How Trump's own appointees aided Russiagate plot against him

When Obama administration officials manufactured U.S. intelligence tying Donald Trump to Moscow following his stunning 2016 victory, they had no idea Trump's own political appointees would help them undermine Trump's presidency - and his chances of reelection in 2020.

RCI's review of recently declassified documents and exclusive interviews with former Trump officials reveals for the first time how key members of Trump's cabinet and other appointees during his first term shrouded the previous administration's machinations and either deliberately or inadvertently misled the public into thinking the fake Russiagate intelligence was real.

Former Special Counsel John Durham, former National Security Adviser John Bolton, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and former CIA Director Gina Haspel dismissed or buried evidence that cast doubt on a foundational document of the Russigate hoax - the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) prepared in the waning days of the Obama administration.

Durham, who was appointed by Attorney General William Barr, stopped the declassification and release of key exculpatory evidence debunking the ICA on the eve of the 2020 election, which has not been reported previously.

French General: We must be ready to 'lose our children' in war with Russia

The head of the French armed forces said his country must be prepared to send its children to die in a war with Russia.

Chief of the French Defense Staff General Fabien Mandon said:
"Russia is convinced that the Europeans are weak. However, we are strong, fundamentally stronger than Russia. We have all the knowledge, all the economic and demographic strength to dissuade Moscow's regime. What we are lacking, and that is where you have a major role, is the strength of soul to accept pain to protect what we are.

"If our country is weak because it is not ready to accept losing its children — because it's better to say things clearly — [and] to suffer economically because the priority will be the defence sector, then we are at risk."
He made the remarks earlier this week at the congress of the Association of Mayors of France. He urged the local leaders in attendance to inform their constituents of his assessment.

Comment: Fundamentally stronger than Russia? Someone isn't doing the math!

'He can fight his little heart out': Trump on potential Zelensky refusal

The US president has indicated the Ukrainian leader will be on his own if he rejects the peace plan currently being discussed.

US President Donald Trump has said Ukraine's Vladimir Zelensky can "continue to fight his little heart out" should he refuse the proposed peace plan to settle the conflict with Russia.

Washington presented Kiev this week with a new draft proposal for ending the conflict, pressing the Ukrainian leadership to accept it by next Thursday. According to media reports, the proposed 28-point plan includes multiple clauses repeatedly refused by Kiev and its Western European backers, such as Ukraine giving up on its NATO aspirations and downsizing its military.

Trump made the remark while speaking to reporters outside the White House on Saturday. The US president was asked what would happen if Zelensky refused to accept the proposed plan.

"Then he can continue. Then he can continue to fight his little heart out," Trump said.

Comment: Ukraine downsizing its military? According to weekly war news clips, this happens on a regular basis. Meanwhile, the US is considering cuts to weapons supply and intel sharing:
Kiev confirmed receiving a new draft peace plan from the US on Thursday without elaborating on its contents. The Ukrainian leadership expressed willingness to discuss it, stating that "in the American side's assessment" the draft "could help reinvigorate diplomacy."

Ukraine's mission at the UN has already rejected some of the key points of the reported plan, with Deputy Permanent Representative Khristina Gayovyshyn stating Kiev will never recognize any formerly Ukrainian territories as part of Russia. Joining military blocs or limiting the country's military capabilities was out of the question as well, she insisted. At the same time, Gayovyshyn reiterated her government's readiness to discuss the provisions of the draft.

Ukraine's Western European backers have pushed back against the reported clauses of the US-proposed settlement plan, insisting that any agreement must reflect the positions of both Brussels and Kiev.

The EU is now reportedly working on a "counteroffer" that is more favorable to Kiev.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said there was "nothing new" in Russia-US negotiations on the Ukrainian conflict, adding that Russia remains ready to engage in negotiations with Ukraine. The Russian government has received no information about Kiev agreeing to negotiate on the peace plan, Peskov told reporters on Friday.

SOTT Focus: NewsReal: Trump Peace Plan Shows Ukraine War's Still a Racket

Trump's 28-point peace plan for Ukraine was announced last week. The Euros say it's "capitulation to Russia," Kiev says it's under pressure from the White House to accept it, "or else," and the Russians say they'll "consider it." Though more realistic than anything proffered by Western leaders thus far, it will likely fail because entrenched money interests want to keep the war going.

Back in the US, Congressman Thomas Massie's Epstein Files Transparency Act has been passed surprisingly quickly. So, a 'win' for MAGA, despite Trump's months-long efforts to kill the bill. And yet, unexpectedly, Trump loyalist Marjorie Taylor Greene has announced her sudden retirement from national politics, stating, "our government is broken beyond repair."

A bad omen for 'Epstein transparency' and thus the remainder of Trump's term. Is MAGA dead in the water?

Candace Owens: "The president of France is planning to assassinate me"

candace owens macrons
Candace Owens has wildly claimed that the French government is plotting to kill her after she was sued by Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron.

The provocateur, who has become increasingly conspiratorial, took to X early Saturday to push an unfounded claim that the French president and first lady have orchestrated and funded an assassination plot against herwhile also supposedly threatening French journalist Xavier Poussard.

Owens, 36, and Poussard have been loudly promoting the baseless conspiracy theory that Brigitte, 72, was born male — a rumor that triggered a defamation lawsuit against Owens, filed by the Macrons in Delaware.

Brigitte has vehemently denied the claims against her.

Comment: Owens' investigation into Kirk's assassination abruptly ended her 'Becoming Brigitte' series in early September, but now, just as she discovers a 'French connection' in the plot to murder Kirk - specifically, a hangar leased by French aerospace company Satys in Delaware, the apparent go-to location for two Egyptian government planes (suspected of 'tracking' the Kirks at TPUSA events for over two years) upon entering and exiting the United States (from Paris, every time) - and begins wondering whether the Macrons' murky background is connected to that plot, she's being told/warned by someone working 'on the inside' in France that she 'may be next'.

Owens' X posts about this threat:

Two days ago I was contacted by a high-ranking employee of the French Government. After determining this person's position and proximity to the French couple, I have deemed the information they gave me to be credible enough to share publicly in the event that something happens. In short, this person claims that the Macrons have executed upon and paid for my assassination.

Yes, you read that correctly. More specifically, that the green light was given to a small team in National Gendamarie Intervention Group. I am told there is one Israeli that is on this assasination squad and the plans were formalized. Again, this person provided concrete proof that they are well placed within the French government apparatus. Further to this point, this person claims that Charlie Kirk's assassin trained with the French legion 13th brigade with multi-state involvement.

Journalist Xavier Poussard's life is also at risk. This is deadly serious. The head of state of France apparently wants us both dead and has authorized professional units to carry this out.

I ask that every person RETWEET and share this. I do not know who in the American government can be trusted, since this source claims our leaders are aware. But I have more specific information which is definitively verifiable, should they care to reach out to me.

To the brave official in France who did this because they were so moved by the evil of Charlie's public execution to risk their own life — May God bless you. Truly.

Let all be revealed.
And a follow-up post by Owens:

There will be no official response from the Elysee palace because what I have shared is TRUE and I have evidence to support my claim. I even have names. They are likely trying to figure out where the leak came from. We are talking about the murder of citizens for speech.

Kiev regime's relentless corruption proves the Ukraine conflict is a criminal Western proxy war racket

EU/Ukraine Racket
© Strategic Culture Foundation
The corruption fiasco that exploded last week in Ukraine shows beyond any doubt that the Kiev regime, headed up by Vladimir Zelensky, is an unmitigated disgrace and fraud. But it is not just the Kiev regime that is exposed as reprehensible. Its Western sponsors - governments, NATO, and the entire news media - are also outed for the corrupt facade that they are.

Washington may now exploit the chance to force the criminal cabal in Kiev to accept a peace deal that President Trump unveiled this week, as he desperately wants to extricate the United States from a disastrous proxy war. The European rulers, on the other hand, are, for different reasons, more tied to the sinking, stinking ship.

Zelensky, who cancelled elections last year and continues in office by decree rather than democratic mandate, and his inner circle of ministers and business associates have finally been caught with their hands in the cookie jar, allegedly helping themselves to $100 million in graft and kickbacks - all paid for courtesy of Western taxpayers. Still, that figure is only crumbs compared with the billions that have been siphoned off by the regime and its Western backers.

Since the military conflict erupted in Ukraine nearly four years ago, in February 2022, many objective observers have contended that it was a proxy war against Russia for the Western powers in a geopolitical confrontation. Ukraine was only a pawn in the bloody game. An essential driver for the proxy war was the corruption and payoffs to Zelensky and his regime to keep the whole military confrontation going, on the calculation that it would lead to the "strategic defeat of Russia."

EU must stop funding 'corrupt Ukrainian war mafia' - Orban

Orban
© Pier Marco Tacca/Getty ImagesHungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban
The EU must stop prolonging the Ukraine conflict by funding the "corrupt war mafia" in Kiev and instead focus its efforts on peace, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said.

The prime minister made the remarks on Tuesday amid a massive graft scandal that continues to rock Ukraine. Last week, the Western-backed National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) announced a probe into a "high-level criminal organization" allegedly led by Timur Mindich, a former business associate of Vladimir Zelensky. The criminal ring allegedly siphoned around $100 million in kickbacks from state-owned nuclear operator Energoatom.

Scraping together more money for Ukraine is aimed only at prolonging the hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, Orban wrote on X.

"Let's choose common sense. Let's stop funding a war that cannot be won, alongside the corrupt Ukrainian war mafia, and focus our strength on establishing peace," the prime minister said.

Brussels is seeking to "scrape" together €135 billion ($156 billion) to prop up Kiev, but it doesn't have the money, Orban wrote. The bloc's leadership has three proposals on the table regarding how to get it, and all of them lead to the same "Brusselian dead end," he argued.

Comment: Who would be stuck with the bill? The grandchildren
On Wednesday, Orban wrote on X that European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen had "once again asked the member states for additional funds to finance Ukraine and the war."

The target sum, he argued, amounts to 65% of Hungary's annual economic output and nearly three-quarters of the EU's yearly budget. Such an "astronomical sum," he added, "simply does not exist today."

"The Brusselian 'magic trick' would once again be a joint European loan, a move that would ensure even our grandchildren would be burdened with repaying the costs of the Russian-Ukrainian war," Orban wrote, describing the idea as "categorically absurd."

Von der Leyen reportedly urged EU governments to reach a swift agreement to cover Ukraine's military and financial needs for the next two years, outlining funding options including bilateral contributions, joint EU borrowing, and a reparations loan based on Russia's immobilized assets.

Orban, in response, said Brussels' strategy was like trying to "help an alcoholic by sending them another crate of vodka." He noted that the proposal was even more "astonishing" at a "time when it has become clear that a war mafia is siphoning off European taxpayers' money."

While the bloc regularly issues general warnings about corruption in Ukraine, EU officials have often refrained from addressing scandals that could reflect poorly on Zelensky and his inner circle.

Orban said recently the EU had already "burnt" €185 billion since the conflict escalated in 2022. The war "kills the EU economically," he warned, adding that Brussels should instead pursue diplomacy with Moscow.

Japan might challenge China sooner than expected

Xi and Takaichi

The emerging result is a "return to history" in the sense of former regional leaders restoring their lost spheres of influence with US support and all that entails for worsening tensions with the Sino-Russo Entente.

It was recently assessed that "Japan Will Play A Much Greater Role In Advancing The American Agenda In Asia", which its new ultra-nationalist Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has wasted no time in doing. Her first move in this direction was telling parliament that "If there are battleships and the use of force (by China against Taiwan), no matter how you think about it, it could constitute a survival-threatening situation." That lingo refers to a legal term for activating the use of Japan's "Self-Defense Forces" (SDF).

Although she didn't elaborate, her controversial logic is presumably that China's post-war control over Taiwan's semiconductor industry (provided that it survives the conflict) could lead to it coercing Japan into unilateral strategic concessions, the possibility of which fuels fears of Chinese hegemony over Asia. Takaichi then evaded answering whether her government will abide by Japan's three non-nuclear principles of no possession of nuclear weapons, no production thereof, and no hosting of others'.

The 28-point Theater of the Absurd

The chihuahuas of war will keep barking while the SMO will keep rollin' along.

The Circus Ringmaster's 28-point "peace plan" for Ukraine may be seen as a pet seal splashing around in a pond to amuse the galleries. And up next, we move to another attraction.

Yet if taken seriously - and that requires not a pinch but a barrel of salt - it's like a twin to the Circus Ringmaster's "plan" for Gaza, this time with the objective of snatching a pitiful "victory" from the jaws of the Empire of Chaos's own, de facto strategic defeat.

Let's check the reactions. Here you will find Larry Johnson's analysis - which I share - , but most of all the video of the stunning two-hour interview we had mid-week in Moscow with stellar Maria Zakharova, the most articulated Foreign Ministry spokeswoman on the planet.

What Mrs. Zakharova essentially told us is that by mid-week there was no Russian reaction because Moscow had not received anything concrete: "When we have some official information, when we receive it via a relevant channel, naturally, we will always be open to work."

Zelensky covering up 'dire' frontline situation - Moscow

Vladimir Zelensky has barred the Ukrainian military from admitting the loss of key towns to Russia, Moscow's envoy to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, has said. This is being done to hide the actual situation on the ground in the hopes that the flow of Western aid to Kiev remains unhindered, he suggested.

On Thursday, the chief of Russia's General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, told President Vladimir Putin that Russian forces have liberated the key logistics hub of Kupyansk in Ukraine's Kharkov Region.

The Ukrainian General Staff, however, has claimed that the city remains under the control of Kiev's troops.

Zelensky had previously denied the encirclement of Ukrainian forces in Kupyansk and as well as in Dmitrov-Krasnoarmeysk (Mirnograd-Pokrovsk), an urban area in Russia's Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), accusing Moscow of exaggerating its gains on the battlefield.
