The plan reportedly includes Ukraine relinquishing control over the entire eastern Donbas region, which means including areas currently occupied by Russia as well as parts not under Russian occupation. However, the plan also calls for Russia to freeze its forces in place in Kherson and Zaporhyzhia and to withdraw Russian forces from Kharkiv and Sumy. That is a non-starter for Russia.

Highlander We have talked about this before ...painting the entire population of the US with the same brush(a bunch of neocon war mongers). Even though the population in the US has so called representatives that doesn't mean they "represent" the people's interests. In other words, the elections are messed with, and the politicians paid off and blackmailed. Even running for office requires zillions of dollars these days. Most of US citizens are horrified at what their leadership is doing, but don't have the means to combat it. Yes, there are bigger numbers, but the dollars are way unbalanced to where the average Joe or Jane is barely keeping their head above water. And thus, organizing resistance is very hard in this environment. And the "resistance" is funded, but only to keep the people from organizing(not actual resistance). And the worst offenders have dual Israel and US citizenship and passports(okay throw in English City of Londoners Rhodes Scholars too). That is a very tiny portion of the population.
