Explaining to the Senate why he chose to leak his notes about meetings with President Donald Trump through a personal friend, former FBI Director James Comey had some fun at the media's expense, comparing reporters staking out his house to beach seagulls.

Testifying before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday, a month after he was fired by Trump, Comey said he handed his memos to a friend - identified by CNN as Columbia Law School professor Daniel Richman - because the media were camped in his driveway.

"I was actually going out of town with my wife to hide, and I was worried it would be like feeding seagulls at the beach,"Comey said, drawing chuckles from the gallery.

Oliver Stone's "The Putin Interviews" causes hysterics among the globalists

Oliver Stone's movie The Putin Interviews breaks all clichés of western propaganda against Russia and its political leader.

The Putin Interviews directed by famous American director Oliver Stone is coming out on June 12-15 2017, however, it made the Western media worry and get afraid that Western common people could see absolutely another Putin that differs from his image created by the anti-Russian propaganda.

As it was expected, the most officious, globalist media criticized Stone for his attempt to "humanize an authoritarian Russian leader". Especially, The Daily Beast well known for its frequently provocative anti-Russian rhetoric stood out in its critics.

The published fragments of "The Putin Interviews" on the Internet show us that the president of Russia appears in Stone's movie as absolutely simple person who drives a car, plays hockey, feeds horses and works out. However, the Western media used biased coverage of things that were interesting for their viewers who always cry listening stories about persecution of sodomites in Russia or reports about "Russian aggression" against "democratic" Ukraine or "freedom-loving, peaceful, moderate opposition" in Syria.

The 'Impeach Trump' Conspiracy: A Coup Against a Constitutionally Elected President

Pressed by Megyn Kelly on his ties to President Trump, an exasperated Vladimir Putin blurted out, "We had no relationship at all. ... I never met him. ... Have you all lost your senses over there?"

Yes, Vlad, we have.

Consider the questions that have convulsed this city since the Trump triumph, and raised talk of impeachment.

Did Trump collude with Russians to hack the DNC emails and move the goods to WikiLeaks, thus revealing the state secret that DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was putting the screws to poor Bernie Sanders?

Trump states the obvious that Qatar has 'historically been a funder of terrorism at a very high level' but what about Saudi Arabia?

President Donald Trump has attacked Qatar for funding terrorism during a meeting with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis at the White House. Trump took credit for the recent decision by Arab nations to cut off diplomatic ties with Qatar.

Qatar has "historically been a funder of terrorism at a very high level," Trump said during a press conference in the White House Rose Garden.

"I decided, along with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, our great generals and military people, the time had come to call on Qatar to end its funding ‒ they have to end that funding ‒ and its extremist ideology."

Tillerson complains Arab states' blockade of Qatar hinders campaign against ISIS

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson urged the Gulf Arab nations to ease the blockade of Qatar, citing humanitarian concerns and saying it may hinder the US-led campaign against Islamic State (IS).

"We call on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt to ease the blockade against Qatar," Tillerson told reporters in Washington on Friday, adding that the blockade caused unintended hardship to the people of Qatar and poses an impediment to the military campaign against IS (formerly ISIS/ISIL) in Syria and Iraq.

"The blockade is hindering US military action in the region and the campaign against ISIS," Tillerson said.

"We ask that there be no further escalation by the parties in the region," Tillerson said, calling for "calm and thoughtful dialogue with clear expectations" in order to resolve the crisis, endorsing the mediation proposal by the Emir of Kuwait.

Lunatic McCain blames 'late night baseball game' for bizarre Comey questioning

Senator John McCain says staying up late to watch a baseball game was the reason behind his confused and often meandering questioning of former FBI chief James Comey.

The Republican questioned Comey during Thursday's Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, focussing on the FBI's investigation into alleged Russian interference during the 2016 election.

Speaking for nearly six minutes, McCain asked why Comey was able to state that the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server did not need to be pursued but that he could not say the same of the probe into President Donald Trump's administration.

Question

Unable to grasp the larger picture? Donald thinks he's pulled the plug on ISIS and Al-Qaida (and the CIA?)

"Without the jihadists, the U.S. would have to resort to massive deployment of its own troops to the region -- a mission that the American people will not accept."
The international Islamic jihadist network, created nearly four decades ago in Afghanistan by the United States, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, is unraveling in full view of a planetary audience. Donald Trump thinks it's all his doing -- but he's wrong, of course.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has rallied most of the Gulf Cooperative Council to isolate -- and possibly overthrow -- the emir of neighboring Qatar, the world's third largest natural gas producer. The dispute between Qatar and the House of Saud -- the two main funders of al Qaida and its spawn, the Islamic State -- is rooted in rivalries beyond the mental grasp of the idiot in the White House, but Trump nevertheless takes full credit.
"During my recent trip to the Middle East I stated that there can no longer be funding of Radical Ideology," Trump tweeted. "Leaders pointed to Qatar — look!"
Trump appears to actually believe that the Saudis -- the godfathers, along with U.S., of international jihadism - - have renounced their bankrolling of Islamist holy wars.
"So good to see the Saudi Arabia visit with the King and 50 countries already paying off," tweeted Trump. "They said they would take a hard line on funding. Perhaps this will be the beginning of the end to the horror of terrorism!"

Comment: Trump may be coming to some understanding of the magnitude of the situation after initially indicating support for Saudi Arabia and the other countries who have moved to isolate Qatar: Regardless of what Trump does or does not understand, the situation has the potential to have major ramifications for the Middle East and the geopolitical and energy export situation in the region and beyond.

Moscow registers daily cyberattacks emanating from the territory of the United States, but does not make ludicrous accusations that it is orchestrated by the White House or US intelligence agencies, Kremlin press-secretary Dmitry Peskov has said.

"Hacking attacks, which are carried out from the US territory, are recorded daily, including attacks targeting the website of the Russian President," Peskov told journalists on Thursday, adding that similar attacks "come from the territories of many countries around the world."

Russian MoD: US-led coalition interferes in Syrian government's fight against terrorism

The air forces of the US-led coalition are working to undermine the anti-terrorist efforts of the Syrian government, Colonel General Sergey Surovikin of the Russian ground forces has said.

"Despite promoting the aim of fighting international terrorism, the coalition is striking the Syrian military, allowing IS militants to leave encircled areas unhindered, thus strengthening the terrorist groupings near Palmyra and Deir ez-Zor," Surovikin said.

"The coalition air forces and the strongholds of the forces of New Syrian Army [now known as the Revolutionary Commando Army] have blocked the way of the government forces, tasked with defeating IS [Islamic State] groups," he said at a briefing on Friday. "This is a violation of the sovereign right of Syria to protect it borders," he said.

The statement comes after US warplanes stuck pro-government forces near At Tanf on Thursday, the third such incident in the space of several weeks.
