"It just isn't fair, and we have to protect girls' sports in our schools."She's right.
I don't know how one could further deligitimize an already illegitimate make believe identity. We've been here before.
A cat is not a dog & never will be, no matter how good the dog suit is you dress it up in.As with so very many others, you appear fixated on the mere, and I do mean mere , physical aspect of a given incarnation.
You know nothing about my opinion except you disagree. Not quite, let's a little do memory lane shall we ? Two years ago, maybe three you, HFL and a few others got a quite little lynch mob mentality going on and I was 'gay', useless for The Work, a danger to children, halfway, if not completely, out of my mind, condoning 'mutilation' and rather more besides. Remember ?
I liked to cross dress when I was younger and fantasized about being a woman. No joke. This by your own figuring would make my opinion count. You disagree with it though, so you belittle and dismiss it.See the immediately foregoing, with the addition that those speaking from zero lived experience and/or zero empathic capacity cannot hold valid opinions about much of anything.
Not very good opticsWe're at a bit of an impasse that I expect you're capable of resolving.
Rowan Cocoan What I do wish to hear, though, is your impression on what to me appears to have been the PTB and the whole med/pharma/et al. industry coopting [ . . . ] any such discussions of such for their purposes, etc.I'm not sure quite what you mean but given their, "Money for us at any cost and society be damned" zeitgeist it'd be no surprise to find they've at least somewhat "spooked up" some discussions.
Also, as re any changes since that time, I'm curious to hear your impressions from what I call ground realityHere again, I'm unsure what you mean.
What fetters the mind and benumbs the spirit is ever the dogged acceptance of absolutes. - Edward Sapir
Genuine TG-ism is a rare occurrence and these days the number of "diagnoses" is simply bad medicine, with all its regrettable outcomes and Hater influences. Thanks!
rayson You realize you just confirmed my point with your story, right?Ahh, no; wrong . . .
What fetters the mind and benumbs the spirit is ever the dogged acceptance of absolutes. - Edward SapirAs I said in another discussion today, genuine TG-ism is a rare occurrence and before one can meaningfully speak to the matter one must have either lived experience within the matter or sufficient empathic capacity to grok the experience of another. Failing either one, one has almost nothing to say . . .
Now, bearing in mind the second and third standard deviations in a bimodal distribution please explain, exactly, about your either/or, "cats is cats and dogs is dogs" shtick.Kindly address the matter or . . . .
