Over 80% of people in Britain are not adhering to self-isolation guidelines when they have COVID-19 symptoms or had contact with someone who has tested positive, a study has found.

A majority were also unable to identify the symptoms of COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the new coronavirus.

The research raises major questions about the effectiveness of England's Test and Trace programme as Prime Minister Boris Johnson seeks to keep a lid on rising infection numbers with new restrictions.

The research, led by King's College London, found that only 18.2% of people who reported having symptoms of COVID-19 in the last seven days had not left home since the symptoms developed, and only 11.9% requested a COVID-19 test.

It also found that only 10.9% of people told by the NHS Test and Trace scheme to self-isolate after close contact with a COVID-19 case had done so for 14 days as required.

The government last week introduced fines of up to 10,000 pounds ($12,780.00) for breaking self-isolation rules, and are offering a 500-pound support payment to low-paid workers who lose income from quarantining.

"Factors associated with multiple outcomes

Patterns of results were similar for all outcomes. Lower adherence was associated with being male, younger age, having a dependent child in the household, lower socio-economic grade, greater hardship, and being less informed about COVID-19 and guidance to prevent the spread of the virus (e.g. not being able to identify key symptoms of COVID-19), not knowing government guidance if you were to develop symptoms of COVID-19, and disagreeing that someone can spread COVID-19 even if they are asymptomatic"

Mandatory mask wearing is silent terrorism meant for psychological submission

face mask tyranny
"If you are too weak to give yourselves your own law, then a tyrant shall lay his yoke upon you and say:" Obey! Clench your teeth and obey!" "And all good and evil shall be drowned in obedience to him."

Friedrich Nietzsche
Since when is depriving the body and mind of oxygen, and breathing in expelled carbon dioxide (CO2) good for the health of humans? Since when is wearing a partial face covering that is multiple times more porous than can protect against any virus penetration helpful? Since when is hiding all expression from others not psychologically damaging? Since when is it legitimate and not hypocritical for the state to outlaw Muslim women from wearing head and face coverings that are part of their culture, and in the same breath force all Americans to cover their faces with a mask? Since when does any politician have any right to dictate to an entire population that they have to wear masks or any other type of clothing? Since when in this day and age did absolute slavery of all become a mainstay of American society?

Forced mask wearing due to political control over people is a major aspect of the tyrannical response to this fraudulent virus 'pandemic.' Social distancing, forced testing, quarantines, mandated business closings, temperature checks, mass surveillance, and any number of other atrocious invasions of privacy are all demeaning and oppressive, but the state and local orders supported by the national political and 'health' organizations to wear masks, is especially instructive of the real agenda sought. That agenda is as clear as day, and is being implemented not only as a test of mass societal compliance, but also to force people apart and to remove closeness, expression, and emotion from the human psyche. This is a purposeful state exercise with the intent of destroying the spirit of the American public, leaving only a society of unfeeling and obedient drones awaiting the next order handed down from on high.

Video of a Boston Dynamics Spot robot dog apparently wandering a city street on its own has struck terror into the hearts of social media users — though some defended the 'bot, pointing out humans can hurt each other without help.

A Canadian Twitter user posted video of the four-legged yellow robot ambling down the sidewalk on Thursday, though it's not clear where it was actually filmed. The person taking the footage, though initially startled, opts for a friendly approach, addressing the quadruped with "Hello friend!"

The dog-bot turns toward the cameraperson and appears to snap a photo before walking away.

Muscovites have a reputation for being a gloomy bunch. But few could blame them for feeling melancholic and sullen after the city's Mayor announced a partial, albeit voluntary, return to some coronavirus quarantine measures.

Writing on Friday morning, Sergey Sobyanin has 'recommended' that residents of the Russian capital, aged over 65, and those with chronic illnesses stay at home due to a noticeable rise in Covid-19 cases, this week. Previously he told Rossiya-1 TV that the increase in hospitalized patients with coronavirus in Moscow is "serious." The mayor added that the situation with the spread of the infection is becoming more complicated.

"Moscow residents over 65 years of age and younger citizens with chronic illnesses shouldn't, unless absolutely necessary, leave their homes or summer retreats," Sobyanin wrote on his personal blog. "So, starting on Monday, September 28, 2020, we are asking you to remain at home... working retirees over 65 and people with chronic illnesses are strongly urged to switch to a remote format or take a vacation. If necessary, you will receive medical leave."

Comment: As noted above, other officials stated that this surge was not only predictable but it's also manageable, while other experts have stated that herd immunity to the coronavirus has likely been achieved throughout most of Russia.

Federal authorities in Pennsylvania say a small number of military ballots cast for President Donald Trump were discarded in Luzerne County. The U.S. Attorney's Office of the Middle District of Pennsylvania says an investigation was launched Monday following reports of potential issues with a small number of mail-in ballots at the Luzerne County Board of Elections.

The FBI and Pennsylvania State Police have conducted interviews and recovered and reviewed physical evidence. Authorities say Luzerne County election officials have been cooperative.

Comment: And so it begins: The mail-in mail-out.
UPDATE 24/9/2020 ALL the retrieved military ballots were Trump Votes:
Mail-in ballots from the military serving overseas were found in the trash in Pennsylvania. The ballots were discovered during an investigation into election issues in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. They were all votes for President Trump.

While nine ballots have been recovered, it is not clear how many were actually discarded.

This announcement comes on the heels of a report that three trays of mail, including absentee ballots, were discovered in a ditch in Wisconsin.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany addressed both these stories on Thursday.

Rioters throw Molotov cocktails at police in Portland amid nationwide protests over Breonna Taylor case - Updates

As expected, protests erupted in the US following the ruling in the Breonna Taylor case, with Portland agitators setting fire to the police precinct and bombarding officers with stones and Molotov cocktails.

Just hours after it was announced that Louisville officers would not face charges for the killing in March of 26-year-old emergency room technician Breonna Taylor during an alleged no-knock warrant incident, downtown Portland was once again flooded with protesters.

Comment: More violence, childish tantrums, and rioting from around the country:

Black Los Angeles cop harassed with slurs by protesters in 'demon masks'
Video has surfaced of masked protesters taunting a black Los Angeles police officer with slurs and obscenities. Unrest flared as no charges were filed against two officers involved in the shooting of Breonna Taylor in Louisville.

As protests raged in cities across America following a grand jury's decision not to charge any of the officers with her murder, a group of masked demonstrators in Los Angeles surrounded a police officer and began taunting him with obscenities, according to a video posted to social media in the early hours of Thursday morning.

WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE

The officer remains composed as his assailants stick their smartphone-bearing hands in his face.

Another video from the same night showed a larger group of protesters, similarly clad in horror-movie masks, shouting abuse at cops as they pulled on the barricades the officers had erected to protect their headquarters.

Taunting cops has become something of a pastime for agitator elements amid the protests that have raged on and off since the May killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police. A Sacramento officer was similarly harassed back in June, also remaining calm as his assailants blew smoke in his face and aimed a laser pointer at his eyes.

Hundreds turned out in Los Angeles to demonstrate against the ruling on Taylor's killing. The black EMT was shot while in bed in her Louisville apartment in what was supposed to be a drug raid - even though the dealer the officers were seeking was already in prison and lived miles away. Two of the officers responsible were not charged at all, while one was charged with wanton endangerment for firing into a neighbor's home.

Two LAPD officers were shot in an apparent ambush earlier this month as nightly protests raged. Some protesters turned out to block the hospital entrance as ambulances attempted to transfer the wounded cops to surgery, shouting "We hope they die" and "Death to the police."
'Knock your old-**s boyfriend out!' BLM protesters take over elderly couple's table at Florida restaurant
Angry racial justice activists were filmed threatening an elderly couple as they took over their table at an outdoor restaurant in St. Petersburg, Florida. The incident happened amid the protests over Breonna Taylor charges.

The video circulating on social media shows dozens of protesters carrying "No justice, no peace" signs and chanting "Stand up, fight back!" outside a restaurant. At one point, an activist comes up and sits on an empty seat at a table occupied by an elderly couple.

The woman says "This is my table" while trying to remove the activist from the seat but fails to do so. More activists then approach the table. One of them calls the woman "Karen" threatens to "knock your old-**s boyfriend the f**k out."

Protests erupted in several cities on Wednesday after a grand jury in Louisville, Kentucky revealed the charges in the case about the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor. A 26-year-old black woman, Taylor was killed in a March police raid when plainclothes narcotics officers attempted to serve a search warrant at her apartment.

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron said the police had properly introduced themselves before Taylor's boyfriend opened fire on them. One officer was charged with "first degree wanton endangerment," rather than murder, which angered anti-police brutality and racial justice activists.

The protesters smashed storefront windows and started fires in Louisville. Two police officers were shot and wounded amid the chaotic atmosphere in the city. One suspect was taken into custody.
Shocking VIDEO shows Seattle cop riding his bike over man's head amid fresh wave of violent protests
At least 13 people were arrested as Seattle erupted into chaos following the Breonna Taylor case ruling. One officer was filmed pushing a bike over a protester's head, while another cop was struck in the head with a baseball bat.

A huge crowd of protesters gathered near Seattle's federal courthouse on Stewart St. and it wasn't long before the protests turned violent, as people began throwing glass bottles and other objects at police officers. The anger splashed out after Kentucky Attorney-General Daniel Cameron's announcement that the officers involved in the police shooting of Breonna Taylor in March would not be prosecuted for her death.

In one shocking moment, an officer was filmed pushing his bicycle over a prone protester's head.

WARNING: DISTURBING VIDEO

For now, the condition of the victim is not known. In its statement, local police confirmed they are aware of the footage and that the matter "will be referred to the Office of Police Accountability for further investigation."

Meanwhile, security officials claim a protester threw an explosive device near bike officers stationed outside the East Precinct, while also alleging that people cut the wires to security cameras in the area.

Eyewitness video from the scene purports to show an officer being struck in the back of the head with a baseball bat, cracking his helmet.

"In total, officers arrested 13 individuals for charges ranging from property destruction, resisting arrest and failure to disperse as well as assault on an officer," the police statement said, confirming that multiple officers were injured in the unrest.
Suspect in Louisville cop shooting facing assault charges as officers ID'd, 127 arrested
The suspect accused of shooting two Louisville police officers during Breonna Taylor demonstrations Wednesday night faces assault and wanton endangerment charges, authorities revealed Thursday, as they announced one officer was released from the hospital, and the second is out of surgery and expected to recover.

Larynzo Johnson, 26, was charged with two counts of assault in the first degree and 14 counts of wanton endangerment in connection with the shooting of police officers, Louisville Metro Interim Police Chief Robert Schroeder said at a press conference Thursday. The investigation is ongoing. He expected to be arraigned Friday.

LMPD Major Aubrey Gregory, who is White, was treated and released from University Hospital with a leg wound after being shot beneath his hip. Officer Robinson Desroches, who is Black, was struck in the abdomen is in stable condition after undergoing significant surgery and is expected to recover. LMPD also released two photos of the officers wounded.

Schroeder said police made 127 "protest-related" arrests across the city including in the Highland and downtown overnight amid the demonstrations following the grand jury decision to charge only one officer in connection to the police operation that killed Taylor, but not her death. There were also at least 16 instances of looting across the city.

Johnson "intentionally used a handgun to fire multiple bullets at officers" addressing the crowd, the complaint said. Two officers were struck by bullets causing serious physical injury. Police said witnesses spotted Johnson firing a handgun at officers and running from the scene. The complaint said he was also in possession of a handgun at the time of his arrest and law enforcement recovered video of the shooting showing the suspect fire at officers.

And then there's this doozie: Anarchists unpack U-Haul truck filled with riot gear in Louisville after Breonna Taylor verdict:
In the moments following the announcement today in Louisville that only one of the officers involved in the shooting death of Breonna Taylor in March would face criminal charges, rioters and demonstrators began to take up their positions.

Antifa and BLM protestors could be seen unloading shields, riot gear and signs from the back of a U-Haul. Many were dressed all in black bloc as they clamored around to get the gear.

"Shields, we got shields!" A voice yelled as people ran to the truck.

Protestors with shields blocked Louisville police cars in the streets, standing in front of the cars and refusing to move.

Democrat lawmakers have claimed both that Antifa doesn't exist and that there are no highly organized efforts to facilitate street violence in America. In this clip, captured by Daily Caller's Shelby Talcott, the high level of organization of this supposedly non-existent group is clearly visible.

The shields taken from the U-Haul were then used on the front lines of a protest march. This confirms that the street actions taking place in America are not as the media has portrayed, spontaneous acts of protest but in fact, well-funded and organized actions.

Riots were expected in Louisville today, as the National Guard was called in, police were put in readiness for a state of emergency, and Mayor Greg Fischer implemented a curfew. None of that put a stop to the beginning of the street protests in the city.

As demonstrations surged in Louisville, a man defending his business was surrounded as agitators screamed and tried to smash his windows.

Massive fire breaks out in Huawei 5G research facility in China

A research and development lab of the Chinese tech giant Huawei Technologies in the southern city of Dongguan caught fire, producing large clouds of thick grey smoke. Locals caught the incident on camera.

The videos show plumes of smoke coming from the building's top floors, and largely obscuring the sky above the facility. According to the local fire department, the flammable sound-absorbing cotton which the facility was using may be the main source of the blaze.

The fire was put out by the Dongguan city fire rescue department, city authorities say, and no casualties have been reported.

SOTT Focus: Coming Soon to Your City: Victoria's Totalitarian Response to Covid is Setting a Precedent for Every Wannabe-Dictator

Australia Covid totalitarianism

Melbourne residents are prisoners in their city, risking indefinite detention for 'pre-crime' and even having their kids taken based on Covid statistics that are often inaccurate. How long before this spreads elsewhere?

Americans would be wise to pay attention to what's going on Down Under. Victorian Premier Dan Andrews has gone on a police-state shopping spree to rival the Patriot Act, recently introducing a bill that gives the state government the power to preemptively detain "high-risk" persons, indefinitely, in quarantine facilities based on mere suspicion they might not comply with self-isolation orders.

This is being justified using Covid-19 stats that even the fear-porn-loving media establishment has acknowledged are probably very much inflated, based on a test whose creator was reportedly horrified by the thought of using it to diagnose viral infection. Yet the same media establishment has embraced Andrews' totalitarian lockdown as a model the US should adopt.

Comment: Those who are placidly waiting for everything to 'go back to normal' may be surprised at the length of their prison sentences - the power elites have no plans to cede the control measures they are now enjoying without a MASSIVE pushback:

Church sues DC mayor for banning outdoor worship services while she attends and supports massive outdoor protests

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser protest

In March, when the coronavirus pandemic began disrupting everyday life, Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser — like many other state and local officials — began locking down businesses, schools, churches, and social events.

Included in Bowser's lockdown executive order was a ban on gatherings of 10 or more people.

As the city progressed through the pandemic and cases flattened, the city eventually expanded the allowed sizes of gatherings to 50 and upped the limit to 100 people for worship services — whether indoor or outdoor.

But apparently the mayor had no problem with massive outdoor protests and rallies with thousands of people.

Now one large Baptist church in D.C. is taking the mayor to court for her worship restrictions.

Capitol Hill Baptist Church launched a suit against the mayor and the district in federal court on Tuesday for "violating its rights under the First and Fifth Amendments," the lawsuit said.

The suit notes that while D.C.'s government has banned services with more than 100 people — even if held outdoors — city officials have facilitated and tolerated massive social justice protests, rallies, and events, the Washington Post noted.

Comment: Kudos to this church for having the courage to confront the Mayor's hypocrisy when many religious leaders have remained silent and turned their backs on their parishioners.
