiano oligarch and the ex-leader of the Jewish Congress of Ukraine, participated in financing Clinton's electoral campaign. Meanwhile, some members of Donald Trump's team are being "accused" of cooperating with President Viktor Yanukovych's entourage before the coup d'etat in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian issue is thus invisibly present in the US presidential election. Donald Trump recently generated yet another controversy by stating that Crimea's reunification with Russia was legal and that there is even the possibility that the US will recognize the peninsula as Russian territory.

Putin is winning the U.S. election

Hillary Clinton says "We know that Russian intelligence services, which is part of the Russian government which is under the firm control of Vladimir Putin, hacked into the DNC. And we know that he arranged for a lot of those e-mails to be released." (Director of National Intelligence James Clapper would call this "hyperventilating" but what's he know?).

Anne Applebaum informs us : "This time the goal is to disrupt the American election, discredit the process and, if possible, elect Donald Trump as President of the United States. All available evidence now points to Russian involvement in a thorough hack of the Democratic National Committee."

Speaking of "all available evidence", the WaPo tells us the lack of "fingerprints" is the evidence; CBS says the presence of "fingerprints" is the evidence. One or the other, I guess: but it's all "evidence", isn't it?

A "scholar of Russian espionage and political subversion" informs us" "For the first time since the 1950s, Russian subversion of the American political process has become a presidential campaign issue.

Jill Stein of the Green Party has been contaminated by Putin.

They're everywhere: "Putin's Pawns: Beware the Hillary Clinton-Loathing, Donald Trump-Loving Useful Idiots of the Left ."

Comment: When collected together, the orchestrated smearing of Russia and its leader in the media is pretty obvious.

Killary accuses Putin of 'endorsing foreign interference' in the presidential election

Hillary Clinton and Vladimir Putin
U.S. Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of endorsing "foreign interference" in the presidential election after he said recent leaks of Democratic e-mails were a "public service."

Putin in an interview with Bloomberg news published on September 2 denied accusations that Russia's government was behind the cyber intrusions, but said: "Listen, does it even matter who hacked this data? The important thing is the content that was given to the public."

Clinton spokesman Jesse Lehrich responded in an e-mail to Bloomberg, saying, "Unsurprisingly, Putin has joined [Republican presidential candidate Donald] Trump in cheering foreign interference in the U.S. election that is clearly designed to inflict political damage on Hillary Clinton and Democrats."

Comment: Truth is, there is no collusion between Trump and the Kremlin but there is a social and political smear campaign being waged against Putin and Russia.

Russian defense minister: Pentagon hides its ignorance by calling Russia's killing of top ISIS leader 'joke'

The Russian Defense Ministry has rebuked Pentagon officials' statements that reports of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) top commander Abu Muhammad al-Adnani's death in a Russian airstrike were a "joke."

It is not surprising that the US Defense Ministry doesn't know what the situation in Syria is like, since it doesn't want to work with Russia, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"There is nothing unusual in the absence of any factual information about the Russian Air Force strike on August 30," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov told a news briefing, adding that US officials have been boasting on a daily basis for more than a year that they "by no means coordinate or concert their operations in Syria with Russia."

"How are you then supposed to get this information at all?" Konashenkov said. He added that the Pentagon has no choice but to call Russian reports "a joke" in order to "cloak its own ignorance."

On August 31, Pentagon officials told Reuters on condition of anonymity that Moscow's claim that Islamic State leader Abu Muhammad al-Adnani was killed in one of its air strikes was false and called it "a joke."

Islamic State confirmed the death of Adnani in Aleppo region on August 30, providing no further details. Moscow then said that the terrorist leader had been killed in an air strike conducted by a Russian Su-34 bomber, adding that Adnani's death in the strike was confirmed by several intelligence channels.

The Pentagon also said it targeted Adnani on August 30 but did not immediately confirm his death.

Killary more than "careless": She's had 13 mobile devices - 2 recovered, 11 still missing

Hillary Clinton did not use one mobile device for "convenience", but had 13 mobile devices, 11 devices are now lost.

Remember when Hillary Clinton said, "I thought it would be easier to carry just one device for my work and for my personal e-mails instead of two.":

Newly-released FBI documents on the investigation into her mishandling of classified information show that while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used 11 smartphones, and 2 devices thereafter.

In other words, she did not have one device for "convenience", but 13 mobile devices, for???

It gets even better...investigators tried to recover all 13 mobile devices. Two had been destroyed, and none of the others could be found. Eleven devices used by the US Secretary of State are nowhere to be found.

And it gets even better...The FBI documents reveal that a Hillary staffer would destroy mobile phones by "breaking them in half or hitting them with a hammer."

Maybe it's time for the Clinton campaign to blame the Russians? Is Vladimir Putin walking around with the missing 11 mobile devices?

A group of UN torture prevention experts will return to Ukraine on Monday to undertake an inspection after its May visit was suspended because it was denied access to certain detention facilities controlled by Ukraine's security service (SBU), UN says.

The group, consisting of three UN experts from the UK, Moldova and Croatia will visit Ukraine between September 5 and September 9, the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said in a statement.

The group, which is a delegation of the UN Subcommittee on the Prevention of Torture (SPT), will meet with Ukrainian officials and will visit places "where people may be detained, including prisons, police stations, psychiatric institutions and residential care facilities," the statement says.

Like Russia cares: US Treasury Department expands sanctions

The United States has expanded sanctions against Russia over its support for anti-Kiev fighters in Ukraine and the 2014 reunification of the Crimean peninsula with the Russian mainland.

In an updated sanctions blacklist issued on Thursday, the US Department of the Treasury targeted companies building a multi-billion dollar bridge to link Russia with Crimea, and also added dozens of people and companies to the list. Those blacklisted include dozens of Russian companies and up to 37 individuals.

The Treasury pointed out seven companies which it said are directly involved in the construction of the 19 km (11.8 miles) road-and-rail connection across the Kerch Strait, which connects the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

The Treasury also named several subsidiaries of Russian gas giant Gazprom and 11 Crimean officials.

"Russia continues to provoke instability in eastern Ukraine despite its Minsk commitments," said John Smith, acting director of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control, which imposes sanctions.

"Treasury stands with our partners in condemning Russia's violation of international law, and we will continue to sanction those who threaten Ukraine's peace, security and sovereignty."

Crimea declared independence from Ukraine on March 17, 2014, and formally applied to become part of Russia following a referendum in which 96.8 percent of participants voted in favor of the secession. The voter turnout in the referendum stood at 83.1 percent.

Comment: Russia understands that the Treasury's rulings are bluster. Sanctions have only led to strengthening Russia's self-reliance and improved their economy. If the West won't trade with them (to Europe's great damage) there are plenty of other countries who will.

Ukraine refuses to pay its debts, so China takes their rare cargo plane

AN-225 Mryia
Soviet designed and produced in Ukraine An-225 Mriya is the world’s largest cargo aircraft

The Russian Internet exploded at the recent news about a legendary Soviet cargo plane, the Antonov An-225 Mriya, becoming the property of China. The way the deal was announced by the parties is indicative of its content.

China's CCTV - TV - has reported that the Celestial Kingdom will get the plane from the Ukrainian state corporation lock, stock and barrel, including a full set of documents. A few hours later, Antonov denied this information, later making a vague comment on the deal.

We're left wondering which side is telling the truth. Personally, I think the choice between an official Chinese agency and a Ukrainian source is obvious.

Bad Guys

US Presidential visit to Laos is about confronting China and reasserting US power in Asia

John Kerry Loas visit
The United States is attempting highlight the historical nature of an upcoming visit to the Southeast Asian state of Laos by US President Barrack Obama. By doing so, the US hopes perhaps the rhetorical narrative of the visit can compensate for a lack of real political substance.

In an official White House statement titled, "Statement by the Press Secretary on the President's Trip to China and Laos," US spokespeople claimed:
President Obama will travel to China and Laos September 2-9, 2016. This trip will highlight the President's ongoing commitment to the G-20 as the premier forum for international economic cooperation as well as the U.S. Rebalance to Asia and the Pacific.
The statement would also claim:
President Obama will be the first U.S. president to visit Laos, where he will participate in the U.S.-ASEAN Summit and the East Asia Summit. Additionally, he will have bilateral meetings with President Bounnhang Vorachith and other key officials to advance U.S.-Lao cooperation on economic, development, and people-to-people ties, among other areas.
The White House statement would also mention President Obama's intentions to participate in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Summit, an indoctrination program with strong parallels to both British and Roman imperial strategies used to "culturally colonize" targeted nations, regions, and peoples.

Finally and most revealing, the statement claims (emphasis added):
This visit also will support the President's efforts to expand opportunities for American businesses and workers to sell their products in some of the world's fastest-growing markets. Central to this effort is the Trans-Pacific Partnership [TPP], the high-standards trade agreement that will unlock key markets to American exports and cement America's economic leadership in the Asia-Pacific.
In other words, the US president's visit to Asia, particularly Laos, is to expand - or perhaps attempt to reassert - US influence and more specifically control over the region.

From presiding over the YSEALI summit - indoctrinating and training youth from across Southeast Asia to serve amongst America's vast network of faux-nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) - to pushing the unsolicited and very unpopular TPP trade agreement, the president's visit represents a continuation of America's coercive and disruptive brand of geopolitics standing in stark contrast to China, whom the US finds itself increasingly being pushed out of the region by.
