'Just the beginning': Trump drops big news about Durham probe

Donald Trump is predicting that the recent court filings from Special Counsel John Durham are "just the beginning" of what's to come.

Trump reacted to reports that Durham said in a court filing that lawyers for the Clinton campaign paid a tech company to "infiltrate" servers belonging to Trump Tower and the Trump White House in an effort to establish a "narrative" linking Trump to Russia. He told Fox News:
"It looks like this is just the beginning, because, if you read the filing and have any understanding of what took place, and I called this a long time ago, you're going to see a lot of other things happening, having to do with what, really, just is a continuation of the crime of the century. This is such a big event, nobody's seen anything like this. Who would think a thing like this is even possible? Durham is also coming up with things far bigger than anybody thought possible — Nobody ever thought a thing like this would be even discussed, let alone an act like this committed."
According to the special counsel's filing, Durham revealed his investigation thus far has found inauthentic "user-generated" data on devices, adding that the CIA said the data that purportedly showed links between the former president and Russian banks "was not technically plausible," "did not withstand technical scrutiny," "conflicted with [itself]," and was "user-created and not machine/tool generated.

Musk slams former Russian chess champion Kasparov

Veteran Kremlin critic Garry Kasparov took to Twitter to partake in the flame war ignited by the controversial Ukraine peace plan floated by Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. The attempt in virtue-signaling, however, failed spectacularly after Musk shot back, wondering what exactly Kasparov had done himself about the situation in Ukraine, apart from tweeting.

Musk floated his peace plan on Monday, proposing to hold anew UN-supervised referendums in former Ukrainian territories currently being incorporated into Russia. Ukraine should also give up its claim to Crimea, which broke away from the country back in 2014, as well as ensure a steady water supply to the peninsula and declare itself a neutral country.

The plan invoked the fury of Ukrainian officials, Kiev supporters and assorted opponents of Russia. Among others, chess champ-turned political activist Kasparov showed up in the thread, accusing the billionaire of spreading "Kremlin propaganda".

Rock legend says he's on Ukrainian 'kill list'

British rock star Roger Waters, a co-founder of Pink Floyd, has allegedly been placed on a Ukrainian "kill list" after speaking out against Western military meddling and calling on Kiev to make peace with Russia.

In an interview with Rolling Stone published on Tuesday, the 79-year-old pushed back against accusations that he's been repeating Russian talking points about the conflict in Ukraine. "Don't forget, I'm on a kill list that is supported by the Ukrainian government. I'm on the fu**ing list, and they've killed people recently... When they kill you, they write 'liquidated' across your picture. Well, I'm one of those fu**ing pictures."

Waters gave the example of Darya Dugina, the Russian journalist murdered in August after appearing on the Ukrainian Mirotvorets list. As the musician noted, her entry on the list was marked "liquidated" after she was killed in a car-bombing. Others who have questioned or criticized the Kiev regime, such as photojournalists Andrea Rocchelli of Italy and Andrei Stenin of Russia, have also been killed after appearing on the Mirotvorets list. The site lists personal information on its blacklist targets, which also include politicians and NGO activists.

Dozens of French operatives from the Directorate-General for External Security (DGSE) have been deployed to Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict between Moscow and Kiev, Le Figaro newspaper has reported, citing an intelligence source.

The source told the newspaper's senior international correspondent Georges Malbrunot that "about fifty men from the DGSE Action Service have been deployed in Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion." The agents are performing different tasks in the country, among these being processing satellite imagery provided by Paris to Kiev, Malbrunot added.

Secret societies: Harmless members-only clubs or dire threats to democracy?

"The very word 'secrecy' is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings."

- John F. Kennedy, April 27, 1961

Long before the fiction writer Dan Brown arrived on the literary scene with his stories of esoterica, people have been intrigued with the idea of secret societies working in the shadows, carrying out evil plots against them. On this score, it would be hard to beat the Freemasons.

Here is a group of characters that has piqued the imaginations of men throughout the centuries. Back in 1798, John Robison, a professor of Natural Philosophy, and Secretary to the Royal Society of Edinburgh, published a book that made a big splash throughout Europe. The publication carried the lengthy title, 'Proofs of a Conspiracy against All the Religions and Governments of Europe, Carried on in the Secret Meetings of Freemasons, Illuminati and Reading Societies.' Had John Robison attempted to publish such a book in our day, he would have been quickly written off as a conspiracy theorist nut job along the lines of Alex Jones. But in 1798, the book was taken quite seriously.

Robison, himself a Mason, attempted to prove that not only the French Revolution, but many other historic events of the day were the result of this secret fraternity's machinations.

Desperate US officials still spreading propaganda about Russian election interference during midterm elections

US officials are once again pointing fingers at Russia over interference in American elections, reportedly warning that Moscow is trying to sow seeds of doubt about the legitimacy of November's congressional midterms.

"Russia is amplifying divisive topics already circulating on the Internet - including doubts about the integrity of American elections - but not creating its own content," the Associated Press reported on Tuesday, citing an unidentified FBI official. The outlet also obtained an unclassified intelligence advisory warning about potential election interference by Russia and China.

The red flags are just the latest in a long line of US election-interference accusations against Russia. A 22-month investigation in 2017-2019 failed to find evidence that Donald Trump's campaign colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election, but the media-hyped probe disrupted the new president's policy agenda. Former intelligence officials and media outlets claimed Russian meddling again when allegations of influence-peddling by Joe Biden's family surfaced weeks before the 2020 presidential election. The basis of the alleged scandal - a laptop abandoned by Hunter Biden - was later authenticated by the New York Times and the Washington Post, long after Joe Biden was elected.

China's efforts in the midterm elections include targeting certain candidates whom it sees as opposed to its policy interests, the FBI official told AP. Beijing is taking a different approach in this year's congressional races than it did in 2020, according to the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS). US intelligence agencies reportedly determined that Chinese officials considered trying to influence the 2020 presidential election but chose not to get involved.

"The current environment is pretty complex, arguably much more complex than it was in 2020," DHS cybersecurity director Jen Easterly told reporters on Monday.

S. Korea, US and Japan hold anti-N. Korean submarine drills days after NK flies ICBM over entire Japanese island

South Korea, U.S. and Japanese warships launched their first trilateral anti-submarine drills in five years on Friday, after North Korea renewed missile tests this week in an apparent response to bilateral training by South Korean and U.S. forces.

The North's recent five missiles launches, the first such tests in a month, also came before and after U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris visited South Korea on Thursday and reaffirmed the "ironclad" U.S. commitment to the security of its Asian allies.

The one-day three-nation training off the Korean Peninsula's east coast is meant to cope with a North Korean push to advance its ability to fire missile from submarines, according to a South Korean navy statement.

North Korea has been building bigger submarines including a nuclear-powered one and testing sophisticated missiles that can be fired from them in recent years. That's an alarming development for its rivals because it's harder to detect underwater-launched missiles in advance.

The importance of leadership in a time of crisis: Why Putin's words reflect a new potential trajectory for humanity

During times of darkness and mass stupidity dev, there are some shining examples of greatness at play, Matthew Ehret writes.

It is nice to see that during times of darkness and mass stupidity devoid of moral leadership among so many once-great centers of western civilization, there are some shining examples of greatness at play. Not only are there examples of greatness, but in some instances, these examples have found expression within corridors of actual power which are shaping the contour of humanity's future.

Such is the case with today's Russia, which has come a very long way since the dark days of Perestroika when the Russian economy, military, culture, and people were brutally eviscerated by the utopic fantasies of end-of-history ideologues championing the onset of a New World Order.

Under this post-nation state/post-truth logic, the ancient civilizations of earth were supposed to be reset like a giant video game, shock therapied, and re-tooled like traumatized blank slates into a new synthetic "type" of depopulated humanity composed of drone-like zombies devoid of any residual pollution of family, national or religious traditions.

The Soros-owned Russia of the 1990s was of course meant to be the role model for the rest of the world.

City of London-controlled sociopathic Russian oligarchs were created in short order serving as warlord managers of the once powerful Russian state as it was privatized and Balkanized into a liberal den of future-less insanity. CIA operatives had offices in the highest offices of Russia's military and intelligence agencies, while the banking system, pharmaceutical industries and much more fell under the control of western technocrats and monetarist lunatics.
