Russian air force hits militants' positions in Golan Heights near Israel border

Russian fighter jet
The Russian air force hit rebel positions in Southern Syria, near the Golan Heights, for the first time since it began its air campaign against the Takfiri terrorists last month.

The Russian airstrikes targeted positions of the ISIL and al-Nusra Front in the Golan Heights in Quneitra province near the border with Israel.

Russia's airstrikes were the closest to the occupied Palestinian territories since it started its airstrikes in late September.

Earlier today, the Russian air force also struck terrorists' positions in Daraa province for the first time in the past month.

Russia's fighter jets hit the Takfiri terrorists' positions in the strategic hilltops of Tal al-Harra and Tal Antar near Deir al-Adas in the Northern countryside of Daraa late Monday.

Comment: This will probably raise Israel's ire.

Lavrov: US coalition has no understanding who terrorists in Syria are

Lavrov

The US-led coalition lacks a common understanding of who the terrorist threat in Syria is coming from, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov believes. He also said that Russia is trying to establish contacts with the Syrian opposition.

"Last Friday I met with [US Secretary of State] John Kerry, Saudi and Turkish foreign ministers in Vienna ...and I once again saw that the US-led coalition has no common understanding [about] who poses a terrorist threat in Syria," Sergey Lavrov said at a press-conference held after talks with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makey.

Comment: The US knows who the terrorists are, they just play clueless to the rest of the world. There are no moderate rebels, it's all terrorists armed and funded by the US.

"One cannot say that there are 'good' terrorist which are not to be touched," the minister said.

"It is also necessary to make clear who the political opposition in Syria is," Lavrov added referring to the Geneva communique signed in June 2012, which calls for a peace process inclusive of all political groups.

Obama's drone strike campaign in Afghanistan resulted in deaths of innocents 9 out of 10 times

drones
Drone strikes conducted by the United States during a 5-month-long campaign in Afghanistan caused the deaths of unintended targets nearly nine out of ten times, leaked intelligence documents suggest.

The apparent 10 percent success rate with regards to a specific span in America's drone war is among the most damning revelations to surface so far as the result of a series of articles published by The Intercept on Thursday this week which rely on classified and confidential intelligence documents supplied by an unknown source.

"These docs illustrate what a video game, drained of all humanity, these drone assassinations have become," founding editor Glenn Greenwald tweeted on Thursday.

Edward Snowden, the former National Security Agency contractor now in exile, has previously supplied journalists at the online news site with top-secret documents detailing the intelligence community's eavesdropping efforts — the likes of which has sparked international debates concerning privacy and civil liberties implications, among other factor, as well as calls for legislative reform in the U.S. and abroad.

Comment: The drone strike program, and the attacks on civilians, don't seem to be an accident. Obama seems to be consciously targeting innocent civilians:

New evidence emerges showing the US deliberately attacked the Doctors Without Borders hospital in Afghanistan

Kunduz hospital mistake
The United States Commander of International Forces says an air strike on a hospital in the northern city of Kunduz was a mistake.
It is now more than three weeks since the October 3 massacre by US military forces of medical personnel and patients at the Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) medical center in Kunduz, Afghanistan. Aided by the media, the US military and the Obama administration are continuing their efforts to cover up and whitewash a war crime.

On Monday, the Associated Press published a report providing further confirmation that the facility was targeted and bombed by US military personnel with full knowledge that it was a functioning hospital. The attack lasted for an hour, destroying the building and killing 30 people, including at least 13 MSF staff members and 10 patients.

According to the AP, "A day before an American AC-130 gunship attacked the hospital, a senior officer in the Green Beret [Army] unit wrote in a report that US forces had discussed the hospital with the country director of the medical charity group, presumably in Kabul, according to two people who have seen the document."

A report from "a senior Green Beret officer from 3rd Special Forces Group" on October 2 stated, "MSF report that they have personnel in the trauma center," according to the AP, citing two sources who have seen the report.

Judge crushes Hillary's testimony: 'severe legal trouble'

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testifies before House Select Committee on Benghazi
While many political pundits concluded Hillary Clinton's testimony last week before the House Select Committee on Benghazi helped her bid for the White House, at least one commentator believes she put herself in serious legal jeopardy.

In an interview with WND, Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano, a former judge, pointed to her denial of any knowledge of secret arms shipments to Libya arranged by the State Department under her watch.

Hypocrisy: Empire of chaos labels Russia 'bad' guy while wreaking global havoc

The governments of Western countries try to portray Russia as a "bad guy" in an attempt to restore the old image of "the Soviet enemy" in the minds of people, said Eric Denece, a French political scientist and the director of the French intelligence think-tank CF2R.

Russian airstrikes against ISIL targets became a turning point in an attempt to restore order in Syria, the French expert wrote in Atlantico.

Russia's campaign in Syria is based on common sense, the French expert said.

Meanwhile, the governments of Western countries, led by the egotistical US government that can't mind its own business and sticks its nose everywhere in the world, have lost all common sense and their ability to analyze Middle Eastern politics in a realistic manner, Denece said.

Comment: A typical trait of psychopaths is to accuse others of what they themselves are doing. Actions speak louder than words and the results of the actions of the West in the Middle East for decades are clear: destruction and death on a massive scale, while Russia has done quite the opposite with its precision air strikes against terrorists and humanitarian aid to countries in need. So who's really telling the truth? By their fruits, ye shall know them.

Washington shows true face, complains that Russia targets "Our Guys" in Syria: CIA Operatives, Military Advisers, Mercenaries, Special Forces

Comment: It looks as if we are seeing an incremental disclosure from the Western press regarding the depth and breadth of their support, and indeed creation, of the so-called people's uprising in Syria. Ironically they are doing this in a last-ditch attempt to paint Putin as the bad guy, and do not realise that they are exposing the West as the bad guys more and more. This article looks into the question: Who are our guys in Syria?

Russian Airstrikes are Targeting "Our Guys":

The Western media quoting US officials has reported that the Russian Air Force is not really targeting ISIS terrorists.

They are targeting CIA sponsored operatives inside Syria.

According to a US official in an interview with Fox News:
'Putin is deliberately targeting our forces. Our guys are fighting for their lives.'

Moscow is "deliberately targeting" U.S.-backed forces in Syria as part of a military campaign that has killed up to 150 CIA-trained rebels, a U.S. official told Fox News

The claims state that Russia's apparent mission to destroy ISIS is really a facade, and that their real mission is to kill American assets. (October 14, 2015).
The "Our Guys" category ("fighting for their lives") not only includes bona fide "moderate terrorists" trained by the Western military alliance, it also includes countless Western military advisers, intelligence agents and mercenaries (often recruited by private security companies) operating on the ground inside Syria since March 2011.

In a bitter twist, by making these accusations directed against Moscow, the Obama Administration candidly acknowledges what has been known from the outset: the presence of Western forces inside Syria in support of Al Qaeda affiliated terrorists. Lest we forget, this constitutes an undeclared act of war against a sovereign country in violation of international law (Nuremberg).

Embracing insanity: US to begin "direct action on the ground" in Syria

Defense Secretary carter

Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said Tuesday that the U.S. will begin "direct action on the ground" against ISIS forces in Iraq and Syria, aiming to intensify pressure on the militants as progress against them remains elusive.
"We won't hold back from supporting capable partners in opportunistic attacks against ISIL, or conducting such missions directly whether by strikes from the air or direct action on the ground," Carter said in testimony before the Senate Armed Services committee, using an alternative name for the militant group.
Carter pointed to last week's rescue operation with Kurdish forces in northern Iraq to free hostages held by ISIS.

Carter and Pentagon officials initially refused to characterize the rescue operation as U.S. boots on the ground. However, Carter said last week that the military expects "more raids of this kind" and that the rescue mission "represents a continuation of our advise and assist mission." This may mean some American soldiers "will be in harm's way, no question about it," Carter said last week.

After months of denying that U.S. troops would be in any combat role in Iraq, Carter late last week in a response to a question posed by NBC News, also acknowledged that the situation U.S. soldiers found themselves in during the raid in Hawija was combat.

Comment: It appears Russia's military intervention in Syria has taken too big a toll on the United States' unofficial army, a.k.a the Islamic State, and the US is now prepared to go full on crazy to ensure their survival.

Turkey confirms attack on Kurds in Syria

Image

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has confirmed that the Turkish military has attacked Kurdish fighters in northern Syria. The Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) said Turkey shot at its forces in the town of Tal Abyad on Sunday. The YPG has been a key ally of the US in fighting the so-called Islamic State (IS) group in Syria.

Turkey fears advances by the YPG near its Syrian border could fuel separatist sentiments amongst Kurds in Turkey. The attacks come amid increasing tensions in Turkey ahead of elections.
"We said the [YPG-aligned Democratic Union Party] PYD will not go west of the Euphrates and that we would hit it the moment it did," Mr Davutoglu told Turkish ATV television late Monday.
He gave no further details.

Comment: It's brazen and outrageous that Turkey thinks it has the authority to tell foreign groups where they can go on their own land, and then to attack them when they don't follow their 'orders'. It appears that Turkey, like its Western brethren, is lashing out as a result of the collapsing psychopathic reality.

Iran will join Russian-led BRICS New Development Bank

Image

Tehran intends to participate in the BRICS New Development Bank, the Iranian Tasnim news agency reported on Monday, citing an Iranian official.

The Iranian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Mohammad Khazaee said at a meeting of a joint Iran-Brazil economic council that the country is aiming to join the BRICS bank.

The Bank was established in July at the BRICS summit in the Russian city of Ufa. The NDB intends to promote sustainable development in BRICS states. The start-up capital is $50 billion and is projected to reach $100 billion. The headquarters of the bank is in Shanghai.

NDB is headed by a veteran Indian banker KV Kamath, who said the bank would be giving its first loans in April 2016.

BRICS - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - comprise about 30 percent of world's GDP in PPP terms and are projected to increase to as much as 45 percent by 2030. The bloc already accounts for 17 percent of world trade.

Last week, Russian Energy Minister Aleksandr Novak visited Iran where he negotiated a Russia-Iran bank to boost joint projects. The report of Iran joining BRICS bank appears to be linked to Novak's visit.
