Black Lives Matter PAC siphoned away almost all of its cash reserves during the first three months of 2022, with the largest chunk of funds going to a firm owned by a BLM board member.

BLM PAC ended March with just $19,750 in the bank after raising $80,000 and spending $116,000 during the first quarter, according to a filing submitted to the Federal Election Commission on Friday. The group has burned through nearly 94% of its available cash reserves since the start of 2021, when it controlled a $305,000 war chest.

Bowers Consulting Firm, a company run by BLM board member Shalomyah Bowers, was the highest-paid BLM PAC vendor during the first quarter of 2022, having received $45,000 from the PAC for "strategic consulting services."

Elias Law Group, the law firm run by Democratic lawyer Marc Elias, received $8,000 for legal services rendered to BLM PAC during the period, and the Perkins Coie law firm received $8,350 for compliance services.

Paul Kamenar, counsel to watchdog group the National Legal and Policy Center, said:
"BLM PAC's donors would be surprised to know their contributions are being paid to BLM insiders and consultants rather than electing their favorite candidates for the mid-term elections."

Arm Ukraine to prevent global famine - German minister

Increasing the weapon supply can prevent world hunger, the official argued...

Supplying Ukraine with "more effective" weaponry amid the ongoing conflict with Russia is essential to avoid an allegedly looming "global famine," German Agriculture Minister Cem Ozdemir has said. The official made the remarks in an interview published Sunday by the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper.

Ozdemir is a member of the strongly pro-US/NATO Alliance 90/The Greens party. He claims:
"Russia's war against Ukraine is increasingly turning out to be an attack on the international community."
That's why it's so important that the West support Ukraine with more, more effective weapons - and Germany shouldn't be exempt from that.

Ozdemir also alleged that the Russian military has been deliberately targeting Ukrainian agriculture in the conflict that broke out in late February. He cited "alarming news" coming from the country yet did not elaborate on the source or exact nature of the allegations. He stated:
"We are receiving alarming news from Ukraine, where Russian troops are apparently also deliberately destroying agricultural infrastructure and supply chains."

Comment: Separating the wheat from the chaff: The West worked long and hard to achieve its desired war. Any consequences are of their own making.

An abandoned ammunition depot of the Ukrainian neo-Nazi battalion Azov found in the basement of the Yalta health complex located in the village of Urzuf in the Donetsk People's Republic, a Sputnik correspondent reported on Saturday.

The complex is located on the coast of the Sea of Azov in about 40 kilometres (24.8 miles) west of Mariupol. The correspondent said:
"The ammunition depot is located [in the basement] under the Yalta health complex. There are a huge number of boxes of ammunition. Here you need to watch your step. The territory is large, and unfortunately, it is impossible to check everything for 'surprises'."
The video footage (not allowed) made by the correspondent shows boxes with 30mm autocannon shells, automatic cartridges, a mortar mine and a can of small flechette shells for improvised explosive devices.

© Brian Lawless/PAYousef Palani is led into Sligo District Court after being charged in relation to the Sligo murders.
A 22-year-old man has appeared at a special sitting of Sligo District Court charged with murdering two men in the town earlier this week.

Yousef Palani of Markievicz Heights Sligo is also charged with assault causing serious harm to another man in Sligo on April 9th last.

The accused was charged with the murder of Aidan Moffitt at Carton Heights in Sligo on April 10th last.

Comment: Interestingly the Irish Times makes no mention that the victims were 'severely mutilated', there are some unsubstantiated claims on Twitter that the victims were beheaded, although no MSM sources have confirmed this. In another article the Irish Times does mention that the victims were gay and that the Gardaí believes they met 'someone' on a dating app which could've led to their murders. "Officers are also investigating if there was a homophobic element to the crimes".

Daily Mail reports:
A police source told MailOnline the murder suspect is an Iranian Kurdish refugee who arrived in Sligo in September 2006 when he was six-years-old with his mother, father and brother.

The family are believed to be one of nine Iranian Kurdish families who moved to Ireland under a government scheme after living in refugee camps in Iran, Iraq and Jordan for 25 years.

Basic solutions to our economic problems that establishment elites won't allow

gun to world
I think one of the great misconceptions about economic crisis is that solutions are always dependent on centralized government action. In truth, most financial disasters are actually caused by too much government action and involvement. Central banks like the Federal Reserve are also primary culprits; as I outlined in last week's article their machinations, which are independent of government oversight, fall into the category of deliberate sabotage. The Fed bankrolls corruption through fiat money creation while government officials and corporations utilize that money to wreak havoc on our living standards.

Ending the Fed would solve the fiat money problem, but there's still a host of agenda driven politicians and bureaucrats to deal with before our nation can right the ship.

One clear way to fix our system would be to first force government to interfere less. As a point of reference, consider the common media narratives surrounding the covid pandemic. Along with the White House the media has been the premier driver of irrational fear over the spread of covid, which ended up being a minor threat compared to the hype as the average Infection Fatality Rate was no more that 0.27%. Yet, in response to a virus that was a mortal danger to less than one-thrid of 1% of the population, bureaucrats declared a national emergency requiring insane and unconstitutional lockdowns.

Officers are told to use 'gender-neutral' forms of address instead in new guidance

scotland police yard
Training for LGBT+ support officers advises them to ‘avoid making assumptions about a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity’ and to use terms such as ‘you’, ‘everyone’ and ‘all’.
Police are being told not to call people 'sir' or 'ma'am', but to use 'gender-neutral' forms of address.

Training for LGBT+ support officers advises them to 'avoid making assumptions about a person's sexual orientation or gender identity' and to use terms such as 'you', 'everyone' and 'all'.

It's a far cry from the image of the traditional Bobby on the beat, represented by PC George Dixon, hero of the classic TV series Dixon Of Dock Green.

Comment: It's rather telling that Scotland Yard thinks they'll 'gain trust' by completely bowing to the ridiculous demands of a fringe minority group. In reality, they're just setting themselves up to continue having to meet an escalating list of demands, each more ridiculous than the last. Eventually they'll be 'gaining trust' by not enforcing the law on LGBT+ people at all.

Republicans have Hunter Biden's laptop: A 'treasure trove' of incriminating information

California Republican Darrell Issa told Fox News on Sunday that his party is in possession of Hunter Biden's laptop, and is poring over the "treasure trove" of data within it. Meanwhile, GOP leaders are already laying plans to investigate the contents of the device - which the White House initially wrote off as "Russian disinformation" - if they return to power in November.

"It's gotta be followed all the way back to the big guy," Issa said, referring to an email from the laptop that described a business deal in China where "the big guy," apparently a reference to Joe Biden, would stand to gain 10%.
"We're going to need a special prosecutor, but in the meantime we're investigating it. We have the laptop, and the laptop is a treasure trove of obviousness."
Issa said that the computer contains evidence of direct communication between Joe and Hunter Biden while the former was serving as vice president, evidence that Joe Biden was making "sure his business deals went forward," including in Russia and China, and evidence of Hunter's drug use that could have made the VP's son vulnerable to blackmail by foreign intelligence agencies. Joe Biden has repeatedly denied communicating with his son about his overseas business ventures.

German media suggests showering less

shower
© Petri Oeschger/Getty ImagesShower not!
"Skip a shower, improve your skin microbiome," - that is the takeaway of the latest article published by Germany's Bild newspaper on Saturday. The piece promoting the supposed health benefits of less showering comes at a time when the possibility of a total embargo on all Russian energy imports is being discussed in the country.

Titled 'It's enough to wash THESE four body parts - Why the skin cleans itself if you let it,' the article starts off by citing the recent advice by Germany's economy minister, Robert Habeck, who called on his fellow countrymen and women to cut back on their heating, sauna visits, and showers to help the country reduce its dependence on Russian energy. These hygiene-related sacrifices can not only make life harder for the Kremlin, but also improve people's skin, Bild claims.

Comment: Not all common sense has gone down the drain:
Inhabitants of the former East Germany are less willing to accept the idea of making sacrifices for the war in Ukraine than their countrymen to the west, according to a poll conducted by Eon Foundation published on Saturday. While an overwhelming majority of Germans - 71% - said they were concerned the new EU sanctions against Russia would cause lasting damage to the German economy, most believed the economic punishment was necessary.

Nearly two thirds (64%) of west German respondents said they were willing to do without energy from Russia, even if it meant fuel scarcities, the poll, which surveyed 10,000 Germans, revealed. However, less than half (42%) of those in the east were willing to support such a plan.

"Workers are the most worried. The rest are afraid of the economic consequences for their lives and work, but to a lesser extent," pollsters Civey Public Opinion Institute reported.

Similarly, between 55% and 70% of west Germans accepted the idea of turning down the thermostat and driving less as solutions in the event of an energy shortage, while less than half of those in east Germany (excluding Berlin) accepted that idea.

To replace Russian gas, eastern Germans favored using locally-mined coal, while their western counterparts preferred solar and wind energy. While numerous experts have cautioned there is no way for Europe - especially Germany - to wean itself off Russian fuel in a single year, given that 40% of Germany's gas comes from Russia, hope springs eternal in the minds of some politicians.

But despite growing Russophobia that has arisen from the conflict in Ukraine, Germany still heats half of its homes with natural gas, and major industries such as chemicals, mining and pharmaceuticals rely on Russian imports to keep the lights on. The CEO of chemical giant BASF warned that transitioning from Russian natural gas to alternative energy or even another supplier would take at least four years, implying that the rush to ditch Russian gas by the end of 2022 was a pipe dream.

Five of the top German economic research centers warned last week that the country could lose as much as $238 billion (€220 billion) in GDP in two years, more than 6.5% of annual economic output, and suffer the highest inflation in modern history. Meanwhile, German Trade Union Confederation head Reiner Hoffmann has warned an EU-wide embargo on Russian oil and gas will hit the German economy much harder than Russia.

Not only will the ban "not affect events in Ukraine," Hoffman told German broadcaster ARD last week, but it "will lead to a significant decline in the labor market" and trigger "the collapse of all supply chains."
