New UN report says that pesticides are not needed to feed the world

farmed vegetables
The argument for the extreme overuse of agrichemicals in global industrial farming is that supposedly without the advances made by Monsanto and other chemical giants, the world would starve. We need products like glyphosate, terminator seeds and genetically modified foods to feed so many people, they say, but this is really nothing more than a popular myth, pushed on the public as part of a marketing effort to convince people who thousands of years of organic agricultural history is outdated and inadequate for the times we live in today.

The contemporary industrial model has many problems associated with it, including the poisoning of the environment, widespread disease and cancer associated with agrichemicals, the pollution of bodies of water with fertilizers, the depletion of quality topsoil, and the as of yet unknown long-term effects of tinkering with plant genetics.

According to a new report by the United Nations (UN), continuing to adhere to this model of agriculture is guaranteed to bring about catastrophic consequences, and that organic farming is in fact the best way to feed an ever-growing world.
"It is a myth. Using more pesticides is nothing to do with getting rid of hunger. According to the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), we are able to feed 9 billion people today. Production is definitely increasing, but the problem is poverty, inequality and distribution." ~ Hilal Elver, UN special rapporteur on the right to food

Breaking: NVIC tracking 134 vaccine bills introduced in 35 states

vaccine bill map
A tidal wave of new bills has flooded 35 states in the U.S., threatening to either limit or completely eradicate vaccine exemptions. Clearly health freedom and informed consent is undergoing full frontal assualt right now. Please read, share, and take action accordingly.

In 2015 California signed into law the highly contested Senate Bill 277 (SB277) accomplishing two outcomes. First, the bill eliminated the personal belief exemption for vaccination. Second, the bill's actionable directives served as a sobering wake up call that mobilized the public and medical community to enter the fight for an evaporating health freedom and informed consent.

Yet, despite multiple whistleblowers within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) spotlighting research corruption and pharmaceutical industry collusion, over $3 billion dollars paid out in vaccine damages by the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, widespread vaccine contamination, and overall ineffectiveness and dangers of the current vaccine schedule there has now been 134 vaccine bills introduced in 35 states in the first seven weeks of the US legislative session.

According to the National Vaccine Information Center's (NVIC) Advocacy Team who track vaccine-related bills, 31 new bills have been added since the team's last update two weeks prior. Eight of these new bills are in five states appearing for the first time. The coordinated legislative push represents nothing short of a full frontal onslaught by pharmaceutical companies, working through their lobbied politicians, to force dangerous vaccine products upon the backs of the entire US population.

Antimicrobial resistance - The looming medical apocalypse

bacteria
Perhaps the most pressing crisis facing humanity is the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. It is estimated that by 2050, 10 million people will die every year from resistant bacterial infections. Bacteria have been developing antimicrobial resistance for over 2 billion years, we have known of the problem of resistant bacteria since the 1980s, yet it is only now that we are taking concerted action to address the problem. The question is: are we too late?

Toward a post-antibiotic era?

"A post-antibiotic era means, in effect, an end to modern medicine as we know it." - Margaret Chan, Director General, World Health Organization

The 'post-antibiotic era' is defined as that time when the majority of bacteria have developed resistance to all known antibiotics in our medicinal arsenal, and so something as simple as a childhood graze could once more carry the risk of death, and routine and safe surgical interventions likewise become routinely life-threatening. According to the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections affect at least 2 million people annually in the US, resulting in at least 23,000 deaths. These are conservative estimates, based on 2011 data. Globally, it is estimated that 700,000 people die each year from antimicrobial resistant bacterial infections, and modelling commissioned by the UK government in 2016 estimates 10 million deaths annually and a cumulative cost to society of 100 trillion US dollars by the year 2050.

Magnesium: Fresh hope for tinnitus sufferers

You may be familiar with the experience of a ringing sensation in your ears after a night out enjoying some good music. Perhaps you've never given it a second thought as the sound normally disappears on its own.

But what if you were to wake up in the morning and still have the ringing in your ears? And what if the ringing never stopped?

This is tinnitus- better described as the phantom perception of sound. Tinnitus affects 10 to 15% of the adult population worldwide and there are currently no drug therapies available on the market. The reason for this is a limited understanding of how tinnitus sets in and what prevents it from going away.

My work at the University of Leicester is focused on filling in the current knowledge gaps - and Dr Thomas Tagoe, one of my former PhD students, funded by Action on Hearing Loss, made some exciting discoveries which were recently published in The Journal of Experimental Neurology. The discovery is not a magic pill against tinnitus, but reveals some of the mechanisms underlying its development and provides avenues for possible treatment.

Toxic world: WHO reports pollution responsible for a quarter of deaths among young children

air pollution, pollution child deaths
Pollution is the cause of one in four deaths among all children under five the world over, with toxic air, unsafe water, and lack of sanitation the leading causes, the World Health Organization (WHO) has found.

A pair of reports simultaneously issued by the WHO found polluted environments cause the deaths of 1.7 million children annually, and many of the deaths could be prevented by interventions already known to work, such as providing cleaner cooking fuels to stop indoor air pollution.

"A polluted environment is a deadly one, particularly for young children. Their developing organs and immune systems — and smaller bodies and airways — make them especially vulnerable to dirty air and water," said Dr. Margaret Chan, Director General of the WHO.

Doctor - 'pharma drug caused transgender'

Dr. Dana Beyer
© 10 NewsDr. Dana Beyer. DES researcher
DES (diethylstilbestrol) is a synthetic version of estrogen that was given to pregnant women from 1940 to the 1970's. It was marketed by pharma as a medication which would alleviated morning sickness and prevent miscarriages. It was a load of 50,000 times the normal amounts of estrogen. Women were told they were taking "super vitamins."

Decades later, it was shown that DES was a contributing cause to cancer in the women who took the synthetic estrogen and the children who were in utero at the time. A new movie in development called Wonder Drug is documenting the horrific circumstances surrounding DES.
The currently proven effects of exposure include a rare vaginal cancer in DES Daughters; greater risk for breast cancer in DES Mothers; possible risk for testicular cancer in DES Sons; abnormal reproductive organs; infertility; high-risk pregnancies; and an increased risk for breast cancer in DES Daughters after age 40. There are a number of other suspected effects, including auto-immune disorders, but many of these effects are still awaiting further research.

Pesticide exposure linked to damage of the oral microbiome

A new study published in the journal Applied and Environmental Microbiology has demonstrated a disturbing link between pesticide exposure and the destruction of healthy bacteria of the mouth.

The study involved an examination of "oral buccal microbiota" in an agriculutural community involving 65 farm workers and 52 non-farm workers. The purpose of the study was to investigate whether or not pesticide exposure caused any changes in the mouth bacteria.

Of course, not all bacteria is bad including streptococcus which is actually one of the most common bacteria found in the mouth.

What was found was that not only did farm workers have a higher blood level of pesticides, they also had greater changes in mouth bacteria in individuals who did not work on farms.

Pennsylvania proposes mandatory vaccine bill

mandatory vaccines
Pennsylvanians are facing a horrendous loss of freedom of healthcare choices together with interference in their constitutional rights relative to valid informed consent and the right to self-determination regarding vaccines/vaccinations, plus the deliberate and mandatory imposition of fraudulent vaccine information regarding pseudoscience in vaccinology from the unfortunate introduction of SB 217 in the current legislative session [2017-18] by four Pennsylvania Senators.

Pennsylvania State Senators Daylin Leach (D-17), Lawrence D Farnese (D-1), Sharif Street (D-3) and Bob Mensch (R-24) introduced into the Harrisburg bill hopper, a draconian bill similar to California's SB 277, which would deny an individual child and parents their rights to refuse neurotoxic vaccines/vaccinations. SB 217 amends P.L.30, No.14 known as the Public School Code of 1949 as follows:

Section 1303. Immunization Required; Penalty. - *

(e) Notwithstanding any rule or regulation to the contrary,

a strong moral or ethical conviction similar to a religious

belief may not qualify as an exemption from the immunization

requirements of this section. [CJF emphasis added]

Once passed, the law would go into effect in 60 days!

The false argument for herd immunity and vaccination vs. naturally-made host resistance and strong immune systems

Herd immunity
Hail to the herd! The herd is all!

The concept of herd immunity (protection for the population) is often used by vaccine addicts as a way to push guilt at people who don't line up their children for shots.

"Your unvaccinated child is a danger to my vaccinated child!"

Excuse me?

Protecting children who are already vaccinated? Really?

Little Jimmy, whose parents have decided not to vaccinate him, will pass diseases on to kids who are already vaccinated? What? Oh, you mean those immunized kids aren't really safe? Then why did you vaccinate them in the first place?

'Conspiracy theory' confirmed: Documents show government covered up cell phone cancer risks for years

cellphonecancer
After years hidden from the public, California Department of Public Health officials have finally released a draft document outlining health concerns stemming from cellphone radiation — including multiple cancers and infertility.

"We have evidence of brain tumors and other head and neck tumors. We also have evidence of sperm damage in males, infertility in females," explained Joel Moskowitz of U.C. Berkeley's School of Public Health, who sued the state in 2016 under the California Public Records Act to obtain the information.

Although the Department of Public Health ultimately chose not to publish the document — both pages have since been emblazoned with "Draft and Not for Public Release" — its content is of critical import to cellphone users around the planet.

San Francisco affiliate ABC7 reports, "Moskowitz says there's been a lot of pressure from the wireless industry to keep any kind of negative report on cellphones hidden from the public," and, he notes,

"[T]hey've done a very good job at it, essentially following the same playbook that the tobacco industry used."
