On Tuesday evening, Google sent a conservative website an ultimatum: remove one of your articles, or lose the ability to make ad revenue on your website. The website was strong-armed into removing the content, and then warned that the page was "just an example and that the same violations may exist on other pages of this website."

"Yesterday morning, we received a very bizarre letter from Google issuing us an ultimatum," Shane Trejo, media relations director of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Michigan, wrote on The Liberty Conservative. "Either we were to remove a particular article or see all of our ad revenues choked off in an instant. This is the newest method that Big Brother is using to enforce thought control."

The ultimatum came in the form of an email from Google's ad placement service AdSense. The email specifically listed an article on The Liberty Conservative's site, stating that the article violated AdSense's policies.

As US increases troop numbers, Afghan President ready for dialogue with Pakistan

Taliban
While Donald Trump's troop surge sees more US soldiers pouring into Afghanistan against the wishes of all the major players in the region as well as against the wishes of the Taliban who now control over half of the country by conservative estimates, events on the ground appear to be moving in a direction that is preparing the country for a dialogue and reconciliation process with key players which hitherto had been the biggest stumbling bloc to a countrywide return to peace and normalcy.

Today, Afghanistan's President Ashraf Ghani stated:
"From here, I have a message for Pakistan: We are ready for comprehensive political talks. Peace with Pakistan is in our national agenda."

FBI and Homeland Security warn of more 'antifa' attacks to come

Confidential documents call the anarchists that seek to counter white supremacists 'domestic terrorists.'

Federal authorities have been warning state and local officials since early 2016 that leftist extremists known as "antifa" had become increasingly confrontational and dangerous, so much so that the Department of Homeland Security formally classified their activities as "domestic terrorist violence," according to interviews and confidential law enforcement documents obtained by POLITICO.

Since well before the Aug. 12 rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, turned deadly, DHS has been issuing warnings about the growing likelihood of lethal violence between the left-wing anarchists and right-wing white supremacist and nationalist groups.

Previously unreported documents disclose that by April 2016, authorities believed that "anarchist extremists" were the primary instigators of violence at public rallies against a range of targets. They were blamed by authorities for attacks on the police, government and political institutions, along with symbols of "the capitalist system," racism, social injustice and fascism, according to a confidential 2016 joint intelligence assessment by DHS and the FBI.

Comment: Notice the backhanded knock on civil liberties. In any case, the scope of Deep State surveillance is such that those pulling the strings have a very good idea of what both sides are up to. From the stand down of police in Charlottesville which only encouraged the rioters, to the illicit stoking of true white supremacist groups, the string pullers will maneuver both to exacerbate divisions between the citizenry. Divide and conquer is a tried and true tactic.

Libyan security forces have arrested a Mossad agent who held a leading position in Daesh in the north-eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, the Israeli website Inian Merkazi reported.

The Hebrew website whose name translates to "Central Issues", added that Ephraim Benjamin is a Jewish spy and that he mingled with Libyans following the 2011 revolution that resulted in the ouster of former dictator Moammer Ghaddafi.

Masr Alarabia website described him as one of Mossad's "Arabists" who are characterised by Arab features and who speak Arabic fluently in local dialects.

Israeli Arabists are known for infiltrating Palestinian protests and arresting demonstrators, as well as assassinating anti-occupation Palestinian activists, according to Masr Alarabia.

The top diplomat stressed that Russia's main fortune is its people

The Russian people do not want war and do not plan to take part in it, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Friday, speaking to students and teachers of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), an academic institution run by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"There were numerous periods throughout our history when we were restrained, but they never ended with our people being lost or reconciled with it," he said. "I think that we have never lacked patience. No one wants a 'hot war,' and we are not going to take part in it, but, seeing all of this around, we've got to have arms, an army, a fleet and aerospace forces that would be consistent with reality."

Memos reveal Comey cleared Clinton before interviewing her and 17 other key witnesses

Graphic of James Comey and Hillary Clinton
In what can be described as nothing less than a bombshell revelation, memos from former FBI director James Comey, obtained by the Senate Judiciary Committee investigating his firing by President Trump, reveal that the bureau chief began writing drafts of a statement clearing Hillary Clinton of criminal wrongdoing prior to at least key 17 witnesses being interviewed by the FBI - including Clinton herself. These newly discovered facts raise the question; how can someone be exonerated of a crime before the investigation has been completed?

During a press conference, on July 5, 2016, former FBI director Comey stated that he would not recommend charges to the U.S. Department of Justice, and noted that despite her mishandling of classified information on a private email server, there was no intent to subvert the law.

The incriminating revelations, that Comey began drafting memos of an exoneration letter, come from transcripts of interviews given by two FBI official, according to the Daily Caller.

Saga of red lines: Trump crosses China's just like Obama crossed Russia's in Syria and Ukraine

In discussions about the 'roles' countries play in the new multipolar world, it is often said that Russia provides the geo-political muscle while China provides the economic engine of a world where the US is no longer a singular hegemon.

However, with Russia's economy turning from resilient to growing and with China becoming ever more involved in world-affairs ever since the announcement of One Belt-One Road in 2013, it is becoming clear that China too has a great deal to say about the wider geo-strategic environment.

For the last three years, the US had crossed several geo-strategic red lines for Russia. First there was the fascist coup in Kiev which occurred in February of 2014. Simultaneous to the US engineering a coup that brought a deeply hostile regime to a country which for centuries was an integral part of Russia and which since 1991 represented a fraternal nation, America was busy arming and funding Salafist terrorists in Syria, a country where Russia has maintained a Navy base at Tartus since 1971, one year after Hafez al-Assad became President.

Russia was not going to idly sit by as the US crossed a bridge too far. The answer came in two forms: first there was instant recognition of Crimea's referendum on re-joining Russia and in September of 2015, it came in the form of Russia agreeing to militarily support the Syrian government's fight against terrorism.

For China, Donald Trump is rapidly crossing as many redlines in his first years of office as Obama did vis-ร -vis Russia in his second term.

Comment: Is it Trump, really, or is it the Deep State running the show?

Swamp closing in, Donald Trump has become, just like every other President, a captured agent on foreign policy

A few weeks ago, the tea leaves pointed towards the potential for a substantive change in our policy in Afghanistan. The initiation of talks with the Taliban hinted that Trump and the Generals had come to their senses as to the right course of action there. Announce a pull out, coordinate with Russia and China diplomatically to heal the divide between Pakistan, the Kabul government and the Taliban leadership and negotiate for a covered withdrawal that doesn't remind voters of the fall of Saigon.

That path is pretty much off the table at this point. Russia, China, Iran and Turkey will continue working the diplomatic angle to bring a Chechnya-like solution to Afghanistan, as laid out recently at The Duran:
In 2007, Akhmad's son Ramzan Kadyrov became the Head of the Chechen Republic. Ramazan's leadership marked Chechnya's transformation from an uneasy hotbed of rebellion and foreign terrorism to a place that is generally stable, a loyal subject of the Russian Federation and a place with zero tolerance for trouble makers. Crucially, the region has a high degree of autonomy in which Islamic customs and local laws are integrated into the overarching laws of the Russian Federation. It is a balance that has worked far better than many could have imagined. It many ways, it is a textbook example of 21st century compromise in respect of cultural autonomy combined with sovereign loyalty to a large state.
Afghanistan requires a similar solution.

Comment: The only way to keep from being sucked under by the swamp is to find firm footing one step at a time.

Special Counsel Mueller now working with NY AG connected to George and Alex Soros

Eric Schneiderman
© Drew Angerer / GettyNY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman
Special counsel Robert Mueller is bringing onboard New York Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman, who is connected with the Soros family.

Connections to anything Soros raises huge red flags, given George Soros' funding of various groups specifically charged with inciting revolution against the Trump administration, but Schneiderman's beef with Trump goes much deeper, as he has sued Donald Trump and his son.

George Soros' son Alex Soros met Eric Schneiderman in August 2016 before the national election. The younger Soros posted a photo of the two on Instagram, where he called Donald Trump a fraud and congratulated Schneiderman for taking him on.

The Gateway Pundit reports...
Schneiderman led a lawsuit against Donald Trump that was filed after Trump announced his run for president. Schneiderman alleges Donald Trump scammed Trump University participants out of tens of thousands of dollars.

In June of this year New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman launched an investigation of the Eric Trump Foundation over allegations the organization funneled money through charity golf outings which raised millions for St. Jude's Children Hospital.

Robert Mueller has hired a stable of liberal attorneys and former Obama officials to investigation Donald Trump's alleged collusion with Russia.

Now Mueller is working with the anti-Trump New York Attorney General to take down the president.

Comment: Mueller is stacking the deck with controversial choices for a premise that doesn't fly. Without facts, all you have is fiction. Maybe he thinks that is enough in today's 'make it up as you go' USA. He could be right.

Judge's orders: Feds to release details of Clinton email probe after FBI's request refusal

Hillary

A federal judge ordered the FBI on Thursday to disclose more details about how it handled its investigation into Hillary Clinton's secret email account. U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg said court papers describing the grand jury subpoenas the FBI obtained to compel information from Mrs. Clinton's internet service providers can be made public.

In doing so, he overruled objections by the Trump administration that had insisted making the information public would violate grand jury secrecy rules. "After reviewing the document in camera, the court concludes that it largely rehashes information already made public, thus obviating any need for secrecy," the judge said.

Two groups, Judicial Watch and Cause of Action Institute, have been prodding the government for more information about the Clinton emails, and they cheered the judge's ruling as a victory for transparency. "This order makes public details submitted by the government about the FBI's efforts to recover then-Secretary Clinton's unlawfully removed emails. Americans deserve to know the full scope of that investigation," said COA President John J. Vecchione.

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said he didn't understand why the Trump administration was still backing the Obama administration's fight against transparency in this case. "President Trump ought to be outraged his appointees are protecting Hillary Clinton," Mr. Fitton said. "The State Department should initiate action with the Justice Department - and both agencies should finally take the necessary steps to recover all the government emails Hillary Clinton unlawfully removed."

The case stems from questions about Mrs. Clinton's secret server and the trove of emails she belatedly turned over.

Comment: This woman was the runner-up for president. Her dealings on behalf of the government and the people should be an open book. Clinton's lack of adherence to protocol and her cavalier approach to the serious duty and diligence of her office suggests the distrust the people feel towards her is justifiable. For the legal system to shield her actions with bogus claims of 'too little public interest' suggests the distrust of the US justice system felt by the majority of Americans is also justified.
