Trump sued CBS News over the interview in Oct., alleging that it was deceptively doctored to help Harris' chances in the election

CBS News announced it would comply with the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) demand that it turn over the transcript of a 60 Minutes interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris that is the subject of President Trump's lawsuit against the company.

The FCC, led by Trump appointee Brendan Carr, sent a letter of inquiry to the news company on Wednesday, requesting the "full, unedited transcript and camera feeds."

"We are working to comply with that inquiry as we are legally compelled to do," a CBS News spokesman said in a statement on Friday.

The new ICJ president Julia Sebutinde plagiarized material in the name of Christian Zionism

Julia Sebutinde is a dedicated Christian Zionist who stood alone in rejecting South Africa's genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice. Now the court's president, the Ugandan judge appears to have plagiarized sections of her dissenting opinion justifying Israel's occupation of Palestinian Territories.

With new countries joining South Africa's case accusing Israel of committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, and a ceasefire potentially enabling war crimes investigators to gather fresh evidence of Israeli atrocities, a leadership shakeup at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) threatens to undermine the campaign for legal accountability.

The ICJ's President Nawaf Salam resigned on January 14, 2025 to become Prime Minister of Lebanon, and was succeeded by Justice Julia Sebutinde of Uganda. Many observers were stunned when Sebutinde voted "no" on all resolutions introduced by South Africa in January 2024, placing herself in opposition to all ICJ judges, including her Israeli colleague, Aharon Barak.

Comment: End Times lunacy seems to have worked it's way into every corner of the world.

EU country to allow police to wiretap children

Sweden is facing a surge in gang crime with juveniles being hired to carry out vandalism, bombings and murder.

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson announced on Thursday, Sweden is set to fast-track legislation enabling police to use electronic surveillance on children under 15 following a spate of serious crimes committed by teens recruited by criminal gangs. The country has grappled with a surge in gang-related shootings and bombings in recent years.

In 2023, Sweden had one of the highest levels of deadly gun violence per capita in Europe, with internationally connected gangs increasingly recruiting children. Kristersson said the government would push the legislation to enter into force "in the fall of 2025," allowing police to access mobile phones and electronically wiretap children under the age of 15. "It is quite obvious that we don't have control over the wave of violence."

Sweden has seen an unprecedented series of bombings, primarily in the Stockholm region, with more than 30 incidents this month alone.

Comment: Despicable. Recruiting kids for murder and destruction...then using them to suss out the source. No DANGER there!

Unconquerable: Stunning images show tens of thousands of Palestinians returning to destroyed Gaza homes on foot

For the first time after nearly a year-and-a-half, tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians are returning to their homes in the northern Gaza Strip en masse.

Photos and overhead drone footage reveal surprisingly large throngs of Gazan families returning to what are likely destroyed homes and communities on foot, sometimes carrying all possessions on their backs.

Al Jazeera is capturing many of these scenes, and spoke with some of the returning displaced. "We want to go see our family. I want to see my mother and father. We haven't seen them for 15 months. It's a long time," Ahmad Adas, a young displaced Palestinian, told the outlet.

And 19-year old Mohammed Adas described, "I haven't seen my family for a year and a half. I've been waiting for three days to go to my parents. We are tired. I want to go to Gaza City, we're not coming back here."

Worlds largest concentrated solar boondoggle is going out of business after just 11 years

It was supposed to last 50 years...

The PR writers want us to believe the legendary Ivanpah has been beaten out by better cheap solar, and that this is somehow a "success". But the truth is, it's been killed by the same subsidies and crooked market that birthed it.

The Big Government Blob distorted the free market, and created a boom in solar power. But the business case was not that good, there was no miracle in the storage of electricity, nobody wanted fried birds, and the subsidies kept forcing more solar power generation in at the same useless time of day.

Since there were too many generators at lunchtime and not enough customers, the last surviving part of the free market has solved the imbalance.

An official at Meta's popular WhatsApp chat service has said Israeli spyware company Paragon Solutions targeted 90 of its users, including journalists and members of civil society.

The official told the Reuters news agency on Friday that WhatsApp had sent Paragon a cease-and-desist letter following the hack.

The official declined to say who, specifically, was targeted but confirmed that WhatsApp is referring targets to the Canadian internet watchdog group Citizen Lab.

He declined to say how WhatsApp ascertained that Paragon was responsible for the breach. He said law enforcement and industry partners had been informed, but would not go into detail.

Comment: Lots of questions remain which will likely remain unanswered.

Is your meat from China? Farmer reveals why Brit meat cutters buy cheap produce from thousands of miles away

A British farmer has revealed why butchers are flogging meat from China after a mum was furious to find her farm-shop cuts were sourced from thousands of miles away.

Ben Aveling, who runs a farm shop in Northamptonshire, raises all his meat with wife Vicky on the family farm.

Mr Aveling does all his own butchery and only buys in local produce if he is ever short on a product.

But he explained that is not across the board as some struggling business owners may rely on bringing meat from abroad, such as chicken breasts, as a way to 'get people through the door' as it can be cheaper.

'It's a difficult one, really, because you think when you go to a certain butcher that you're buying local produce but most of the time, you don't really know', he told MailOnline.

All meat imports from China must have an official health certificate which confirms that the meat is safe for human consumption and meets UK standards.

Mr Aveling said: 'A butcher will try their best but like I said, high street butchers are struggling, aren't they?

'And they're probably looking for lower price points and relying on the assumptions of others.

Comment: Trying to shift the blame to the butcher, the consumer, or the importer misses the real culprit for why there's food price hikes. Governments' globalist, anti-human policies.

An air ambulance carrying six people crashed near a mall in northeast Philadelphia on Friday evening, the company that operates the aircraft said.

Jet Rescue Air Ambulance said it could not confirm any survivors among those on board its plane, which included four crew members, a pediatric patient and the patient's escort, according to a statement.

"Our immediate concern is for the patient's family, our personnel, their families and other victims that may have been hurt on the ground," the company said. A spokesperson said it's unlikely anyone on board survived.

Mayor Cherelle Parker said at an evening news conference that the total number of fatalities was not yet known. She said "several dwellings and vehicles were impacted."

Six people with injuries attributed to the crash were taken to Temple University Hospital — Jeanes Campus, near Northeast Philadelphia, where three were in fair condition and three others were treated and released, a spokesperson for the institution said.

It wasn't clear where the patients were when the aircraft struck the ground.

Comment: How tragic. What makes it more unfortunate is that it's not the only airline incident recently:
