First, mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are given in the upper arm muscle or upper thigh, depending on the age of who is getting vaccinated.Or, in other words, as we have long been told, "it" - the mRNA - "stays in the arm." And then, after having instructed the muscle cells to produce the spike, is disposed of.
After vaccination, the mRNA will enter the muscle cells. Once inside, they use the cells' machinery to produce a harmless piece of what is called the spike protein.... After the protein piece is made, our cells break down the mRNA and remove it, leaving the body as waste.

A Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center nurse administers a Moderna COVID-19 booster vaccine at an inoculation station next to Jackson State University in Jackson, Miss., Friday, Nov. 18, 2022.
The 2023 list includes shots for the flu, measles mumps and rubella, polio, and other inoculations.
The vaccine schedule represents the current recommendations for people as a regular part of their vaccinations against common infectious diseases. It does not mean the CDC is requiring a COVID-19 shot for children or that schools will have to require that students receive the shot before enrolling.

On the left is a healthy control lung, while on the right is post-mortem lung tissue from someone who died from Covid - with the newly-discovered LRRC15 receptor shown in green
A protein in the lungs that blocks Covid and forms a natural barrier to the virus has been discovered by scientists at the University of Sydney.
The naturally occurring protein, LRRC15, works by attaching itself to the virus like Velcro, preventing the Covid particles from binding with more vulnerable cells - as well as reducing the chance of infection. The astonishing find may finally explain why some people suffer serious illness with the virus, or even death, while others never get sick or appear symptomless.
LRRC15 is not known to be present in humans until the virus enters the body, but it appears after infection.
The protein helps activate the body's response to Covid and the team behind the incredible find hopes it will offer a promising pathway to develop new drugs to fight the virus.
Researchers believe that patients who died from Covid-19 did not produce enough of the protein, or produced it too late to make a difference.
"The Cochrane Library contains high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. It includes reliable evidence from Cochrane and other systematic reviews, clinical trials, and more. Cochrane reviews bring you the combined results of the world's best medical research studies, and are recognized as the gold standard in evidence-based health care."The Cochran Library has been reviewing the use of physical interventions to interrupt or reduce the spread of respiratory viruses since 2010. By physical interventions, they mean masks, shields, gowns, hand-washing, etc.
This is not some short-term project, but a long-term, serious meta-analysis review. As stated above, the Cochran reviews are considered the gold standard for health care agencies and professionals. When Jill and I took our fellowship training at Harvard in Global Clinical Research, the Cochran methodology for medical research meta-analysis was taught as the preferred method.
Men experienced a 50% to 60% decline in sperm counts from 1973 to 2011, the 2017 study found, amounting to a decline of over 1% per year over the last 50 years.1,2
The team then expanded the study, adding seven years of data and an expanded geographical range. The new study, published in Human Reproduction Update in November 2022,3 includes data from six continents and 53 countries, including years 2011 to 20184 — but the results reveal an equally disturbing trend.

"We were surprised to find them," Professor Jeanette Rotchell said in a press release accompanying the paper's publication in the journal PLoS One. "We already know microplastics are in blood...but it was not clear whether they could cross blood vessels into vascular tissue and this work would suggest they can do just that."
The UK-based researchers found an average concentration of 15 particles of plastic per gram of vein tissue, similar to or higher than the levels found in lung and colon tissue, but observed that the shape and types of plastic found in the vascular tissue was markedly different from other tissue types.
The study, published in the peer-reviewed Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, is the strongest science to date refuting the basis for mask mandates worldwide.

Politicians, however, are undeterred in continuing with the proliferation of electronic communication, now in the form of 5G. The Government states that it has a "clear ambition for the U.K. to be a global leader in the next generation of mobile technology, 5G", and that there is "enormous potential to boost productivity and grow the economy" through it. It's worth noting that almost all independent commentators on 5G suggest that the motives for its launch are entirely economic, not humanitarian. Certainly I don't know anyone who is enthusiastic about smart cities, smart motorways, driverless cars or the intensification of electronic communications in healthcare settings, for example.
New guidelines will significantly reduce the amount of sugar and sodium US children are consuming in their school lunches and breakfasts. Nutrition standards for school lunches proposed Friday will limit the amount of added sugars in cafeteria meals. It is the first time these types of restrictions will be put in place.
New standards will go into place in the 2025-26 school year. It will reduce sugar in goods such as chocolate milk, cereal and yogurt. It will also limit the number of times per week sweets such as pastries will be made available for breakfast.
Officials say that more than 15million children eat breakfast and 30million eat lunch at school each day. They want these meals to meet national food guidelines.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports 19.7 percent of US children are obese, as many experts have described it as a crisis
