Three South Texas border residents penned an open letter to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris expressing their frustrations and fears about living on the front lines of the current border crisis. The letter comes in the wake of Vice President Harris's visit to the border — 850 miles from the epicenter of the border crisis. Their letter began:

"As Texans who live and work along the Southern Border, we are asking America to pay attention to the crisis raging at our doorstep. We're asking America to listen when we tell you that it is a crisis. It is chaos."

The letter, written by Richard Ruiz, CEO & President of RMR Inc., Edinburg, Texas; Mayra Guiterrez, a legal immigrant who became a U.S. citizen in 2020, McAllen, Texas; and Ronaldo Rodriguez, border resident, Hidalgo, Texas, describes the frustrations, fears, and other concerns experienced by the people who live in the Rio Grande Valley where Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 270,000 migrants so far this fiscal year — a 406 percent increase over the previous year.

"We are on the front lines of this disaster. And it started just weeks after Biden and Harris took office. Crime is surging as drug cartels and human smugglers capitalize on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's open-borders agenda. Migrant children are being abandoned in the desert and dropped over walls. Human beings are drowning in the Rio Grande because Biden and Harris told them they could come."

"The deadly drug fentanyl is flooding our communities — Texas officials have already seized enough smuggled fentanyl to kill 21.5 million people. Those attempting to cross the border include members of the vicious gang MS-13 and people on the FBI's terrorist watch list."

"Our neighbors are scared to leave their homes. How is this acceptable in America?"

The writers placed the blame on the current border crisis on the actions of President Biden and the lack of action by Vice President Harris.

Lebanese troops deployed in the northern city of Tripoli early Sunday taking positions around major state institutions after a night of protests and riots against worsening living conditions left several protesters and 10 soldiers injured.

Sporadic protests were reported throughout Lebanon on Saturday as the country's 20-month economic crisis worsened. The World Bank described the crisis as one of the worst the world has witnessed in 150 years. It is coupled with a political deadlock that has left Lebanon without a government since August.

The largest protests were in the southern port city of Sidon and in Tripoli, Lebanon's second largest city and most impoverished. Sporadic protests and road closures took place in the capital Beirut.

Yet another hit piece has been published blasting "anti-vaccine" influencers for sharing viewpoints that go against the status quo. This time, the article was published by The Center for Public Integrity, which claims to use investigative reporting to reveal the "causes and effects of inequality."¹

The title of the article — "Spreading Vaccine Fears. And Cashing In." — and its content, however, reveal that it's far from actual journalism and nothing more than biased propaganda.²

In the interest of full disclosure, I'm publishing my full response to reporter Liz Essley Whyte below. Whyte contacted Mercola.com in April 2021, stating she was "writing an article about anti-vaccine activists for whom activism is also a way to make money" and asking if I'd be willing to do an interview with her. My team asked for a list of questions and, after repeated follow-ups, those were provided about one month later.

Among them, "What is your response to critics who say your frequent criticism of mainstream medicine, including vaccines, serve to build a customer base and boost your profits?" and "How much does Mercola.com (and/or any other Mercola-branded companies) do in sales and/or profits (in dollar figures) per year? How has that grown over the years? How did the pandemic affect those figures?"

You can see that they're trying to build a case that websites such as mine — which is solely interested in sharing the truth — are only out to make profits or are exploiting the fear generated by mainstream media to sell supplements. But as I stated previously, the real profiteers in this pandemic are not people selling supplements online but billionaires who are only getting richer.

Federal authorities have seized significantly more fentanyl along the U.S.-Mexican border in Arizona and California since October than they did in the entire 2020 fiscal year.

Since October, authorities have seized 7.000 pounds of the drug, compared to just 4,500 pounds in the entire last fiscal year, according to data from Customs and Boarder Protection. The reasoning, according to authorities, is simply supply and demand.

Shane Watson, public information officer and prevention specialist at notMYkid.org, attributed the increase in fentanyl findings to supply and demand.

"We already had an opioid crisis in the United States and to meet that increased demand, not only from the existing opioid crisis, but from the spike that we've seen in use since the pandemic started, cartels south of the border are realizing that there's money to be made in this," Shane Watson, public information officer and prevention specialist at notMYkid.org, told The Center Square.

He said cartels can take bulk fentanyl from China or Europe and use a pill press to make pills which resemble a variety of other drugs.

The world's richest medical research foundation, the Wellcome Trust, has teamed up with a pair of former DARPA directors who built Silicon Valley's skunkworks to usher in an age of nightmarish surveillance, including for babies as young as three months old. Their agenda can only advance if we allow it.
A UK nonprofit with ties to global corruption throughout the COVID-19 crisis as well as historical and current ties to the UK eugenics movement launched a global health-focused DARPA equivalent last year. The move went largely unnoticed by both mainstream and independent media.

The Wellcome Trust, which has arguably been second only to Bill Gates in its ability to influence events during the COVID-19 crisis and vaccination campaign, launched its own global equivalent of the Pentagon's secretive research agency last year, officially to combat the "most pressing health challenges of our time." Though first conceived of in 2018, this particular Wellcome Trust initiative was spun off from the Trust last May with $300 million in initial funding. It quickly attracted two former DARPA executives, who had previously served in the upper echelons of Silicon Valley, to manage and plan its portfolio of projects.

This global health DARPA, known as Wellcome Leap, seeks to achieve "breakthrough scientific and technological solutions" by or before 2030, with a focus on "complex global health challenges." The Wellcome Trust is open about how Wellcome Leap will apply the approaches of Silicon Valley and venture capital firms to the health and life science sector. Unsurprisingly, their three current programs are poised to develop incredibly invasive tech-focused, and in some cases overtly transhumanist, medical technologies, including a program exclusively focused on using artificial intelligence (AI), mobile sensors, and wearable brain-mapping tech for children three years old and younger.

The Ben Roberts-Smith defamation case resumed in Sydney this week, and it continues to cast a critical light on the conduct of Australian troops during their deployment in Afghanistan.

Roberts-Smith's lengthy cross-examination by Nicholas Owens, counsel for the three newspapers that the war hero is suing, was very revealing.

The newspapers' case is that Roberts-Smith committed six gruesome murders while serving with Australian SAS forces in Afghanistan, and then engaged in a range of other improper conduct designed to cover up these murders.

At least 3 people died and 6 were injured from a knife attack in Southern German Friday afternoon local time. Police said the suspect was shot and then arrested, according to a local media outlet.

Video shared on Twitter shows a man in the city of Würzburg wielding a long knife. The suspect was identified by the police as a 24-year-old Somali immigrant, according to Bild, a German media outlet. Another video then showed the suspect being confronted by a crowd of people.

German police first tweeted that a "major police operation" is taking place in Würzburg and that parts of town are closed urging people to avoid the area.

Another huge wave of people took to the streets of London today, protesting the Covid restrictions, proposed vaccine passports, injections for children and other dystopian aspects of our authoritarian new normal.

Similar protests have been happening regularly since the imposition of Lockdown in March last year, including last month when well over 100,000 people (some estimates said 1million+) turned up.

The march was practically ignored by the mainstream, with the BBC reporting a turnout of "hundreds" despite video evidence showing at least 1000x that number.
