Deletion needed to preserve big lie of an unprovoked Russian invasion

The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) — a CIA offshoot founded in the early 1980s to advance "democracy promotion" initiatives around the world — has deleted all records of funding projects in Ukraine from their searchable "Awarded Grants Search" database.

The archived webpage captured February 25, 2022 from 14:53 shows that NED granted $22,394,281 in the form of 334 awards to Ukraine between 2014 to the present. The capture at 23:10 the same day shows "No results found" for Ukraine. As of right now, there are still "No results found" for Ukraine.

Searching using "Ukraine" as a keyword (as opposed to a "Project Country" in the original captures) yields "No results found." Searching for the titles of the funded projects listed in the last "intact" web capture yields no results.

Additionally, the current database search criteria have been restricted, previously funding from 2014 to present could be searched, currently only 2017 to present is searchable per the drop-down menus. There are multiple news reports before February 25 corroborating this $22,394,281 amount.

Zelensky rejected peace offer days before Russian offensive - WSJ

Zelensky/Scholz
© Daily ExpressUkraine President Volodymyr Zelensky • German Chancellor Olaf Scholz
German chancellor Olaf Scholz had offered Volodymyr Zelensky a chance for peace just days before the launch of the Russian military offensive, but the Ukrainian president turned it down, the Wall Street Journal has reported.

Scholz had made what the US outlet described as "one last push for a settlement between Moscow and Kiev" less than a week before the Russian forces were sent into Ukraine on February 24.

The chancellor told Zelensky in Munich on February 19
"that Ukraine should renounce its NATO aspirations and declare neutrality as part of a wider European security deal between the West and Russia.

"The pact would be signed by Mr. Putin and Mr. Biden, who would jointly guarantee Ukraine's security."
However, Zelensky rejected the offer to make the concession and avoid confrontation, saying that
"[Russia's President Vladimir] Putin couldn't be trusted to uphold such an agreement and that most Ukrainians wanted to join NATO."
"His answer left German officials worried that the chances of peace were fading," the report points out.

Comment: Zelensky thinking Germany is making a mistake, launches an attack at Olaf Scholz's government. He told the Economist magazine:
"Germany 'is making a mistake today' as it tries to take a balanced approach due to their deeper economic ties with Moscow. They, Germany, are trying to be balanced. They have a long relationship with Russia and they are looking at the situation through the prism of the economy.

"They help out at times, and are looking at how the situation affects their own country. They can help, if there is pressure on them domestically to do so, and they can stop when they see what they have done is sufficient. Germany is more pragmatic which can really help.

"It's not always about us, what we need and what the world needs.

"I think Germans are making a mistake today. I think they make mistakes often. I think the legacy of Germany's relations with Russia shows this."

The US empire's ultimate target is not Russia but China

The Pentagon has produced its latest National Defense Strategy (NDS), a report made every four years to provide the public and the government with a broad overview of the US war machine's planning, posturing, developments and areas of focus.

You might assume with all the aggressive brinkmanship between Moscow and the US power alliance this year that Russia would feature as Enemy Number One in the 2022 NDS, but you would be assuming incorrectly. The US "Defense" Department reserves that slot for the same nation that's occupied it for many years now: China.

Antiwar's Dave DeCamp writes the following:
The full NDS is still classified, but the Pentagon released a fact sheet on the document that says it "will act urgently to sustain and strengthen deterrence, with the People's Republic of China (PRC) as our most consequential strategic competitor and the pacing challenge for the Department."
The fact sheet outlines four priorities for the Pentagon:
  1. Defending the homeland, paced to the growing multi-domain threat posed by the PRC
  2. Deterring strategic attacks against the United States, Allies, and partners
  3. Deterring aggression, while being prepared to prevail in conflict when necessary, prioritizing the PRC challenge in the Indo-Pacific, then the Russia challenge in Europe
  4. Building a resilient Joint Force and defense ecosystem

Psychotic Polish deputy-PM offers US to install nukes in his country, wants Washington to send tens of thousands more troops

Jaroslaw Kaczynski

Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Poland's Deputy Prime Minister, has spoken in favor of US nuclear weapons being deployed in eastern Europe, citing Russia's military offensive against Ukraine.

In an interview with Germany's Die Welt news outlet published on Sunday, Kaczynski said that "fundamentally, it makes sense to expand nuclear sharing to the eastern flank," apparently referring to a NATO concept by which "the benefits, responsibilities and risks of nuclear deterrence are shared across the Alliance." The Polish official noted, however, that such an initiative should come from the US.

On top of that, Kaczynski called on the military bloc to set up a new command center in Poland, akin to the one in the Dutch town of Brunssum, "from where joint NATO deployments will be planned and conducted." According to the deputy, that would send a clear signal to Russia that the military alliance is now present in Eastern Europe at command level as well.

Comment: Meanwhile Italy says that it will guarantee Ukraine's territory as neutral, and Poland wants to escalate; evidently there are some significant fractures within the EU as there are in NATO.

Comment: Some of the Polish establishment are proving to be almost as pathological as those in Ukraine. However, unlike Ukraine - which underwent a US-backed coup in 2014 where nutj-obs were pushed into positions of power, often under threats of force - Poland doesn't have the same excuse: Also check out SOTT radio's: End of the PetroDollar: De-dollarization And What it Means For The World

Slovakia sees the light: Agrees to pay for Russian gas in rubles

Slovakia will pay for Russian natural gas in rubles if that's what it takes to keep the commodity flowing, Slovak Economy Minister Richard Sulik has said on national television.

"If there is a condition to pay in rubles, then we will pay in rubles," Sulik said. He stressed that Russian imports account for roughly 85% of all Slovakian gas supplies, so the country's authorities will remain pragmatic on the issue.

"We cannot be cut off from gas," Sulik emphasized, urging the rest of Europe to jointly seek a solution.

Comment: By demanding payments be exchanged from euros to rubles, Russia protects itself from being stiffed by the West should they freeze currency exchanges. Smart move by Putin.

Best of the Web: 'All were shot': Ukrainian regime 'discovers' 20 bodies on street in Bucha near Kiev, claims Russian forces committing 'genocide' - Russia denies involvement

Comment: The very first noises about this claimed 'hundreds of bodies' were found. Already, it's down to '20'. The 'play' here is obvious: Kiev is crying 'Srebrenica' in this its umpteenth attempt to draw direct NATO engagement against Russian forces in Ukraine...

Bucha
© RONALDO SCHEMIDT / AFPBodies lie on a street in Bucha, northwest of Kyiv, Ukraine on April 2, 2022.
Ukraine said Saturday Russian forces were making a "rapid retreat" from around the capital Kyiv and the city of Chernigiv, as evidence emerged of possible civilian killings in areas they have been occupying.

AFP reporters saw at least 20 bodies on a single street in the town of Bucha near Kyiv, including one with his hands tied, and the body of a missing photographer was discovered in a nearby village.

"All these people were shot," Bucha's mayor Anatoly Fedoruk told AFP, adding that 280 other bodies had been buried in mass graves in the town.

Comment: He also claimed that some of the victims "had tried to cross the Buchanka river to Ukrainian-controlled territory and had been killed." He doesn't mention it, but this leaves open the possibility that they were killed by Ukrainian military. There are dozens of reports of Azov shooting civilians trying to escape Mariupol, for example.

As it withdraws from northern areas, Russia appears to be focusing on the east and south of Ukraine, where it already holds vast swathes of territory.

"Russia is prioritising a different tactic: falling back on the east and south," Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhaylo Podolyak said on social media.

"Without heavy weapons we won't be able to drive (Russia) out," he said.

Comment: See South Front for videos and analysis. Zelensky is claiming genocide:

Projection... Blinken and Stoltenberg won't go that far, instead simply referring to it as "brutality against civilians." In response to these allegations, the EU will "tighten sanctions" and strengthen military support to Kiev.

SF adds some relevant observations:
Footage shared by locals days ago confirmed that there were civilians killed in fierce clashes that broke out during the Russian withdrawal. ...

there almost no blood near the dead who were allegedly shot dead by Russian servicemen at close range along the road ...

Numerous craters are seen on the streets, as well as destroyed Russian tanks.

While Russian troops were withdrawing, the AFU opened heavy artillery fire trying to destroy as much as Russian equipment as possible. As a result, a big number of civilians were killed.
There is also this video, titled "The work of the Bossman Boys in Bucha" (Bossman is the call-sign of Sergei Korotkov, of the Kiev territorial defense):

Moon of Alabama tweeted this suspicious timeline:

The Russian MOD released this denial:
⚡️🇷🇺Russian Defence Ministry denies accusations of Kiev regime of allegedly killing civilians in Bucha, Kiev Region

❗️All the photos and videos published by the Kiev regime allegedly testifying to some "crimes" committed by Russian servicemen in Bucha, Kiev region are just another provocation.

▫️During the time that the town has been under the control of the Russian armed forces, not a single local resident has suffered from any violent action. Russian servicemen have delivered and distributed 452 tonnes of humanitarian aid to civilians in Kiev Region.

▫️For as long as the town was under the control of the Russian armed forces and even then, up to now, locals in Bucha were moving freely around the town and using cellular phones.

❗️The exits from Bucha were not blocked. All local residents were free to leave the town in northern direction, including to the Republic of Belarus. At the same time, the southern outskirts of the city, including residential areas, were shelled round the clock by Ukrainian troops with large-calibre artillery, tanks and multiple launch rocket systems.

❗️We would like to emphasise that all Russian units withdrew completely from Bucha as early as March 30, the day after the Russia-Ukraine face-to-face round of talks in Turkey.

▫️Moreover, on March 31, the mayor of Bucha, Anatoliy Fedoruk, confirmed in a video message that there were no Russian servicemen in the town, but he did not even mention any locals shot in the streets with their hands tied.

▫️It is not surprising, therefore, that all the so-called "evidence of crimes" in Bucha did not emerge until the fourth day, when the Security Service of Ukraine and representatives of Ukrainian media arrived in the town.

▫️It is of particular worry that all the bodies of the people whose images have been published by the Kiev regime are not stiffened after at least four days, have no typical cadaver stains, and the wounds contain unconsumed blood.

❗️All this confirms conclusively that the photos and video footage from Bucha are another production by the Kiev regime for the Western media, as was the case in Mariupol with the maternity hospital, as well as in other cities.
Given the number of fake Ukrainian atrocity reports, no one should believe a word they say without evidence. Someone killed these people. Simply based on past probabilities, it's more likely that the Ukrainians killed these people and are now using their bodies to frame Russia for crimes against humanity. After all, this comes in the weeks after Ukraine has had to engage in a major PR effort to massage the fact that their own servicemen are on film torturing and murdering civilians and Russian POWs.

UPDATE:

Victor comments: "An amazing thing, the National Police of Ukraine published a video yesterday, April 2, under the heading "Bucha - cleaning the city from the occupiers." "Occupiers", as we know, have not been there since March 30. And where did the bodies that lay everywhere on the roads go? Why was not a word said about this for 8 minutes? And today, on April 3, these bodies suddenly appeared and everyone is just talking about it."

Imran Khan takes on America amid alleged regime change attempt

Imran Khan
© The CradlePakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan rallies his countrymen against a US-backed plot to unseat his democratically elected government.
The government in Pakistan has alleged that Sunday's no-confidence motion to oust Prime Minister Imran Khan from power was masterminded in Washington.

After a humiliating defeat in Afghanistan and loss of credibility over Ukraine, the era of US unipolarity seems to be entering its terminal phase, marked by lashing out ferociously in all directions. The most recent of these offensives occurred last week when the government of Pakistan alleged that Washington was trying to engineer regime change in Islamabad.

This time the US was caught red handed. The claim was not made via a leak or a fringe observer, but by the prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, himself. While the US State Department has denied any involvement, the political drama has only just begun.

Emerging from a crucial meeting of Afghanistan's neighbors, China's top diplomat took a public whack at Washington's behavior. Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that China will not allow the US to drag smaller nations into conflict and sharply rebuked the 'US Cold War mentality.' Beijing is determined not to allow the US to steal Pakistan from its inner circle of vital Asian partners that today include Russia, Iran, Afghanistan, and others.

On Wednesday, when a coalition partner of the governing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party (PTI) announced its seven members would switch to the opposition, Khan essentially lost his majority in the National Assembly, consisting of 342 parliamentarians. More than a dozen of his party members also threatened to cross the political aisle.

But the Pakistani opposition had mistakenly believed that as soon as they showed their required numerical majority in the parliament, the prime minister would either step down or resign. But that is not what appears to be happening.

Comment: Imran Khan has been very vocal against US attempts to strongarm countries into supporting sanctions against Russia. He even commended India for not bowing to the US, which is a rare display of kind words towards India from a Pakistani leader. Pakistan, a country of 225 million people have in the last few years moved away from the US and made alliances with Russia and China to the frustration of the US imperial rulers.

Fmr adviser to rapist Harvey Weinstein plays unchecked 'mastermind' role in Biden's Presidency

Anita Dunn
Anita Dunn
The Atlantic describes her as the "mastermind" behind Joe Biden's 2020 win. Anita Dunn didn't take a job in the White House after his victory, but she certainly still has a hand in it. So who is Mrs. Dunn and why should you care?

Comment: Regardless of her efforts, it still took unprecedented vote rigging to ram Biden into the White House: 48% of voters do not think Biden is "mentally fit", 53% disapprove of his performance - poll

Dunn's Organization

The Democrat lobbying and campaign powerhouse SKDK has been pulling strings for over a decade and a half. The "D" stands for Dunn as in Anita Dunn. Her organization and Biden's presidency are profoundly intertwined. The Biden Administration hired countless SKDK employees and SKDK has a habit of hiring straight from the White House. This web of financial and political influence undoubtedly includes SKDS clients such as AT&T, Pfizer, and foreign governments such as Ukraine.

Who is Anita Dunn?

While you were distracted by Will Smith, the international elitists met at the World Government Summit

Klaus Schwab
While much of the "mainstream" world has spent the last few days obsessing over and debating the celebrity spectacle surrounding American actor Will Smith slapping American comedian Chris Rock, the international elitists were meeting in Dubai for the 2022 World Government Summit.

From March 28th to the 30th, corporate media journalists, heads of state, and CEOs of some of the most profitable companies in the world met for discussions on shaping the direction of the next decade and beyond. Anyone with a functioning brain should ignore the tabloids and instead pay attention to this little known gathering of globalist Technocrats.

Let's take a look at the speakers and the panels, starting with Mr. Great Reset himself, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum.

Schwab gave a talk entitled, Our World Today... Why Government Must Act Now?. "Thank you, to his excellency for enabling this initiative to define a longer-term narrative to make the world more resilient more inclusive and more sustainable," Schwab stated during his address. The use of the term narrative is important because in January 2021, Klaus and the World Economic Forum announced the next phase of The Great Reset, The Great Narrative.

Part 1

A little while ago I introduced you to Andrzej Łobaczewski (1921-2007), a Polish psychologist who spent much of his adult life under communism before emigrating to the USA in 1977.

I thought you might like to explore with me the observations and ideas that Łobaczewski formulated under oppressive circumstances and at the hand of evil men. This exploration would be in the spirit of gleaning wisdom for our own struggle with oppressive circumstances (as opposed to a mere fascination for a dark time of history) and to understand what Łobaczewski terms political ponerology - the study of evil in the political realm. I don't always agree with Łobaczewski on some aspects of the neurological/psychological side of psychopathology1 that leads to evil, but I have almost 40 years of new data and insight on the brain that Łobaczewski didn't have in 1984 and before. Nevertheless, he had the lived experience - something of immense value for the purposes of insight.

These are strange and dark days. During the height of the so called pandemic media was saturated with lies, but you could, with some effort of discernment and no small amount of personal research, work out who was lying and why (maybe the 'why' was fuzzy, but the lies became obvious). But since the beginning of the Ukraine/Russian war the propaganda from every side has been pushed into overdrive. Multiple and wildly differing perspectives, all convinced that they alone see the truth, are spewed out in a free-for-all cacophony over the airwaves. Just when you think you've put together the bits of information that amount to some semblance of truth, along comes another revelation that makes you doubt your mosaic-like version of reality. We intuit that the world has gone completely bonkers but putting your finger on exactly who's crazy and why is complex. Time, for me at least, to go to those who have been in these circumstances before and to see what they can offer.
