Muslim migrants who refuse to embrace European values must realize there are better places for them to reside than in the EU, Wolfgang Schaeuble, the German Finance Minister has said.

Muslims who don't want to change their ways after arriving in Europe must be told, "you've made the wrong decision," Schaeuble said during a round table discussion in Berlin on Wednesday.

"There are better places in the world to live under Islamic law than Europe," he said as cited by Reuters.

Warmongering media in lockstep - Out of 47 major editorials on Trump's Syria strikes, only one opposed

media headlines syria strike trump
Of the top 100 US newspapers, 47 ran editorials on President Donald Trump's Syria airstrikes last week: 39 in favor, seven ambiguous and only one opposed to the military attack.

In other words, 83 percent of editorials on the Syria attack supported Trump's bombing, 15 percent took an ambivalent position and 2 percent said the attack shouldn't have happened. Polls showed the US public being much more split: Gallup (4/7 - 8/17) and ABC/Washington Post (4/7 - 9/17) each had 51 percent supporting the airstrikes and 40 percent opposed, while CBS (4/7 - 9/17) found 57 percent in favor and 36 percent opposed.

A list of the editorials with quotes showing support or opposition can be seen here. The list of the top 100 editorial boards in the country was taken from a 2016 Hill piece (10/5/16) on presidential election endorsements.

MPs say Brexit referendum a 'bluff' that should never happen again, German politician wants UK to hold 2nd referendum as 'Brits didn't understand Brexit'

MPs have criticized the Conservative government for failing to prepare for a 'Leave' victory in last year's Brexit referendum.

A report released by the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee insisted the government is "accountable and must take responsibility for the conduct of referendums, ... and planning for either outcome."

The report blasted the British government and then-Prime Minister David Cameron for the poor organization of the Brexit referendum and the failure to make contingency plans in case the Leave campaign prevailed, which it did.

"There was no proper planning for a Leave vote so the EU referendum opened up much controversy...," the report said.

Thomas Freedman of the NYT goes full jihadi, wants US to align with ISIS

Thomas Friedman New York Times
Finally some honesty in the US mainstream media. It's evil honesty, but it is honesty nonetheless.

Since Trump's heroic missile strike on a Syrian airbase, where 23 of 59 missiles successfully hit the runway pavement, the liberal left warmongers are quickly removing their masks in giddy anticipation of global conflict.

And by the way, NYT, we know that you know, the US has been partnering with ISIS, Al Nusra, Al Qaeda and all other "moderate rebels" for over six years, to overthrow Assad.

Syria has stated that US led coalition bombings of ISIS in Deir ez-Zor hit a chemical weapons depot used by ISIS.

The resultant chemical weapons explosions are said to have killed 'several hundred civilians'.

The statement from the Syrian General Staff reads.
"The jets of the so-called US-led coalition launched a strike at about 17:30-17:50 on a Daesh warehouse where many foreign fighters were present. First a white cloud and then a yellow one appeared at the site of the strike, which points at the presence of a large number of poisonous substances. A fire at the site continued until 22:30".

The Syrian General Staff said that the US-led coalition struck a Daesh depot storing chemical weapons in Deir ez-Zor on Wednesday.

The Syrian military said that this fact proves that terrorists possess chemical weapons.

"The jets of the so-called US-led coalition launched a strike at about 17:30-17:50 [local time, 14:30-14:50 GMT] on a Daesh warehouse where many foreign fighters were present. First a white cloud and then a yellow one appeared at the site of the strike, which points at the presence of a large number of poisonous substances. A fire at the site continued until 22:30 [19:30 GMT]," the Syrian army's command statement obtained by Sputnik said.

Comment: So where is the international outrage? And this happened earlier: Pentagon reports US-led coalition airstrike mistakenly killed 18 Syrian rebels on April 11

The Philippines leader has cancelled his visit and flag raising ceremony at Spratly Islands in the South China Sea whose sovereignty is disputed with China; backtracking on his recently issued order for the military to occupy and fortify the disputed land.

In July 2016, The Hague Tribunal awarded the Philippines sovereignty rights over the Spratly Islands, rejecting China's claim that it has historic rights to the archipelago. However, having won the legal battle the Philippines, after Rodrigo Duterte assumed office, worked to mend relations with China over the South China Sea territorial dispute.

US President Donald Trump gave an intimate account of his state of mind as he ordered the launch of 59 Tomahawk missiles on Syria last week, and implied that China's leader Xi Jinping agreed with his decision.

"I was sitting at the table. We had finished dinner. We're now having dessert. And we had the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake that you've ever seen and President Xi was enjoying it," Trump told Fox Business Network's Maria Bartiromo, during an interview that aired on Wednesday morning.

Fake news: CNN uses anonymous source to push conspiracy theory of Russian collusion in Syrian gas attack

An anonymous senior US official told CNN that, while the US allegedly has proof that Damascus is responsible for the chemical incident in Idlib, Syria, it has uncovered no such evidence implicating Moscow, because Russia is wilier in scrambling its communications.

The anonymous official reportedly told the American news channel that the US intelligence community had intercepted communications "featuring Syrian military and chemical experts talking about preparations for the sarin attack in Idlib last week." While the source failed to provide any concrete details about the alleged communication - such when it was intercepted or what names or other information it contained - they did note that the US "did not know prior to the attack it was going to happen."

CNN speculated that the communication had been sent prior to the incident, but was not processed until the US began investigating it.

Comment: Of course the US will never go public with evidence against Russia. As always, they have none to offer. The only thing they can do is spread rumors through back-channels, with the expectation of people blindly accepting it.

In a new report, the Fitch rating agency has drastically changed its mind on the impact of US President Donald Trump's policies on the country's domestic growth and the world economy as a whole.

Fitch's mostly enthusiastic report on US internal finances reaffirmed the country's excellent AAA credit rating and raised the outlook for GDP growth.

According to the agency, the US economy will grow at 2.3 percent this year and 2.6 percent in 2018. The figure is well above the 1.6 percent average growth rate under President Obama.
