The results of a recently released survey of American voters show President Donald Trump's approval rating plummeting as his opponents use some choice expressions to describe their commander-in-chief.

The results of the survey, conducted by the Connecticut-based Quinnipiac University, show that, "idiot, incompetent and liar" were the most commonly given answers when respondents were asked for the first word that comes to mind when they think about President Trump.

In fact, of the top 20 most given words, only four (strong, great, successful and leader) were positive and four (president, businessman, business and trying) were neutral.

Other less-than-flattering descriptors were "buffoon, con-man, clown, narcissistic, bigot and embarrassment."

A former electrician decapitated himself with a homemade guillotine after meticulously planning his own death.

John Straight, 58, who suffered from schizophrenia, was found lying on his back under the machine at his home in Eastbourne, East Sussex, in February, an inquest heard.

An enormous amount of thought and preparation had gone into the planning for his death, the coroner said.

The father of two left a note in his porch warning against going into the house.

Mr Straight had also left instructions on what should be done after his death, the inquest at Hastings heard.

Sussex police detective Todd Stewart said: 'I was told the male was on a homemade guillotine at the foot of the stairs. Numerous notes were found around the house.'

Mr Straight had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and was receiving medical treatment for his mental health issues. His GP said apart from a few unusual requests, Mr Straight had always been very pleasant and it was thought he did not pose any risk to himself or others.

Journalist Gideon Levy's heartfelt apology to offended Haaretz readers

gideon levy
Gideon Levy - Ha'aretz journalist under constant attack by racists and Zionists
Gideon Levy is, with Amira Hass, the bravest and most articulate of Israeli journalists. Both have come under repeated threat from the racists who make up the majority of Israel's population. Incitement to attack opponents of Zionism in Israel is considered normal by the Zionist establishment, Labour and Likud.

Levy has had to be accompanied by body guards at times because of the threats to his life. Ha'aretz occupies a lonely place in Israel journalism. It is a liberal Zionist newspaper, hardly read by any Israelis (!) but with an international reputation for printing at least some of the truth about the ugly reality of Israel today. Amira Hass - Ha'aretz's other non-Zionist journalist. It puts to shame apologists for Israel's racists like Jeremy Newmark of the Jewish Labour Movement and the oafish deputy leader of the Labour Party Tom Watson. Indeed it puts to shame Jeremy Corbyn who has completely forgotten what he campaigned for for over 30 years.

The Dakota Access pipeline already had its first leak - 84 gallons of oil - at a pump station in South Dakota in early April, sparking outrage and calling into question its environmental safety.

The long-debated pipeline leaked crude oil on April 4 in Tulare Township in Spink County, according to the South Dakota Department of Environmental and Natural Resources. Reports of the incident emerged just several days before the pipeline becomes fully operational.

The report of the spill can be found on the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources website. The agency apparently did not make any official announcement on the incident as it was relatively minor and had no environmental impact, according to Brian Walsh, a scientist with the department, as cited by the Guardian. The site "was cleaned up right away," the official added as quoted by ABC news.

The spill occurred less than 110 miles from Lake Oahe, which supplies Sioux tribes with water.
