The White House professed its neutrality Monday in the growing debate over FBI Director James Comey's decision to notify Congress that he had resumed the agency's investigation into former secretary of State Hillary Clinton's emails.

"I'll neither defend nor criticize what Director Comey has decided to communicate to the public about his decision," White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters after speaking to Obama about the issue. He described Obama as "pretty even-keeled" about the news, even in the midst of his aggressive campaign schedule on Clinton's behalf.

Earnest's statement came amid growing criticism of Comey's handling of the investigation, both from Democrats and even some Republicans.

Russian Defense Minister Shoigu: West's failure to control terrorists have delayed peace talks indefinitely

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Tuesday a Western failure to rein in violent Islamists in Syria had indefinitely delayed the resumption of peace talks.

Shoigu said that rebels backed by Western governments had been attacking civilians in the Syrian city of Aleppo, despite a pause in Russian and Syrian air attacks.

"As a result, the prospects for the start of a negotiation process and the return to peaceful life in Syria are postponed for an indefinite period," Shoigu said.

Separately, a Kremlin spokesman said that a temporary pause in Russian and Syrian government air strikes on Aleppo was in force for now, but could not be extended if the rebels in the city did not halt their attacks.

Insurgents launched an offensive last week against government-held western Aleppo, more than a month into an operation by the army to retake the city's rebel-held eastern districts, which it had already put under siege.

Best of the Web: Former British Ambassador: DNC, Podesta leaks 'come from within official Washington circles'

According to former British ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray, the now infamous Podesta and Democratic National Committee emails were not leaked by Russian hackers, but by a Washington insider.

In an exclusive interview with Sputnik, Mr. Murray said:

"The source of these emails and leaks has nothing to do with Russia at all. I discovered what the source was when I attended the Sam Adam's whistleblower award in Washington. The source of these emails comes from within official circles in Washington DC. You should look to Washington not to Moscow."

A Tale of Two Cities: The West's outrageous media coverage of Mosul vs. Aleppo

putin propaganda
A TALE OF TWO CITIES
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times"
The best of times — that's Mosul. The liberation of the city from ISIS is going apace, with the US Air Force assisting Iraq. Yes, the resistance is fierce, and there will be door-to-door fighting, but the day of deliverance is coming -- a summary of NPR this morning.

No war crimes, not even any mention of civilian casualties under the euphemism of "collateral damage." And Mosul is never called "a city under siege"!

The worst of times — that's Aleppo, "a city under siege." This is where Dictator Assad and the Russians are deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure under the condemnation of the western world for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Thus speak the parrots, with one voice, following Mark C. Toner's press briefings. And NPR is there to remind us that Kerry wants Russian war crimes investigated ['Russia's bombing of civilians in Syria "beg for an appropriate investigation of war crimes."'] and to remind us that Russia is bombing hospitals.
Never a mention of the besieged being ISIS!

Aren't you surprised that Hillary and the presstitutes haven't blamed Putin for FBI director Comey's reopening of the Hillary email case? But the presstitutes have done the next best thing for Hillary. They have made Comey the issue, not Hillary.

According to US Senator Harry Reid and the presstitutes, we don't need to worry about Hillary's crimes. After all, she is only a political woman feathering her nest, just as political men have done for ages. Why all this misogynist talk about Hillary? The presstitutes' cry is that Comey's alleged crime is far more important. This woman-hating Republican violated the Hatch Act by telling Congress that the investigation he said was closed is now reopened. A very strange interpretation of the Hatch Act. During an election it is OK to announce that a candidate for president is cleared but it is not OK to say that a candidate is under investigation.

In July 2016 Comey violated the Hatch Act when he, on orders from the corrupt Obama Attorney General, announced Hillary clean. In so doing, Comey used the prestige of federal clearance of Hillary's violation of national security protocols to boost her standing in the election polls.

Actually, Hillary's standing in the polls is based on the pollsters over-weighting Hillary supporters in the polls. It is easy to produce a favorite if you overweight their supporters in the poll questions. If you look at the crowds attending the two candidate's public appearances, it is clear that the American people prefer Donald Trump, who is opposed to war with Russia and China. War with nuclear powers is the big issue of the election.

President Vladimir Putin has ordered a humanitarian pause in Aleppo from 9am to 7pm on November 4, the Russian General Staff has reported, while urging the armed groups to stop fighting in Aleppo and leave the city with their arms via two corridors.

General Valery Gerasimov, the chief of the Russian General Staff, said the militants failed to break through the blockade around the city last week and accept Russia's proposal to leave eastern Aleppo through two specially designated corridors, while reiterating that they would be allowed to keep arms.

"Considering that our American colleagues were unable to separate the opposition from terrorists, we are addressing all militant leaders directly, urging them to cease hostilities and leave Aleppo with their arms," he said. "Two corridors will be opened, from which Syrian troops and weapons would be pulled back."

How Putin derailed the West's imperial project

hillary queen chaos
Has Putin spoiled the war harpy's coronation?
"Nation state as a fundamental unit of man's organized life has ceased to be the principal creative force: International banks and multinational corporations are acting and planning in terms that are far in advance of the political concepts of the nation-state."

— Zbigniew Brzezinski, Between Two Ages: The Technetronic Era, 1971

"I'm going to continue to push for a no-fly zone and safe havens within Syria....not only to help protect the Syrians and prevent the constant outflow of refugees, but to gain some leverage on both the Syrian government and the Russians."

— Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Third Presidential Debate
Why is Hillary Clinton so eager to intensify US involvement in Syria when US interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya have all gone so terribly wrong?

The answer to this question is simple. It's because Clinton doesn't think that these interventions went wrong. And neither do any of the other members of the US foreign policy establishment. (aka - The Borg). In fact, in their eyes these wars have been a rousing success. Sure, a few have been critical of the public relations backlash from the nonexistent WMD in Iraq, (or the logistical errors, like disbanding the Iraqi Army) but - for the most part - the foreign policy establishment is satisfied with its efforts to destabilize the region and remove leaders that refuse to follow Washington's diktats.

This is hard for ordinary people to understand. They can't grasp why elite powerbrokers would want to transform functioning, stable countries into uninhabitable wastelands overrun by armed extremists, sectarian death squads and foreign-born terrorists. Nor can they understand what has been gained by Washington's 15 year-long rampage across the Middle East and Central Asia that has turned a vast swathe of strategic territory into a terrorist breeding grounds? What is the purpose of all this?

Comment: With all the corruption scandals surrounding Killary as Wikileaks continues to roll out the Podesta emails, not to mention the Abedin/Weiner laptop mess, it may be the PTB will be making adjustments in strategy to accommodate a possible Trump presidency. In fact, it may be that the PTB have switched to backing Trump. Stay tuned!
