Best of the Web: Official statement from Marjorie Taylor Greene: "I quit"

Comment: Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has announced her resignation as congresswoman for Georgia's 14th district.

Not because of some scandal she's caught up in, but because she can no longer, in good conscience, be a politician in Washington, DC.

She's walking away from 'the Swamp'. The American polity is beyond fixing. Protect yourself and your own, this ship is going down.

The West's junior partners are drifting into dangerous territory

A Eurasian crisis is being driven not by Moscow or Beijing, but by nervous allies of the US.

Western Europe and Japan sit on opposite ends of the Eurasian landmass, products of different histories and cultures. Yet in foreign policy they behave like twins. In both cases, national decisions are shaped less by domestic strategy than by Washington's mood swings. When the United States is confident, they are calm. When Washington is uneasy, they panic.

We are now watching that panic spill into open aggression. Across what is normally a quieter stretch of the planet, Western Europe and Japan have begun posturing with a level of militarized anxiety out of proportion to their real power. Their increasingly confrontational behavior toward Russia and China is less a sign of strength than of confusion, and a lack of confidence about their role in the emerging world order.

Russian FM spokeswoman slams neo-Nazi push across Europe

Western media is twisting the history of the Second World War, presenting those who sided with the Nazis and killed Russians as heroes, Maria Zakharova wrote.

Russia's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has called out recent whitewashing of neo-Nazism across Europe through cultural means.

In one example, she highlighted a Telegraph article about Finnish sniper Simo Hayha titled 'I Killed 500 Russians'.

The inclusion of Hayha in a series of materials referring to the Second World War reflects a targeted campaign to exclude the history of the USSR from the ranks of the anti-Hitler coalition and slander the Red Army, Zakharova explained.

There were similar manifestations of Japanese militarism in 1937, she explained. Japanese press promoted a competition between Imperial Army officers in beheading Chinese people, with many historians saying these were unarmed prisoners. After the war, they received their deserved punishment, the spokeswoman noted.

The Telegraph's article followed the release of the movie Sisu 2: Road to Revenge, the second part of the story of a Finnish commando, in which the protagonist kills Soviet soldiers and officers with particular cruelty in 1946. The film's creators do not hide that they were inspired by the image of Hayha - a killer of Russians, Zakharova added.

Of course: NATO Countries Blame Russia As Mystery Drones Keep Buzzing Key European Military Installations

A string of unexplained drone incursions over military, industrial and transportation hubs across Europe is raising fresh concerns about the vulnerability of NATO territory to covert surveillance and sabotage.

In the French border town of Mulhouse, authorities are probing a Nov. 11 incident in which a police officer reported a drone hovering above a police station courtyard shortly before midnight. Moments later, the aircraft maneuvered over a nearby rail depot and filmed a military convoy transporting Leclerc main battle tanks before disappearing. Investigators have yet to track down the device or its operator.

Local prosecutors said there is "no evidence to suggest whether this was a deliberate flight...or simply an accidental overflight." But the episode followed closely on the heels of a far more targeted intrusion at the Eurenco plant in Bergerac, where defense officials say drones twice breached the airspace above one of Europe's most sensitive ammunition and explosives facilities. The plant supplies propellants used in the artillery shells shipped to Ukraine.

French investigators called those flights "deliberate" and "clearly targeted," intensifying fears that unmanned aircraft are scouting the continent's military infrastructure and industrial supply lines, the Washington Times reports.

Best of the Web: US ambassador to Israel Huckabee has 'warm' meeting with notorious traitor & spy Jonathan Pollard

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee is under fire and in the headlines after it was revealed he met with notorious traitor and spy Jonathan Pollard at the US Embassy in July. The former American intelligence analyst was convicted of espionage for Israel and sentenced to life in prison in 1987.

Pollard's is widely viewed as one of the single most damaging spy cases in US intelligence history, as he passed along extensive classified information, including the NSA's ten-volume guide to US signals-intelligence collection methods. He also directly put American intelligence agents and officials in danger, as he revealed the identities of thousands of individuals who had assisted US intelligence services.

Comment: Pollard also got a lot of those assets killed. How is this visit being countenanced?

The CIA still considers Pollard a dangerous traitor to the nation. He had passed thousands of secret documents - enough to fill a large room-full, to Israeli intelligence in exchange for money and gifts. His defense after getting caught red-handed, which included video footage showing him stealing documents, was that the US government was withholding crucial information from its close Mideast ally.

Comment: Guess so . . . .

Secret CIA report boasted about tricking Congress in JFK probe, whistleblower says

A CIA whistleblower, revealing his identity for the first time, tells Axios he saw a secret document in which an agency official bragged about misleading congressional investigators about Lee Harvey Oswald's activities in Mexico before President Kennedy was assassinated.
  • "It's a blueprint of a cover-up, how to lie to Congress and the American people," former CIA-State Department historian Thomas L. Pearcy tells Axios.
Why it matters: Pearcy's description of the nearly 50-page document — a CIA inspector general's report — sheds new light on how intelligence agents routinely have covered up facts and records about Kennedy's slaying that still haven't been made public.

Driving the news: The 62nd anniversary of JFK's assassination is Saturday, and President Trump has pledged to disclose all records related to the tragedy in accordance with the JFK Records Act of 1992.

Kiev earlier confirmed having received a draft from the US and signaled a readiness to discuss it.

Ukrainian opposition MP Aleksey Goncharenko has published the text of a purported peace plan reportedly presented to Kiev by the US administration this week.

The lawmaker posted on social media what appeared to be screenshots of a Ukrainian-language electronic document detailing the 28-point peace plan to end the hostilities between Moscow and Kiev.

Earlier in the day, Vladimir Zelensky's office confirmed the US presented Kiev with its new draft plan. The Ukrainian administration did not elaborate on its contents, only expressing a willingness to discuss it and stating that "in the American side's assessment" the plan "could help reinvigorate diplomacy."

Here's the full text of the post:

Comment: As said in the title, these terms are 'purported'. Anything could change.

Benjamin Netanyahu: "Shanda fur die Goyim"— Shame on Jews, Shame on Me!

Neti

The current Israeli leadership, supported by a corrupt world order led by the United States, has turned Jewish identity into a shield for brutality, creating a global moral and political crisis that endangers both Jews and Palestinians.
"Shanda fur die goyim" a shame before the nations — was once a quiet warning among Jews: do not let our failings and actions, even sins of omission, which are often the greatest sins, become fuel for hatred from non-Jews. Yet today, the disgrace does not hide itself; instead, it broadcasts in high definition. As Western governments unravel under corruption and doublespeak, and as Israel's leadership sinks deeper into moral decay, corruption, and collapse, Jews everywhere are forced to confront a painful truth: the very people claiming to act in our name are endangering us all.

Shanda meant that whatever it was in the time of Yiddish Culture — it meant anything, any action that would bring shame, disrepute, or collective embarrassment or hatred towards the Jews — and it was something that we should not let the gentiles see, like not airing our dirty laundry in public. This expression is no longer in vogue, but it is a concept that all Jews should revisit, even those who are far from its Yiddish origins and moral lessons.

Comment: Without truth there can be no justice. This author is spot on.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is real and it's driving therapists crazy

Trump laser eyes

The strange psychological anomaly first appeared in 2016 - Psychotherapists across the US and even Europe began reporting a sharp rise in patients with "anxiety" about the US elections and, specifically, a potential win by Donald Trump. This "Trump Anxiety" was greatly exacerbated by the establishment media, which was relentless in their propaganda narrative painting Trump as the next "Hitler"; a racist, misogynist monster who was hellbent on "destroying democracy."

Another group that was feeding the national hysteria over a Trump presidency was psychotherapists. At the time, Politico asserted that Trump's "crude" behavior could give "new fuel to the charge that his candidacy might be normalizing aggressive, disparaging talk and behavior." They cited a manifesto published by 3000 therapists declaring "Trump's proclivity for scapegoating, intolerance and blatant sexism a threat to the well-being of the people we care for..."

". . . the Democrat Party is no longer a political party. It is an insurrectionist crime syndicate that will torch the Constitution to stay in power."
— Stephen Miller
The old joke goes: A-list actor is having lunch with studio chief. Studio chief says, Didja hear so-and-so (well-known Hollywood agent) dropped dead this morning. His heart. A-list actor says, Gee, I didn't know he had one.

Kind of brings to mind the late Veep Dick Cheney, who actually did have a heart, but one so grotesquely diseased that he had his first near-fatal infarction at age thirty-seven, followed by surgeries galore, and finally, at age 71, a heart transplant that, quite remarkably, kept him going another thirteen years — long enough to function behind-the-scenes as a senior Deep State cheerleader and strategist through the Trump years. Daughter Liz Cheney, of course, did the political dirty-work, most notably on Nancy Pelosi's sketchy J-6 Committee, prior to being voted out of office in the 2022 Republican primary for Wyoming's at-large U.S. House seat with 28.9 percent of the vote to Harriet Hageman's 66.3 percent.
