Israeli-American Trump mega-donor Miriam Adleson behind free speech crackdowns when criticizing Israel

The Trump administration's effort to deport a Columbia University graduate student, Mahmoud Khalil, in retaliation for Khalil's role in campus protests opposing Israel's war in Gaza, showed the lengths the White House is prepared to go to police speech about Israel.

The administration's unprecedented decision to seek the deportation of a U.S. permanent resident without bringing any criminal charges has an overlooked ally, however: the largest financier of Trump's three presidential campaigns, Israeli-American billionaire Miriam Adelson.

Adelson's support for the administration's campaign to stifle criticism of Israel on college campuses isn't a new focus but her alignment with the levers of state powers to implement her vision are unprecedented. In fact, tax documents reveal that she is directly overseeing a social media campaign targeting Khalil and Columbia University.

Comment: Khalil had been subject to a harrassment campaign by self appointed zionist policeman Shai Davidai

Judge Rachel Krause ruled that Willis' office was 'hostile' and 'intentionally' violated Georgia's open records laws

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been ordered to pay more than $54,000 for violating the state's open records laws in relation to the prosecution of President Donald Trump.

The county's Superior Court Judge Rachel Krause formalized her ruling Friday and ordered Willis to pay $54,264 in attorneys' fees and litigation costs after "intentionally" failing to provide records requested by Ashleigh Merchant, the attorney who filed the motion to disqualify Willis from prosecuting Trump on charges of allegedly interfering with the 2020 presidential election.

Krause stated that Willis' office failed to provide documents related to the employment of Nathan Wade, the former special assistant district attorney forced to resign from the Trump case due to his romantic relationship with Willis.

Hunter Biden fled last week to South Africa for a luxury vacation— with round-the-clock Secret Service protection — avoiding a grueling deposition scheduled for this week in a California lawsuit.

California District Court Judge Herman Vera granted Hunter's motion to dismiss the case Thursday after the former first son claimed he was too broke to continue suing former Trump staffer Garrett Ziegler and his nonprofit Marco Polo.

Photographs show Hunter Biden was already in Cape Town the day the case was dismissed.

Romania bars yet another populist from presidential elections

Diana Sosoaca

Not long after sparking outrage inside and outside the country by barring right-wing frontrunner Calin Georgescu from running in May's presidential election, Romania has barred another populist from the contest, attributing the decision to the candidate's supposedly unacceptable policy stances and "making declarations "contrary to democratic values."

Romania's electoral commission on Saturday announced that Diana Sosoaca would be banned from competing for the country's presidency. That news is troubling enough on its face, but the Central Election Bureau's rationale makes the development all the more chilling: Sosoaca is unfit for office because she has publicly voiced opposition to Romania's memberships in the European Union and NATO.

The court said Sosoaca's stances are disqualifying because EU and NATO memberships are explicitly acknowledged in Romania's constitution. However, constitutions can be changed via legal processes, and any rational champion of democratic principles should think political candidates should be free to advocate for changes.

A writer for Alex Jones' right-wing conspiracy website Infowars was killed near his Austin home late Sunday, Jones announced on a Monday broadcast.

Jones said writer Jamie White, 36, was "brutally murdered" outside of a southeast Austin apartment complex Sunday night. White was shot and killed in the parking lot of the apartment complex where he lived in the 2300 block of Douglas Street, the Austin Police Department confirmed Tuesday.

Jones, during a Monday broadcast said:
"We sent some people over this morning when he didn't answer the phone, because he was always here early, loves to work, loves to fight tyranny, loves to promote freedom. When they got to the apartment complex, there was yellow tape everywhere and blood all over the parking lot."
Detectives believe the gunmen were burglarizing White's car when he interrupted them. The suspects fled the scene and no arrests had been made in connection with the shooting as of Tuesday morning.

Jones said an officer at the apartment complex confirmed to fellow Infowars writers that White died at the hospital just after midnight Monday.

Plastic pollution leaves seabirds with brain damage similar to Alzheimer's, study shows

Ingesting plastic is leaving seabird chicks with brain damage "akin to Alzheimer's disease", according to a new study - adding to growing evidence of the devastating impact of plastic pollution on marine wildlife.

Analysis of young sable shearwaters, a migratory bird that travels between Australia's Lord Howe Island and Japan, has found that plastic waste is causing damage to seabird chicks not apparent to the naked eye, including decay of the stomach lining, cell rupture and neurodegeneration.

Dozens of the chicks - which spend 90 days in burrows before making their first journey - were examined by researchers from the University of Tasmania. Many had mistakenly been fed plastic waste by their parents and built up high levels of plastic in their stomachs.

'May God bless El Salvador, and may God bless the United States,' El Salvador President Nayib Bukele said

The president of El Salvador announced his country has accepted hundreds of Venezuelan gang members who were illegally living in the United States, as a U.S. judge moved to block deportations of illegal immigrants under a wartime law invoked by President Donald Trump.

"Today, the first 238 members of the Venezuelan criminal organization, Tren de Aragua, arrived in our country. They were immediately transferred to CECOT, the Terrorism Confinement Center, for a period of one year (renewable)," El Salvador President Nayib Bukele posted to X on Sunday morning, accompanied by video footage of planes on a tarmac.

"On this occasion, the U.S. has also sent us 23 MS-13 members wanted by Salvadoran justice, including two ringleaders. One of them is a member of the criminal organization's highest structure," he added.

Germany's first offshore wind farm to be dismantled after just 15 Years of operation

The Alpha Ventus offshore wind farm near German North Sea island of Borkum is set to be dismantled after being in operation for only 15 years.

It has become too unprofitable to operate without massive subsidies.

Alpha Ventus is noted as being Germany's first offshore wind farm. Construction works commenced in August 2007 and the first turbine was installed in July 2009. The pioneering wind farm was officially commissioned on April 27, 2010.

According to Blackout News, a decisive factor for dismantling the pioneer project is the expiration of generous subsidies made possible through Germany's EEG renewable energies feed-in act. The subsidy meant that the Alpha Ventus wind farm got 15.4 cents per kilowatt hour after being put in operation. Now that the subsidy has run out, the wind farm operators receive only the basic tariff of 3.9 cents per kilowatt hour, thus making the farm unprofitable.

Another factor: the older Alpha Venus wind farm is being eclipsed by more modern, more efficient turbines.
