The corruption around Park Geun-hye and Choi Soon-sil - pre-election exacerbation?

Park Geun-hye
As it has already been pointed out, the scandal in the Republic of Korea around the figure of Park Geun-hye has moved past the point of a purely corruption case connected with the illegal fund-raising for Mir and K-Sports Foundations, and now accusations against Ms. Choi and her friend, the President, have taken a new turn. The scandal is being inflated both by the opposition, and by the formally mainstream media of the Republic of Korea. The problem has received wide coverage in the English-language newspapers leading to a whole range of materials that state that the President's rating in the Republic of Korea has never fallen so much and the impeachment of Park Geun-hye is not just on the horizon, but just round the corner.

Who is Choi Soon-sil? She is a close friend of the President and is 4 years younger than Park Geun-hye. She is perhaps her closest friend and almost like a relative to her as Park's relations with her own brother and sister are strained. They have known each other for about 40 years, and Choi has even chosen outfits for Park.

It only gets worse: Clinton Foundation investigations by IRS, FBI and Intelligence

Clinton Crime Family Foundation
© Freedom DAILYIt's actually more like 90 cents...
Wikileaks has also revealed that the Clinton Foundation, which is the closest thing to a Racketeering Organized Crime Family, is being investigated by the IRS. However, sources also say that the FBI investigation of the Clinton Foundation is far more serious than did she have classified info on private emails.

The internal war we have warned is unfolding with Intelligence and Law Enforcement standing against Obama and the corrupt DOJ under Lynch is really heating up. The FBI realizes that Lynch's DOJ will protect Hillary at all costs and will never allow her to be criminally charged. They have no choice now but to leak everything they can to show the corruption going on in the Department of Justice (see Daily Mail).

There are 650,000+ emails on Weiner's laptop. Meanwhile, Huma Abedin is preparing for her own criminal charges of obstruction of justice. She did not turn over that laptop when ordered to do so. She is now crying "she doesn't know how her emails wound up on her husband's computer" according to the Washington Post. She is saying that and it is not plausible. She had to be using that computer. Oh she may try to claim that her husband hacked her emails to escape the criminal charges. But that will get really messy. It would also mean there was a MAJOR breach of security.

Now the FBI is letting the press know that Clinton's server was hacked by at least five foreign intelligence agencies. There are now also two additional investigations into Hillary on that score. State Department has revealed there were 10 attempts to hack Hillary in just 2 days. Let's face it, if Hillary is elected, she will most likely be IMPEACHED as was her husband, but this time she would be removed. This is not a Monica deal.

This election is going down in history as the tipping point for the United States. It has revealed how corrupt Congress really is. We have even former Bush Sr saying he will vote for Hillary. He just lost all my respect for he has chosen the status quo to save the politicians rather than his country. This is just over the top. Even Podesta began a lobbying firm with his brother, which now collects $120,000 PER MONTH in a fee from Saudi Arabia.

Comment: Looks like the Clintons may have a very bad day. Sigh.

Erdogan says Germany is 'aiding terror' after Merkel's critical comments

After German Chancellor Angela Merkel criticized Turkey's latest press crackdown, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan blasted Berlin for providing refuge to members of organizations that are illegal in his country, saying Germany is "aiding terror."

"You are aiding terror!" Erdogan insisted in a speech in the Turkish capital of Ankara, referring to Germany. Turkey's president said that Ankara expects nothing from Berlin, but stressed that Germany "will be remembered by history for harboring terror," Turkey's Hurriyet daily reports.

Erdogan went on to express "concern" about Germany "taking members of terrorist organizations such as the PKK [Kurdistan Workers' Party] and [DHKP-C Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front] under its protection."

Pakistan on Thursday named eight Indian diplomats it accuses of espionage and terrorism, as tension mounted between the nuclear-armed rivals following days of artillery duels and skirmishes on the border dividing the disputed Kashmir region.

The foreign ministry said six Indian embassy staff worked for New Delhi's Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) intelligence agency, while two were operatives for the Intelligence Bureau agency. Their names were leaked to Pakistani media overnight.

In response, India said it "completely rejected the baseless and unsubstantiated allegations" leveled by Pakistan against officials at its high commission in Islamabad.

Maduro: International financial institutions trying to destabilize Venezuela

Maduro

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro accused international financial institutions of unfairly persecuting his country. The president argued his government has consistently honoured its debt obligations in recent years, and dismissed speculation his administration faces the risk of default.

"This is the only country in the world that pays out more than US$60 million dollars (in debt obligations), which is a very high percent (of our GDP)," he told state broadcaster VTV. Maduro added, "We have absolute solvency (in terms of) finance, politics, institutions, morals - the criminal (international financial) raters are increasing the risk (assessments) as a way to attack us."

He continued by arguing this attack has persisted for three years, with ratings agencies using negative credit outlooks to lay the groundwork for the destabilization of his socialist government.

Throughout Maduro's first year in office, 2013, Venezuela saw its credit rating downgraded by ratings agencies Moody's and S&P, with Fitch following suit in March 2014. In January 2015, Moody's revised its outlook, and put its outlook at stable. A newer report from the same agency in March 2016 returned its outlook to negative.

Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicted last month Venezuela would see GDP contract by 10 percent this year. It made the same prediction in 2015. The fund has since conceded 2015 GDP contraction was nearly half that figure, at 5.7 percent.

Latest Fox News ratings show Trump gaining ground in key states after FBI's October surprise

Wahlkampf Trump gegen Hillary
The FBI's October surprise appears to have improved Donald Trump's overall standing in the electoral map, with the latest Fox News Electoral Scorecard showing several states shifting in his favor since last week.

The Fox News Decision Team announced updates to the scorecard Thursday afternoon, reflecting the following changes based on recent polling and other factors:
  • New Hampshire moves from "lean Democrat" to "toss-up"
  • Ohio moves from "toss-up" to "lean Republican"
  • Indiana moves from "lean Republican" to "solid Republican"
  • Missouri moves from "lean Republican" to "solid Republican"
Despite the changes, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton maintains the clear advantage, and Trump's path to victory remains a tight one.

But the latest ratings show Clinton's advantage diminishing.

Comment: Polls taken since FBI reopened Clinton investigation show Trump leads with 46% of vote

Flashback Killary's price tag for corporate America? $21 million

"Follow the money." That telling phrase, which has come to summarize the Watergate scandal, has been a part of the lexicon since 1976. It's shorthand for political corruption: At what point do "contributions" become bribes, "constituent services" turn into quid pro quos and "charities" become slush funds?

Ronald Reagan was severely criticized in 1989 when, after he left office, he was paid $2 million for a couple of speeches in Japan. "The founding fathers would have been stunned that an occupant of the highest office in this land turned it into bucks," sniffed a Columbia professor.

So what would Washington and Jefferson make of Hillary Rodham Clinton? Mandatory financial disclosures released this month show that, in just the two years from April 2013 to March 2015, the former first lady, senator and secretary of state collected $21,667,000 in "speaking fees," not to mention the cool $5 mil she corralled as an advance for her 2014 flop book, "Hard Choices."

Incirlik Air Base: Turkey blocks Germany's construction projects

Turkish authorities have so far refused to permit construction of German infrastructure at Turkey's southern Incirlik Air Base, German media reported Friday.Berlin plans to spend some $64 million on reconstruction of its facilities at the Turkish military base, where German troops have been deployed.

According to Die Welt newspaper, Germany expected to start the construction activities earlier in the year. However, Turkey has not signed the documents necessary for the beginning of the process yet. The permission has not been signed yet, as the Turkish side was involved in the "procedures necessary for the final approval," the German government said in response to a parliamentary request on the issue, as quoted by the media outlet.

German-Turkish relations deteriorated after the German parliament's decision in June to label the 1915 massacre of Armenians by the Ottoman Empire as genocide. Following this decision, Ankara restricted a delegation of German lawmakers' access to the air base. Nonetheless, in October, Turkey allowed the delegation to visit the German servicemen at the base.

The Incirlik Air Base hosts six German Tornado reconnaissance jets aircraft, as well as jets from the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Qatar participating in the US-led coalition against the Islamic State jihadist group, which is outlawed in many countries including Russia and the United States.

Comment: Expect coalition leverage or bribery to be applied to get this operation back on track.

Mississippi: African-American church torched, defaced with 'Vote Trump' graffiti

A historic African-American church in Greenville, Mississippi, was burned down and vandalized with "Vote Trump" graffiti. Local and federal officials are investigating the fire as a hate crime.

The Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church went up in flames around 9:15pm on Tuesday, according to Greenville Fire Chief Ruben Brown. Nobody was injured in the blaze. The words "Vote Trump" were spray-painted on the side of the burned-out church, which was home to a congregation of 200 members.

Federal officials, including the FBI and the ATF, were on the scene helping the local authorities investigate. "The FBI Jackson Division is aware of the situation in Greenville, and we are working with our local, state and federal law enforcement partners to determine if any civil rights crimes were committed," said bureau spokesman Brett Carr.

Calling the church-burning a "hateful and cowardly act," Greenville Mayor Errick Simmons said on Wednesday the incident is being investigated as a hate crime. "This is a direct assault on people's right to freely worship," Simmons said. "We are going to investigate the matter with all deliberate speed and will not rest until the perpetrator is arrested and prosecuted."

Photos of the graffiti on the burned-out church are already making the rounds on social media amid the tense pre-election atmosphere, as supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton were quick to blame Republican nominee Donald Trump's supporters.

Comment: Frame to blame is a method used by desperate candidates on the brink of losing their self-anointed place in history. Well-trained Killary bots accused Republican supporters of this news-garnering, historically and symbolically-charged incident. Where's the proof? Could it be desperate deflection modus operandi at work here? Or, an overt message to black voters? It was certainly a hit to the heart and soul of their community. Mike Pence called it "political terrorism."

Return favor: Turkey arrests terrorists wanted by Russia for extradition

Putin Erdogan
© The Moscow Times
On October 27th, 2016, as a result of joint operative-investigative activities between Russian and Turkish intelligence, in Istanbul were arrested leaders and active participants of an underground gang from the North Caucasus region and Crimea, who were hiding from Russian law enforcement on Turkish territory.

During the course of the operation, representatives of the Crimean branch of Hizb-ut-Tahrir and the North Caucasus wing of ISIS, totaling 80 people, were arrested. In line with the agreement with Turkey's intelligence services, their extradition to Russia is being resolved.

A high-ranking source in security structures explained to Russian Spring that Turkish intelligence services' transfer of information on the Crimean Tatar and North Caucasus terrorist network to the Russian side, timed for the meeting between Putin and Erdogan in Sochi, was a gesture of thanks for intelligence warnings about the coup that failed in July, 2016.

Comment: One good turn has brought about another. With the militants in Syria and Iraq taking most of the headlines, other factions in other locations rarely come to attention. We must not forget how widespread this militant disease has become, nor be ignorant to the ramifications that may arise.
