The number of migrants arriving at the southern border has dropped by over 60% since President Donald Trump took office last week, new data obtained by Fox News Digital shows.

There were 7,287 migrant encounters at the southern border in the first seven days (Jan 20-26) after Trump's inauguration by both Border Patrol between ports of entry and by the Office of Field Operations (OFO) at ports of entry, with a daily average of 1,041 encounters a day.

That compares to 20,086 encounters in the seven days in the final days of the Biden administration (Jan 13-19) prior to Trump's inauguration, averaging 2,869 encounters a day.

On 4 January, Israeli reservist Yuval Vagdani and his friends had to abruptly end their "dream vacation" in Brazil and escape to neighboring Argentina under cover of darkness. The local Israeli embassy had been tipped off that the federal court in Brasilia was preparing an arrest warrant against Vagdani for war crimes committed during his tour of duty with the Givati Brigade in the north of Gaza.

Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reportedly played a critical role in helping Vagdani escape prosecution, violating Brazilian sovereignty by arranging for him to be smuggled out of Morro de Sao Paulo in the state of Bahia, into Argentina, and from there to Miami before eventually landing back in Israel.

The UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls, Reem Salama, confirmed that the Israeli occupation army has used the killing of women and the targeting of reproductive health as tools for genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Salama said in a press statement on Sunday that "Israel's attacks on Palestinian women are part of a systematic genocide strategy." She added, "When looking at Israel's actions overall, it is clear that targeting the reproductive capacity of Palestinians in particular serves this purpose."

She emphasized that "the killing of Palestinians simply for being women is considered a war crime and a crime against humanity," noting that the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide also prohibits acts of genocide aimed at preventing reproduction within a group.

For months before and after Donald Trump's election win there was an army of naysayers crawling the internet claiming that he would "never follow through" on his promises and that deportations "were not going to happen". Most of these people were leftists trying to sow the seeds of doubt. At least some claimed to be conservatives and were perhaps disenchanted with the inaction of Donald Trump's first term in office. I know I was not expecting much back then.

In 2017 Trump's cabinet confirmations took a decidedly swampy turn and his administration was overrun with Neo-Cons and banking elites. I criticized this outcome harshly at the time. However, I was willing to acknowledge a reasonable explanation - That Trump was being misled by advisers with ulterior motives. After all, every president has around 4000 positions to fill in their administration and most of them will defer that duty to their advisers.

Trump would go on to admit in multiple interviews that he had trusted his inner circle too much and made mistakes in choosing his cabinet. They had sabotaged his efforts.

Brownstone Institute has been tracking a little-known federal agency for years. It is part of the Department of Homeland Security created after 9-11. It is called the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency or CISA. It was created in 2018 out of a 2017 executive order that seemed to make sense. It was a mandate to secure American digital infrastructure against foreign attack and infiltration.

And yet during the Covid year, it assumed three huge jobs. It was the agency responsible for dividing the workforce between essential and nonessential. It led the way on censorship efforts. And it handled election security for 2020 and 2022, which, if you understand the implications of that, should make you spit out your coffee upon learning.

More than any other agency, it became the operationally relevant government during this period. It was the agency that worked through third parties and packet-switching networking to take down your Facebook group. It worked through all kinds of intermediaries to keep a lid on Twitter. It managed LinkedIn, Instagram, and most of the other mainstream platforms in a way that made you feel like your opinions were too crazy to see the light of day.

Sweden's worst mass shooting left at least 11 people dead, including the gunman, at an adult education center west of Stockholm as officials warned the death toll could rise.

The gunman's motive, as well as the number of wounded, had not been determined by early Wednesday as Sweden - where gun violence at schools is very rare - reeled from an attack with such bloodshed that police early on said it was difficult to count the number of dead among the carnage.

The school, called Campus Risbergska, offers primary and secondary educational classes for adults age 20 and older, Swedish-language classes for immigrants, vocational training and programs for people with intellectual disabilities. It is on the outskirts of Orebro, which is about 200 kilometers (125 miles) west of Stockholm.

Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer called the shooting "an event that shakes our entire society to its core."

Words and their meaning matter. They help structure human consciousness and thought and are the basic units used to convey abstract concepts between human beings. One common PsyWar tactic is to distort and then weaponize politicized definitions of words intentionally. We have all seen this tactic deployed throughout the COVIDcrisis in a wide variety of ways. The redefinition of "vaccine" is one example. Another is the redefinition of the pejorative term "Anti-Vaxxer" to include any who disagree with policies involving mandated vaccine acceptance.

Current headlines support the hypothesis that center-right populist movements are rapidly disrupting current political alliances and consensus throughout the "Western" nation-states. But the language being used to resist these movements has been actively and intentionally distorted to advance the political interests of the current status quo. Of course the election of Republican Party candidate Donald Trump in the USA is particularly notable, but this was foreshadowed by the rise of the Brothers of Italy party and the election of Georgia Meloni, the election of Argentine President Javier Milei (an Austrian school Economist), the popularity of Marine le Pen and the French National Rally group, the Alternative for Germany (AfD), Nigel Farage and the Reform party in the UK, Geert Wilders' Dutch Party for Freedom, and Viktor Orbán's Hungarian leadership (and impending EU Presidency). The list goes on and on, and the global momentum is undeniable.

Sean "Diddy" Combs once dangled a victim over an apartment balcony, prosecutors alleged in a new indictment that added two more victims and an earlier start date to the disgraced star's alleged reign of sexual terror.

Combs, 55, sexually abused his victims for at least two decades from 2004 to 2024, federal prosecutors said in a superseding indictment filed Thursday. Previously, the earliest allegations dated to 2008.

The new indictment adds new accusations against the music mogul and expands the timeline of the alleged abuse — but does not include any new charges.

The two new anonymous victims were allegedly subjected to pre-arranged sexual encounters that often lasted multiple days, were sometimes recorded and regularly involved sex workers.

Combs "abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires," the indictment read, accusing him of using such tactics to force three unnamed women "to engage in commercial sex acts."

National Audit Office says government attempts to tackle misogynistic violence are hampered by poor coordination.

An "epidemic of violence against women and girls" in the UK is getting worse despite years of government promises and strategies, a highly critical report from Whitehall's spending watchdog has said.

The National Audit Office report comes four years after a major government response to violence against women and girls (VAWG) was launched after the murders of Sabina Nessa and Sarah Everard.

The watchdog found "disjointed" efforts meant VAWG was a "significant and growing problem" affecting one in 12 women in England and Wales and causing physical, mental, social and financial harm to survivors.

A review of the previous government's 2021 strategy to tackle VAWG found it had not helped victims or delivered long-term societal change. The review said the departments tasked with making progress lacked a clear picture of how money was being spent and what policies actually worked.
