The Censorship Industrial Complex's power grip in Germany

Chart censorship
New liber-net report maps an expansive network of government and private censors across Germany.

Many organizations and federal agencies involved in censoring Americans under the guise of mis/disinformation have shut down in the last couple years. Racket's Twitter Files exposed the level of censorship slime oozing from organizations such as the Stanford Internet Observatory, the Election Integrity Project, and the Virality Project. On the government side of things, there was the Global Engagement Center, the Foreign Influence Task Force, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), which still exists but is no longer involved in mis/disnfo work.

That's not to say America is perfect when it comes to free speech, but as Sen. Rand Paul said in September, "throughout government, the censorship apparatus that Biden had put in place is gone."

However, if you look to Germany, the strongest economic power in the European Union, it's easy to see where America was going. It has about 330 organizations working with federal and state levels of government to suppress speech and about 425 grants — mostly from the government — that fund this work, according to research from liber-net, a free speech group that tracks censorship.

Comment: Censorship Industrial Complex: A robust and dangerous alliance of governments, international institutions, tech giants, media outlets, academic institutions, and advocacy groups collaborating to control the flow of information, primarily online.

What was Project Mercury that Meta quietly shut down after it exposed social media harm?

Newly unsealed court filings reveal that Meta quietly ended Project Mercury, an internal study showing that users who took a break from Facebook felt less anxious and socially pressured. The disclosures — part of a sweeping US lawsuit targeting multiple social platforms — raises questions over whether tech giants withheld evidence of potential mental-health risks to young users.

A set of newly unsealed legal filings in the United States have revealed that Meta discontinued an internal mental-health experiment — known as Project Mercury — after early results showed that stepping away from Facebook appeared to make users feel less distressed.

The unredacted material, released on November 21, 2025, paints a detailed picture of how the company initiated this study, assessed its early results, and then quietly shut it down.

The revelations form part of a much broader series of allegations from school districts, state attorneys general, and parents, who maintain that major social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snap, and Google's YouTube knowingly failed to prevent mental-health harms among young users while publicly insisting that their products were safe.

The filings argue that the companies either withheld crucial research or downplayed internal warnings — even as they expanded efforts to attract younger audiences.

UK Government "Resist" Program Monitors Citizens' Online Posts

Eye cell phone graphic
Let's begin with a simple question. What do you get when you cross a bloated PR department with a clipboard-wielding surveillance unit?

The answer, apparently, is the British Government Communications Service (GCS). Once a benign squad of slogan-crafting, policy-promoting clipboard enthusiasts, they've now evolved (or perhaps mutated) into what can only be described as a cross between MI5 and a neighborhood Reddit moderator with delusions of grandeur.

Yes, your friendly local bureaucrat is now scrolling through Facebook groups, lurking in comment sections, and watching your aunt's status update about the "new hotel down the road filling up with strangers" like it's a scene from Homeland. All in the name of "societal cohesion," of course.

The European matryoshka of irrelevance

The EU/NATO combo cannot but play the role of pathetic yapping chihuahuas. That's the price you pay for a matrioshka of supreme stupidity.

No one ever lost money betting on the politically suicidal instincts of post-Orwellian EU - that acronym for a virtual Europe.

Call them juvenile bipolar psychos or a bunch of yapping chihuahuas: no Jupiterian or Mercurial voice of reason has been capable to impart to the "leadership" in Brussels and their vassals in most European capitals - yes, there are healthy exceptions - that losers in wars do not dictate terms.

And still those War Council luminaries - with a special starring role for the toxic Pfizer Medusa and her Estonian sidekick unable to even manage a herring stall in the Baltics - insist that essentially the mega-corrupt gang in Kiev must prevail, to the last Ukrainian dead, and on top of it dictate the final terms of their non-surrender.

Reality begs to differ. Plan A was never to talk, much less negotiate with Russia. And still there's no Plan B.

So after the 28-pointer Theater of the Absurd - which is not even Trump's plan, but a mish mash concocted by the Witkoff-Dmitriev duo plus "insights" from neo-con Rubio and toxic Zionist asset Jared Kushner - the cross-yapping went ballistic, leading to an emergency "counter-plan" that is, what else, a Loser's Manifesto.

Even Rubio allowed himself a shining moment: "What plan?" Might as well call it The Euro-kiss of Death.

Russia, meanwhile, behaves like Lao Tzu surrounded by rabid stray dogs. The conditions for a negotiation have been set in detail by Putin since June 2024. These are non-negotiable, and would allow the negotiation to start: Kiev withdraws from the four regions and formally pledges to never enter NATO.

One of the EU's "counter-plan" points is a 30-day ceasefire, with all territorial disputes to be debated afterwards. So that means everything frozen on the current front line, and no Ukraine withdrawal from the parts of Donbass they still occupy.

None of that - and much more - is remotely acceptable to the actual winner of the war, Russia. It would not be acceptable even if NATO troops were entering Moscow tomorrow.

So the "counter-plan", elaborated in conjunction with the unimaginably corrupt Kiev combo, is essentially a sabotage op to buy some extra time and buy some $6 trillion in - American - weapons - for their amply avowed Forever War. Fine with Moscow - as the SMO will keep going on, rolling thunder mode.

"It's A Tinder Box": GOP Members Consider Following MTG Into Retirement, Say White House Treats Them 'Like Garbage'

Marjorie Taylor Greene
Following the surprise announcement by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) that she's retiring from Congress in 42 days - claiming that President Trump and House Republicans have abandoned America First priorities, it appears that others within the GOP are looking for the exit as well.

According to Punchbowl News, they received several messages over the weekend from disaffected Republicans who may follow MTG's lead.

One particularly pissed Republican told Punchbowl:
"This entire White House team has treated ALL members like garbage. ALL. And Mike Johnson has let it happen because he wanted it to happen. That is the sentiment of nearly all — appropriators, authorizers, hawks, doves, rank and file. The arrogance of this White House team is off putting to members who are run roughshod and threatened. They don't even allow little wins like announcing small grants or even responding from agencies. Not even the high profile, the regular rank and file random members are more upset than ever. Members know they are going into the minority after the midterms.

"More explosive early resignations are coming. It's a tinder box. Morale has never been lower. Mike Johnson will be stripped of his gavel and they will lose the majority before this term is out."
The outlet does note that MTG has "never been representative of the House Republican Conference writ large," and "clearly has a bone to pick with Trump and the leadership."

Ukraine Tentatively Agrees To Trump-Backed Peace Plan

A US official privy to negotiations is claiming major progress Tuesday, telling ABC News the Ukrainian delegation has agreed to the United States' potential peace plan, at a moment it's still being hotly debated, especially among the Europeans.

"The Ukrainians have agreed to the peace deal," the US official said, but without specifying much in the way of details. "There are some minor details to be sorted out but they have agreed to a peace deal."

Of course, the proverbial devil is in the details, along with each side's 'red lines' - and so this claim should be taken with caution at this still very early point.

The Trump White House has set a deadline of Thursday, or Thanksgiving Day in America, for the warring sides to reach a deal. This suggests these talks are moving along with intensity and a sense of urgency.

DOGE demise? Reuters wrecked over fake news DOGE shutdown story

Top official says outlet "spliced my comments"

President Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has "disbanded" - or at least that's the narrative Reuters is pushing to start the week, as the globalist left-leaning media outlet tries to rile up the progressive base and claim a victory.

Reuters ran with the headline, "Exclusive: DOGE 'doesn't exist' with eight months left on its charter," and recently quoted Office of Personnel Management Director Scott Kupor saying, "That doesn't exist," when asked about DOGE's status.

It's no longer a "centralized entity," Kupor added, in the first public comments from the Trump administration.

Fumbling the ball: Ex-assistant director fumes that FBI missed 'multiple opportunities' to stop Thomas Crooks

FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker

The FBI had multiple "missed opportunities" to stop Thomas Crooks before he tried to assassinate President Trump, a former assistant director at the Bureau has told The Post.

Last week, The Post reported on multiple extremist social media posts believed to be tied to Crooks, including numerous threats of political violence and a dramatic shift against Trump, after previously expressing his admiration for the Republican.

If even "half" of Trump's would-be assassin's extremist digital footprint turns out to be true, he should have been on the FBI's radar long before the 20-year-old opened fired on the then-presumptive GOP presidential nominee during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, said Chris Swecker, a retired FBI assistant director.

Comment: Was it really a mess of "missed opportunities"? The whole thing stinks:

President Trump could reveal existence of non-human intelligent life in 'near future,' says doc director

The most significant presidential announcement in human history might be just around the corner.

Dan Farah, the director behind the explosive documentary The Age of Disclosure (out Friday), tells Entertainment Weekly he believes the release of his film could lead to the President of the United States publicly revealing the existence of non-human intelligent life.
"I think it's only a matter of time before the release of this film is followed by a sitting president stepping to the podium and telling the world, 'We're not alone in the universe'. It's the most significant moment a leader could possibly have."
Through shocking testimony from 34 U.S. Government, military, and intelligence community officials — including former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, current Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Senator Kristen Gillibrand — the film explores what many of the interview subjects describe as an "80-year global cover-up of non-human intelligent life and a secret war among major nations to reverse-engineer advanced technology of non-human origin."

The Visegrad Four: Changing geopolitical landscapes

The Visegrad Group (V4), long considered the pillar of Central European sovereignty, is undergoing a profound reconfiguration: Poland is losing its regional authority, and Budapest-Bratislava-Prague-Belgrade is forming a new axis.

In 2025, Poland's role in the bloc has become increasingly unstable as Prime Minister Donald Tusk — weakened after his party's defeat in the presidential election — aligns Warsaw firmly with Brussels' foreign policy agenda.

The Shifting Table of Visegrád

At the same time, Serbia is emerging not as a formal member, but as the strategic centre of a de facto "V4+." Belgrade positions itself as a bridge in an increasingly multipolar order, deepening ties with Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia — countries now coalescing into a pragmatic, sovereigntist cluster. President Aleksandar Vučić's policy of strategic balance — building bridges between East and West while safeguarding national autonomy — captures this shift.

This alignment reflects a shared focus on economic stability and skepticism toward prolonging confrontation with Russia. These governments prioritize negotiated solutions and domestic priorities, whereas Poland, by contrast, moves in the opposite direction. Tusk's commitment to Brussels' confrontational line — increasingly questioned by Poles themselves — stands in growing tension with regional sentiment. As Serbia's influence rises, Poland's voice within the V4 diminishes.
