During the hurricane in Rostov-on-Don, one person died and another 13 were injured.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", in 15 cities and districts of the Rostov region, there were problems with electricity supply after the rains and gusty winds, and in some areas, there were also issues with water supply. Local residents complained that during the hurricane, police, rescue services, gas, and utility services were unavailable, and in some cases, specialists did not arrive for several hours.

During the hurricane in Rostov-on-Don, one person died, reported the city's mayor Alexander Skryabin. "13 people were injured, 7 hospitalized, one died," he wrote today in his Telegram channel.



During the hurricane, more than 100 incidents occurred, and the aftermath of the bad weather was dealt with all night. Six rescue teams, three teams from the regional rescue service, and 21 emergency crews from the city district administrations and utility companies were involved in the aftermath response.

"The consequences of 26 incidents have been eliminated, and 73 incidents remain under control," the mayor reported.

He explained that first, roads and sidewalks are being cleared of branches and trunks of fallen trees, and in the second stage, cleaning is underway. "Water supply has been fully restored. Work on restoring electricity continues," noted Alexander Skryabin.
