When I was a kid, you had to be a six footer to join the police, nowadays they only recruit midgets, dwarves, thumbelinas and bonsai folk.
What-is-the-fricking-point-in-that-you-may-well-ask? Well, equal opps, I guess. I can see the reasoning for that up to the point where The London Metropolitan Police becomes a fricking flea circus.
Maybe he had one of those shoehorns for disabled folks that help them reach the back of their shoes and are about half a meter long, but... whatever. Here in America we (supposedly) would prefer to die a firey death than risk a few superficial cuts... per 9/11 'official story.'
